Redtooth was full, so he asked Blood a question to occupy himself. "Well, as long as you're here, I want to know something. Why are you taking care of a baby Deltadromeus anyway?"

the pack was in obvious turmoil. the hatchlings killed, sentries dead, and some missing. Crusher looked into the cave, peaking in with his left eye to see what was going on. he noticed that Rawhide was among the ones missing. he growled. something smelled fishy. why would they take him in particular, and leave all the others? he noticed that Savage had appeared again. he snarled at him angrily. "Didn't I tell you to leave, Savage? I'm already in a bad enough mood without you walking in on my territory when i've already warned you twice. be thankful i've been merciful this long, and go. and hope that this Species related mercy hold out long enough for you to leave the territory". This rex was getting on Crusher's nerves...and it constantly coming back and not listening to his warnings was starting to get annoying. of all predators, the ones who usually understood the meaning of invading another predator's territory without being allowed in the most, were rexes. this one seemed to be an exception...

SharpClaw was thankful that Crusher was here. She ran toward him in distress. "Crusher, Rawhide and RawClaw are missing! What could've happened? Who did this?" She wanted answers now and wanted to look for the creatures who did this. She sniffed the air and smelled...raptors, but from a different pack. It was not their own. Rawhide was amoung the scents. What if they took him captive, along with the hatchling?

Crusher snarled "I...I dont know...but there is a scent there that's very very faint, but slightly familiar. but i cant figure out who it is". he lowered his head, showing his sadness over the loss of RawHide and the hatchling. he was already angry, and seeing his friend grieving over the loss of her youngster made him even more angry, as their children were as close to him as his own. he snarled "We'll find them, and the ones who took them. and then...then they'll pay. i promise you that SharpClaw. they WILL pay. even if i have to pull every source of information availalbe to me to get the names responsible for this, and their place. we WILL find them...".

Crusher broke eye contact with SharpClaw, and stared the Rex right in the face. "What do you want, Savage? if you dont want anything, leave. if you do, tell me and make it quick, before my patience runs out". he growled and puffs of vapour were puffing from his nostrils with every breath. he was still annoyed...

Clawfsit and the pack returned to the cave, releived that the allosaur had left and the eggs were untouched. Softfoot was the most releived, she only had one egg left, DarkFang last son...... After about and hour Clawfist barked "Sandstorm! Could you do a quick patrol of the north section of the territory?" Sandstorm nodded and walked out, he climbed up a tree and got moving, he liked patoling. He constantly met new and intressting things on them...........

Al returend to the cave to see some of the raptors were there. "Uh oh..."

Savage saw the allosaur. It looked nervous and paid no attention to him. Savage went up to Crusher and lowered his head. I return to ask you forgiveness for the past intrusions and would beg for the opportunity to go across the island looking for the evil person who committed this heinous crime..........

Al Actually felt bad for the raptors. He would of hated to have some of his pack dead too.

Blood growled deeply at the female and whipped at her with his tail, though he imtentionally missed. Then the albino turned to the male spinosaur. "I don't really know." Bloodlust looked down at Skye, snorted, and walked off back towards his territory with Skye trailing behind.

Crusher snarled "This problem is none of your business, Savage. i forgive you for now, but if i see you intruding without me letting you in personally, you can expect a very painful expulsion from the territory. now leave". a cloud of vapour came from Crusher's nose after saying this. This Rex was getting annoying. Crusher didn't like wounding others over simple annoyances, but there was a first time for everything, and he had a feeling it would be his first today if Savage didn't stop pestering him like a fly on rotting meat...

Sanage had a shiver run down his spine. With that Savage left. He ws heading soutg, where his nest used to be...

Redtooth growled angrily at Blood. "Coward."

SharpClaw nodded in agreement to Crusher's words. "I personally want to deal with the raptors who took Rawhide and RawClaw away from me though. I will help search for them too." Her anger was starting to come back to her. She will have revenge on the enemy pack.

Meanwhile, Rawhide was watching RawClaw carefully and barking to him softly, trying to put ideas in his head. "RawClaw, you are not safe with your...your mother anymore. In fact, your mother is a danger to you. She will come and kill you...and kill me too." All the little hatchling did was cock his head and give out a questioning chirp to his father's words.

Crusher growled "SharpClaw, i have several allies around the island who are quite well informed about the situations. one of them, Ripper the Raptor, you've met. but there are others, who, while not as old or well informed as Ripper may know more about this than he does. if you wish to come with me, you are welcome. however, if the pack attacks again, your pack could be in need of your skills. if your sure they will be ok, then let me know, and come with me. we have several places to go, and we may be away from the territory for several days". he was calming down now that Savage had left, but he felt the presence of the Allosaur; part of a species that have long had small disputes with him over territory. he prepared himself to chase it out after SharpClaw was finished speaking with the pack. it would be a fairly quick expulsion one way or the other, so SharpClaw needn't worry about being slowed down by it...

As he reached into what was ounce his family's territory, Savage saw dead bodies and bones of the countless herds of herbovores that used to pass through here. The area where his nest was was filled with raptors. Savage flared with anger; This is how crusher felt when I intruded he thought. Savage roared. It was a deep loud long roar that shook a carcass that was mostly bone with alittle meat holding it together and caused it to collapse on a raptor. It Screeched, the bones that fell on him were of a full grown brachiosaur. It died soon after. The raptor pack looked shocked. This was the first time Savge had roared like that and it was his first fight for territory. Some raptors ran for a direct attack. Savage grabbed the raptor that was closest in his jaws and slammed it into another attacker with brute force. Before the rest can try to strike, Savage ran up to the leader of the pack and picked him up in his jaws. He closed his jaws on the all ready panicking raptor and killed it. He shook his head dismembering most of it's limbs creating a more trrifying picture for the rest of the pack. He then threw the body on to a random pack memeber. The raptor that was hit with the body Screeched in terror. When they looked up at Savage, he let out another roar, but it was deeper and louder than before. He had reclaimed his territory. He started on rebuilding his nest

Fishtooth growled, "Forget about it, Redtooth. He's just too much of a softy to fight you." Now full, she looked up and saw that Bloodlust was now gone, and the hatchling gone with him. She hissed, and then looked around. "Damn mosquitoes. They're going to suck out all of my blood one day," Fishtooth hissed.

Redtooth snorted, "Oh please. Like they could pose a threat to any animal raptor-sized or larger."

Fishtooth snorted, "I was being sarcastic." She licked the blood off her claws absent-mindedly, thinking about something. "I wonder what those damn crocodiles are doing," Fishtooth hissed, thinking about the territory that was stolen from her.

Redtooth thought for a moment, then shook his head and snorted, "I wouldn't know. Crocodiles may spend just as much time in the water as I do, but that doesn't mean I know their habits."

Savage went to the eastern part of his territory. There was a water fall that flowed in fresh water and supported a small jungle. To Savage, it was better than the oasis in the center of the island. Looking out he saw a couple of old buildings. Savage went out marking the new territory. He was adding more and more to his teritory. ................
