Ghost watched as one of the Raptors, named Sandstorm, came up to him. "lovely...now i'll probably get eaten alive by that Rex" he thought. he struggled to his feet, but felt a sharp pain in his left leg. he wasn't going anywhere fast. he looked at Sandstorm, fear evident in his eyes, and barked "Fatalis sent me to find out what caused that Raptor shreik!". he backed away but soon couldn't move anymore because of the pain in his leg. he hoped that Sandstorm wouldn't just kill him...
The Utahraptors walked in under the Lone Wolves, unaware of their presence, while Crusher kept away. as the Utah pack moved completely under the shadow of the numerically superior Lone Wolves, they were attacked. the Lone Wovles fell from the trees like rain, each one landing on the back of a Utahraptor, and Crusher moved forward. the ones that weren't killed by the killer claws or bite to the neck recieved a lethal bone crushing bite by Crusher, who ate each target in turn. soon, the entire Utahraptor pack had been wiped out. Fatalis was amazed at the skill of his fellow Lone Wolves. they had managed to wipe out an entire pack of Utahraptors without a single lost Lone Wolf. Fatalis hissed his congratulations to the other raptors, when suddenly barks of panic and fear spread among the pack. they had been attacked by a 5 raptor group of Midnight's pack. Crusher quickly reacted with a mighty roar, sending chills and trembles down the spines of everything near him. he charged at the attackers, and it was enough to scare them off, but 5 of the 20 remaining Lone Wolves had been killed, and none of the enemies had been caught or killed in the attack. Crusher looked at Fatalis in surprise. Fatalis hissed "It seems my father is more intelligent than we thought...he used a whole Utahraptor pack as bait for an attack. and now, we're tied in numbers. let's just hope he doesn't have any other predators under his control to send". Crusher growled "We need to move to a different area of Midnight's territory, otherwise you can expect a much bigger attack force very soon". Fatalis nodded, and barked and screeched. the group then jumped up into the trees, and Fatalis hissed to Crusher "We need to know more about who they have on their side. we need to weaken them if possible. but their pack is far too powerful for us to fight them like this". Crusher growled "I'll meet you to the north by the waterfall. for now, i have some killing to do". Fatalis hissed "Wait...what about your family? they couldbe attacked if they decide to get revenge?". Crusher growled "They wont be able to take revenge against a fallen tree or 2, will they?". Fatalis nodded, and watched in surprise as Crusher, despite reports that Midnight's pack had killed off much larger predators without flinching adn without losses, walked onwards towards Midnight's nest, intending to do some damage. it could have repurcussions on his family. Fatalis felt suspiscious. but he decided he'd leave the attack to Crusher. "a tree or 2...hmm..." hissed Fatalis quietly. Crusher was going to kill them off with their surroundings. but still, he'd be seen. little did he know that Crusher had an old friend who could be quite useful here...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
