Streamflower made an understanding noise in her throat and glanced at the sun's position. Nearly sunset. "I'd best get back to the nursery. And you'd best get into the warrior's den. Gonna be a cold night." She stood and gently lifted Smokekit off of Firestreak's head, and led the other three kits back to the nursery, lifting her tail in a gesture of farewell.

Snowclaw's ears twitched and he woke up from his sleep. "Loneclaw?" He mewed quietly. He looked around. He couldn't see anything since he was so far back in the cave. "Why is this happening?" He thought, his memories clashing with his desire to move on with his life.

Shadowstar yawned and leapt up onto a low ledge, jutting out from the cliff. Carved into the cliff was a small cave fit for one cat. The gray and black leader padded into the cave and laid down on the unusually sandy floor. She curled up more comfortably and was soon fast asleep.

As Streamflower padded past him, Spottednose mewed curiously, "What were you two talking about anyway?

Streamlower settled down in front of her mate and meowed, "We were catching up, and I asked him how the life of a loner was, why his name was Firestreak." She stretched and yawned. "That type of thing."

A figure looking down from the hill collapses into the snow. He had many wounds. His fur was mangled, scratches all over his face. Some of his fur was ripped out from thier roots. He had a wounded paw that wouldn't heal anytime soon, and if it did, it wouldn't be fully healed for the rest of his life. Part of his left ear was torn, one eye was left in a permant squint. His paws bled. He was on a mission. He had to find his brother..

He stumbled down the hill, snow sticking to his grey fur. He made a yowl as he rolled onto his paws. His cuts were clotted, some scars. He headed to the lake, following the trail of foot prints that still remained.

Snowclaw woke up. He got out of the den, stretching. He looked at the lake, wondering how it would look in the new leaf. He then looked at the snow covered ground, anxious to feel the wet grass under his paw pads. He heard snow crunching in the direction in which they came. He spun around, seeing a figure, badly injured. He came closer, closer, and closer before collapsing by Snowclaw's pads. He mewed "Hello...brother..." Be fore passing out. Snowclaw screeched "GET THIS CAT TO STORMTAIL!! HE'S MY BROTHER!!!!" He pulled his brother into camp by his scruff.

Stormtail was woken by the screech and sprang to his paws. He dashed out of his new den and ran towards Snowclaw, who was dragging another cat by the scruff. "Snowclaw, what in the name of StarClan is going on?" Stormtail mewed, not wanting to wake the Clan.

Stormtail sighed and bounded back to his den, returning soon after with the right herbs. After taking care of the cat's injuries Stormtail mewed, "Mind telling me what's going on now?"

Snowclaw looked confused, worried and sad at his brother. He mewed "Im not sure. Last time I saw him, he was captured in a strange device that trapped him in a tree. He wasn't injured during the capture, I wonder how he got these injuries..."
Loneclaw's injured leg twitched, he made a pained growl, his lip curled, showing a broken fang.

Snowclaw gently bit into Loneclaw's scruff, dragging him into the warrior's den. He wasn't going to let him out of his sight now. When in the den, he laid down next to his brother sharing his heat. He remembered the time he had to do the same before again.

Violet was sitting just outside the warrior's den, unsure if she should go in or not. She was tired, yes, but she wasn't a Clan cat.
