U-rex? dont you mean T.Rex?
@Chook: that's Hunter, Crusher's NORMAL SIZED juvenile son. and the raptors had already run off
Hunter looked at the small Tyrannosaur. he continued to grunt at the unconscious rex, trying to get it's attention...
Fatalis had caught himself a compy, and was sitting in a tre overlooking a small cave. inside, some odd looking raptors were collected, one killing an injured Oviraptor that had come up near the cave. Fatalis hissed in disapproval at the raptor's actions..."
It was a mere child. it was harmless, and that raptor wasn't even hungry" he thought. his hiss was almost inaudiable. he was sure they hadn't heard him. he continued eating the compy in his left hand, another in his right waiting to be eaten, and yet another pinned to the branch he was standing on by his killer claw, which was kept at a stable amount of pressure, to make sure it wasn't pressing hard enough to split the compy in half. he had carried it up the tree using his mouth, with another compy in each of his hands, using his legs along to keep balance. the amount of time spent in trees had trained him to be very well balanced. much more so than the average raptor. he was one of the few natural raptors on the island who could out do the mutants' skill, intelligence, strength and speed. alot of his life alone had been spent eating off killed mutants, often the kills Crusher made and left. eating mutants was the only way to gain the mutants' size and strength, but retain the sanity. however, no predator feeding off mutants could grow as large as a predator drinking from the lake. so the strength of the effects was higher if using the lake, but it also had the insanity as a side effect. eating mutants, although didn't give you the size of the mutants, let you keep the mental stability, and still get some of the advantages. it was rumoured among Rexes that that was the secret behind Crusher's immense size. this mutant eating was the reason behind Fatalis' superiority over most other raptors. Fatlis hadn't grown much larger than the average raptor, as growing wasn't one of the effects raptors suffered from. that effect usually only happened to the larger, bulkier predators. Raptors only became faster, stronger and more intelligent, all 3 of which Fatalis had gained from, without being effected by the insanity that the mutants suffered from. Fatalis decided to watch these raptors a bit longer...
