Gaara shrugged as a thin stream of sand seemed to come off the side of the gourd itself, wrapping around Yoruichi and lifting her upright. "We either move or get into a fight we may or may not want" he said as he turned to head into the alleyway...

Yoruichi nodded and limped forward, her knees aching. The demon-child was exhausted, but at least she'd known what was going on while she fought. It seemed that she was finally starting to gain control.

Jacen just looked at them...thinking what he should do next...

He glanced to the left, where the creature headed off. With his speed, he would eventually find it...then again why fight a crippled a monster.

Suddenly the sand wielding person stopped, an unseen force keeping him from moving forward. Suddenly, a sonic wave emitted from the spot, sending him back a few feet. In its place stood a tall man-like shape, but was completely metal and a sword was sheathed on his back, the one gleaming red eye in the center of the faceplate staring down at the person. The Ninja stood, very still, simply staring at the people infront of him...

a barrier of sand had suddenly formed in front of Gaara as he skidded to a hault after being knocked back a few feet. oh, what now? he thought as he looked at the being in front of him, the barrier having dropped to the ground, swirling low around his ankles, some tongues of sand spreading upwards, swirling around knee height around his body, slowly moving and keeping alert. Gaara crossed his arms, watching the being that had appeared, waiting to see what would happen next...

Yoruichi stopped, watching the newcomer silently. She tried not to betray any signs of nervousness, but she was still weak from her last battle. The demon-child stood there for now, just watching, waiting for something to happen.

Suddenly the Ninja's leg was thrusted forward, kicking the sand wielding person in the chest, sending him sliding back into a nearby wall, the movement almost a completely blur. The Ninja lowered his foot, turning his head to the next person, staring at her blankly aswell...

Yoruichi stared back, praying she wouldn't lose control again. She stayed silent, not making a move at all.

The Ninja moved swiftly once more, slamming his fist into the girl's stomach, twisting around to kick her aside with the broad side of his leg, staying still with his leg raised from the kick. He slowly lowered his leg, now in the same position he was when he first appeared, staring at the two fallen people. He was annoyed with these freaks getting in his way. He knew if he would've stayed on his original course, they would surely interupt like the past heros and rejects. It was easier to get rid of them before he continued....

Yoruichi cried out as she fell, grazing her arms on the hard cement. What was this guy's problem?! She'd done nothing to him, as far as she knew. Wait...as far as she knew. Maybe she'd hurt him during a period where she'd lost control. The demon-child tried desperately to remember, but her head seared with pain once more, and she stopped.

Gaara was leaning against the wall, his gourd having unloaded all the sand and moved to protect him, just in time to stop him from hitting the wall. Gaara stood up, coughing a bit before straightening up, swinging a hand forward in an upwards motion, sending a blast of sand hurtling towards the Ninja, blasting it back several feet as another mass of sand to wrap around his leg, jerking him to a stop and swinging him sideways into a car, crushing it under the force of the impact. sand swirled up in front and to the sides of Gaara, learning from his previous fight, the sand barrier solid as steel. it wasn't going to be penetrated easily. "Was that it?" he said in a low, chilling voice, the tone of it almost murderous...

The Hornet rose above the city streets, his eyes flickering to green... Night vision. The tower in the distance was high lighted by a red box, a second targeter box focused onto the top floor. He wondered where Neeblestrix was... When he left, he had still been talking to that man. It was possible that he had left earlier and hadn't reached the shop yet....

The Ninja stood up slowly, jumping off of the wreckage, once again staring at the group, seeing the one person wrapped in a sand cacoon. The Ninja ran forward, drawing his blade as he swung it upwards, slicing through the sand like paper, the Ninja's faceplate now inches from the man's face. Sheathing his sword, the Ninja's other hand was thursted forward, grabbing the man by his clothes yanking him out of the sand barrier. The Ninja swung around, still holding onto the man, throwing him with great force into the air and into a nearby window. The cyborg stood, waiting for the man to re-appear...

the ground seemed to vibrate, shaking with extreme force as the ground beneath the Ninja's feet disintegrated, turning into a massive swirling pool of quicksand, tongues of sand reaching up and wrapping onto the Ninja's body, before heaving him down until he was neck deep in it, before suddenly solidifying, holding the Ninja's body still and completely immobilising him as Gaara walked out, his murderous gaze falling onto the Ninja's head, staring into it's one red eye with immeasurable hatred as he said "I hope you haven't finished entertaining me". his face was impassive, but his eyes showed something else. otherworldly rage unlike anything encounterable anywhere else. the sand around the Ninja began squeezing his form tightly, quickly damaging the powerful exoskeleton with the pressure as the sand pressed in, the Ninja's leg armour quickly turned from a friend to an enemy as they turned to scrap metal under the pressure, cutting into any flesh that may have been underneath. the barrier around him had reformed, but this time, it had various shades of grey, black, white and brown mixed in...

Suddenly the Ninja disappeared, reappearing in the same spot as the sonic wave shattered the sand. He lept from the hole, landed a few feet away, stretching his neck from one side to the next. "You haven't seen anything yet." the Ninja's mechanical voice sounded, staring at the barrier. The cyborg ran forward, sword already drawn, slicing into the barrier with greater force, slicing it wide open as it revieled the man inside. The Ninja grabbed him by his throat, throwing him out of the barrier, sword once again sheathed. The Ninja ran along the ground to meet the falling man, kicking him square in the back as he neared, the whole process only taking a matter of seconds. The Ninja swung around and kicked the man aside with the broad side of his leg, lowering his leg as he looked down at him. "It seems your sand isn't as quick as you thought..." his voiced sounded, his camo activating once more, now no where to be seen....

Gaara stood slowly, hunched ofer, head and arms hanging down, now getting more and more annoyed with this Ninja and his sword. he grinned sinisterly as he straightened up. with a flick of his wrist, a grinding metal sound could be heard coming from a distance away, as the sand that had stuck to the blade's flat edge on impact with the barrier ground away at it until there was nothing left but a hilt, while he commanded the sand from the quicksand pool to follow the sound, quickly finding their target and wrapping around his legs, as a massive clawed arm made of sand came down from above, encasing the Ninja in sand again, as Gaara swung his arm down, having the sand launch the Ninja towards the ground, creating a several foot deep hole as the Ninja's body hit the street, the sheer force of the blow destroying the street and making a massive hole in it, the Ninja's armour getting a serious pounding from the fight, and showing it, numerous cracks starting to appear on it from the battering it received...

The cyborg lept out of the hole, landing skillfully on the street, dusting sand off of his armor, which was still holding perfectly. It would take alot more to dent it. The Ninja was holding the hilt of the sword, swinging it up above his head, the blade materializing once more. "Not as easy as you might have thought..." his voiced sounded, bringing the blade down infront of him. Swinging it forward, the blade shattered, sending shards of metal hurling toward the person, the Ninja continueing to reform and destroy the blade in many swift movements. If the human tryed to attack with the sand, he would leave himself open to the shards...

as the shards hurtled towards Gaara, his sand shield came up, blocking it, and absorbing it into it. "Why don't i give you these back?" he said as he had the sand fire them back at over four times the original speed, moving so fast they slashed right through oncoming pieces of shrapnel as it hurtled towards the Ninja, while the extra sand started grinding against the ground, forming more and more sand as it built up an increasingly large barrier far beyond what the blade could penetrate, regardless of how strong it was, the sand extending deep into the earth's crust and bringing up the toughest minerals to enhance the Barrier's strength, making it even tougher than diamond thanks to Gaara's ability to enhance it's density and compacting it...

The Ninja dodged the pieces shot back at him, ducking back as they wizzed past his head, bending back up as he stared at the barrier. "If your going to stay inside those things, this fight appears to be fairly pointless." his voice sounded, sheathing his sword as he got into a relaxed position. The Ninja turned, walking off toward his original destination, ready to continue the fight if the man decided to attack back....

"It was pointless to attack in the first place" said Gaara to the ninja. "But you started a fight, and now you have to see it through" he added as he waved a hand, a massive arm of sand colliding with the ninja, pinning him to a wall and pressing him hard against it, immobilising him temporarily, as more sand swirled overhead...
