"Oh don't worry, I'm not looking for a fight," the new cat purred silkily, her burning eyes the only signal of how angry she was. "Just stay away from Tyrant. He is my soon to be mate." She flicked her tail and padded back out of Hawksight's room, heading into her own.

The black she-cat laughed scornfully. "I wouldn't dream of hurting someone lower than scum," she snarled, padding into her room and looking around at the black walls. The carpet under her paws was blood red, and the only chair in the room was black and red.

Hawksight rested her head on Snowclaw's shoulder, surrendering herself to sleep shortly afterward.
Skye and Tyrant were curled up underneath the chair in Tyrant's room. Both were asleep, unaware of the shadow that slipped inside. Fangs and unsheathed claws gleamed as the cat padded past a window.

Snowclaw saw a blinding light in his dream. Loneclaw walked out and the light vanished. He mewed "Something urgent is going to happen, but even starclan can't see what. Wake up Snowclaw...wake up." Snowclaw awoke, his eyes shot open.

Firestreak had been picking the last bit of meat from a sparrow from the fresh-kill pile. He stood, stretching, deciding it was best if he sent out a hunting party. I'm going hunting....Anyone willing to join me? Firestreak mewed, bored, and also wanting to help the clan, now that he was deputy...

Hawksight got up and started sniffing around the openings. She pressed on one with a paw and spat in surprise when it didn't move. "We're stuck in here," she growled, neck fur bristling as she glared at the opening. She tried pushing with both forepaws, but the little opening wouldn't budge.
