a tropical storm had hit the island. these particular storms were unusually hard hitting, often bringing up thick layers of mud on exposed ground. Crusher was lucky his small clearing had a thick overhang of trees. his nest remained relatively dry. Meanwhile, Hunter had just finished the patrol. in the mountains north east of the territory, he had spotted movement. it seemed there were several Acrocanthosaurs moving around, patroling the mountains. Hunter made a mental note to let his father know about this. when he arrived at the nest, he saw his mother and father sleeping side by side, close to eachother. Hunter decided it was time they all rested. Rox had got up when he returned, and Hunter had nuzzled Lightning as he walked towards a smaller hole nearby the main nest, which they had taken as theirs. Hunter lay down, and Lightning rested close to him. between them was young Rox, told to rest there by Hunter for safety. the family rested, as lightning lit the sky and thunder rumbled the insides of every living creature on the island. far away, the roar of the ocean pounding against the rocks deafened the coastal creatures, who were trying their best to avoid the open ground, where the mud would slow their pace...
Echo hissed "The Shadowraptors didn't see me with Fatalis. all witnesses are dead. so, i will walk right up there, as risky as it may sound, and act liek a spy. if the Acrocanthosaurs attempt to stop me, i'll deal with them. When Fatalis strikes, i'll be there to dump the blame on the Ultra Raptors. that will have their attention focused on the Ultra Raptors. they'd think that they had lost Fatalis. and when Fatalis DOES get seen in the cave, it'll be night time, meaning it'll be harder to recognize him. he'll move under the guise of his father, moving in, killing a victim, and leaving. the Acrocanthosaurs hunt in the day. their resting time is at night. so they'll be resting wen we strike. the Shadow Raptors will probably have one Acrocanthosaur on guard, but he'll be easy to avoid. and if they stop me when i first enter there, i'll create some story about running through the jungle to escape them, then head for the mountainous caves they will be waiting at, intending to hide out there until the coast was definately clear. they'd be stupid enough to believe it". Fatalis nodded, then growled "As for you coming with us, im afraid the answer is no. Shade will be coming, because he can camouflage almost perfectly. they wont notice him. you, however, will be obvious and it will alert the Shadowraptors that the coast isn't clear. they'll be more alert, and that will make it more difficult for us to follow up with our plan. Goldfang will be coming as a scout for us during the time we attack, to alert us if any outside danger is approaching. while the attack is happening, Amber and Ghost will find us something to eat. Echo will remain within the pack, feeding off their kills, and drinking water nearby. the area up there, from what i have gathered from Echo, is clear of the pollution that is in the other cave. firstly because the cave's water supply is higher there than where the pollution, and secondly because it's a long way from the source of the pollution. that's one of the reasons the Shadowraptors only use it for emergencies."...

"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
