Crusher continued, and saw what looked like Dilo eggs, judging by the tiny dilo skulls that were next to the shells. "We're on the right track...let's keep moving". Crusher continued for a short distance, and then was confronted by a Tyrannosaur roughly Hunter's size. it seemed to be running from something, but skidded to a hault at the sight of him. it snarled "Help me...please....help!". Crusher growled "Who are you, and what are you running from?". the Rex said "My name is Fang....a Spino's chasing me...help". If it were any other creature, Crusher would've let it go, but a Spino chasing a Rex was wrong. it wasn't supposed to happen. if it wasn't for Thrasher's father killing Crusher's crippled father, it never would have. "Time to put that Spino back in it's place" snarled Crusher. soon, the roaring of the Spino neared. he growled "Stay back, guys. this won't take long". the Spino charged into the clearing, where it saw the rex it was chasing next to Crusher. it looked like it was about to have a heart attack. Crusher growled "Spinosaur! come here!". the Spino snarled and hissed in frustration. it wanted to kill that rex so that it wouldn't come back for it's meal. Crusher growled "Why do you chase a creature that hasn't harmed you, when you already have the food in the rivers?". the Spino snarled "That rex is weak, and i want some real food. he just happened to be near by". Crusher growled "i have only one thing to say to you. Leave the Rexes alone, and tell all of your kindred to do the same. if i ever see a Spinosaur chasing a Rex again, they'll regret it". the Spino snarled "Who are you to tell me what to do, you great big lazy brute?". Crusher growled "I am Crusher, the most dominant predator on the island. if you dont do as i say, i'll show you exactly how i became the most dominant". the Spino snorted, and snarled "You? the mosty dominant? please! a Spino is the most dominant predator, not a Rex!". Crusher's colours changed, and he made a territorial roar and stepped back a couple of steps, and snarled "stand still and fight me!". the Spino, still thinking highly of itself and other Spinos, stood it's ground and roared. it wasn't going to let a Rex tell it what to do, especially since it was chasing one just a few minutes earlier. it roared a battle roar, and Crusher did the same. it stood as high as possible, and swung it's claws down, aiming for Crusher's head. at the same time, Crusher lowered himself as low as possible, and put one foot underneath him, so that he'd have a strong burst of energy when he attacked. as the Spino came down, Crusher forced himself upwards, jaws wide open, and locked them on the Spino's chest. he lifted the Spino off the ground [much to the amazement of all the other predators present, including Hunter], and crushed it's ribs, which made a very painful sounding series of crunches as well as over 20 4 inch wide holes in the flesh, causing a small cascade of blood, then threw it against the ground, crushing it's sail underneath it, and leaving it in a bloody, crippled heap. Crusher snarled "Now you know why you shouldn't underestimate Rexes, and see them as lower beings than yourself. if anything, we are better. good bye, Spinosaur". he then lowered his head down and bit onto the Spino's neck, and jerked it violently, ripping the head off, and throwing it to the ground, then stomping on it. he looked at the rex which was running from it, and found it's eyes were as wide as possible for a rex. it growled "how...how...how did you...do that?". Crusher growled "Bravery, intelligence, and not over estimating myself. i am exactly what i said. Crusher. the most dominant predator on the island. i have been fighting and practicing for over 20 years". the Rex was Surprised, then thanked Crusher and left, hoping that one day, he'd be as capable in a fight as Crusher....
Crusher, Hunter, Exile, Rawhide and Blade continued....searching for more traces of Scar and the mysterious mutant raptor that was with him...
