Streamflower didn't follow Spottednose. She turned to Stormtail and hissed, "We could have saved her. You could have saved her! Why didn't you do something?!" Stormtail mewed, "I would only have prolonged Shadowstar's suffering." He looked utterly defeated, crushed even, as he looked at his fallen leader. "Why didn't you save her?" Streamflower yowled, angry tears spilling from her eyes. "Why, Stormtail? Why did StarClan take her?" The gray medicine cat backed away uneasily. "I cannot say," he mumbled, retreating to the mouth of his den and gazing skyward.
Hawksight stared at Snowclaw blankly. "She was a brave leader," she mewed. She sighed shakily and meowed, "We should all be proud to have served her."

Snowclaw got up and looked at Hawksight, trying to supress anger. "This always happened to me, anyone I cared about were taken from me or killed!" He snarled and padded off into the den, wanting to be alone

Firestreak continued to watch the fallen ThunderClan leader, shaking his head. This is what StarClan wanted...But...Why? he thought to himself, sighing. Firestreak padded over to his spot, sitting, staring up at the sky, confused to no end. He repeated what the StarClan cat had told him in his mind, still staring up at the sky, sorrow clouding his gaze.

"Ha!" Hawksight snorted. "I never knew my father. My sister was killed in front of me by my mother. I myself was abandoned a short while later. I found my brothers dead on a Thunderpath, my mother beside them. Since then I've been a loner. So good luck trying to win sympathy from me!" She was snarling at the end, and without waiting for a reply, turned and stalked out of the camp. I should never have joined a Clan. NEVER! It was a mouse-brained idea. Should've known they wouldn't give a sniff. They just want more warriors! She snorted angrily and continued through the forest, heading for the border with WindClan.

Spottednose walked out of the nursery to see Hawksight stalking out, looking angry. He sighed and yowled to no one in particular, "Why, StarClan?! We revere you, we respect you, and what do we get in return?! NOTHING! Not anything! You kill our Leader, making me an ill-prepared one I might add, and now we have cats leaving us?!"

Snowclaw didn't pay attention to what Hawksight said. He just wanted to be alone. He thought about what he had to live for. His family was wiped out. Years after he's witnessed death occur right infront of him. He just snarled and threw himself onto the warrior den floor.

Saberclaw had been out hunting near the Thunderclan border, he and two other cats padded closer, curiously, listening to the occasional wails. Saberclaws ears pricked and he thought aloud "It sounds... like... Well whatever it is they are miserble!" He instantly brightened up at this thought into a cheerful mood. Glanceing at the other two warriors...

Snowclaw mumbled. "If only Loneclaw sent me a message, something to help with this crisis.." His thoughts darkened "If Loneclaw doing this? Has he turned starclan against us?" He thought about his message at the moonpool. "Shadowstar's mother could have wanted Shadowstar by her side...poisening the fresh kill... monsters driving us out of the old camp..." Snowclaw's eye widedned. "It was all their idea..." His growled, sitting up now "Her...idea"

Hawksight had changed direction and suddenly slammed into another cat. "Oh...sorry," she mewed, backing up. She looked up, eyes cold and blank. She thought she could get used to Snowclaw. Apparently not. At the thought of Snowclaw, her heart ached. She sighed and lowered her head again, trying to get around the three cats.

Saberclaw smirked as the warriors casually surrounded the lost looking thunderclan cat. He mewed in a freindly but cold and sinister voice "Oh? and what is a young warrior like yourself doing wandering around out here?" Grins were appearing on the other two cats aswell, relishing the idea of knowing exactly what was making thunderclan so miserable...

Snowclaw burst out of the den, frantically mewing gibrish. Without thinking, he ran into his tree. Hiseyes widened and made a pained yowl. He discharged the pain and ran to Spottednose, mewing so fast he couldn't make out a word. "I KNOW WHY EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING THE WAY IT IS!!!" With that off his chest, his face ached and made one last yowl of pain before rolling onto his back.
