Drake chuckled, pouring Nyx another drink and saying "Well let's see...i'm an expert marksman, smoke from time to time, though not often, like peace and quiet when i'm stressed, hate most kinds of cheese, love steak, enjoy shooting things when i'm bored, like big blades and like different kinds of music depending on mood. there's very little music i outright DON'T like...mostly just music i don't want to listen to when i'm in a certain mood". he smirked at the end of it, knowing Nyx was a music lover since they got in the car to hunt down Mosrek...

Nyx smiled and giggled. "Then we'll have to keep you entertained here, I'm not sure how Thanatos would take it, if he found bullet holes in the wall," she said and giggled again. She sighed blissfully. "As for me, well I just lie around when I'm bored or I try to make something happen, music for me, almost any type except for classical, that just makes me fall asleep," she said with a smile.

Thanatos was almost done with the song and he was trying to think about another one, when a freak idea flashed in his head! "That's perfect!" he suddenly cried.

"Sometimes the best purpose for classical music IS to put you to sleep" said Drake just as Thanatos creid out. "What's up with him?" he said, looking at Nyx with a raised eyebrow...

Nyx looked at the entrance to the den, also with a raised eyebrow. "I don't know, I think he had an epiphany," she said.

Thanatos slapped a hand over his mouth and then he turned to Dreig sitting on the end chair. He jumped a bit startled. "When did you get here?" he asked just quietly enough for only Dreig to hear...

Drake shrugged, pouring the final glass of Blood-Wine and saying "Want it? or should i have it?"....

[Shade]

"You can have it if you want," Nyx said. "I fear I'll pass out if I have another." She smiled and yawned showing her fangs and then looking at the fireplace. She watched the flames dance their hypnotic dance. Sometimes she lost herself looking at fire, it was such a seductive element.

Drake downed the drink in a single gulp, before looking at the flames. "You know, as a kid, sometimes when i was outside of the cities, in the woods, i'd set up a little fire just for the sake of watching the flames" he said as a tongue of flames flickered on the tip of some of the firewood inside the fireplace...

[Shade]

"Really?" Nyx asked not taking her eyes off the fire. "Haven't you noticed how fire is associated with alot of seductive things?" she asked tipping her head slightly to one side.

[The Kingpin]

"Fire is one of the biggest symbols of romance...it mesmerizes it's viewers, hypnotises them with it's mere presence and movement" he said, a small flame appearing in hus hand as he raised it, blue in colour, swaying smoothly from side to side, rippling and shaking and swerving. "And it symbolises the wildness of one's emotions...it is untamable" he said. as the flames died down, he continued "Just as one's emotions seem to soothe themselves and cool, an event will occur...". the flames flared in his hand as he finished. "and that event would cause those emotions to violently change. from extreme sadness to extreme happiness in a matter of hours. an emotion many would pray for their whole lives to feel" he said, the flames dying out almost instantly in his palm...

If her heart hadn't stopped beating long ago, it would've been pounding like a drum by now. Nyx watched as the flames died in Drake's hand hand then looked up at his face and smiled shyly. "That would be one pick up line that no boy has ever tried on me," she said, blushing at her own cheek.

"Isn't originality wonderful?" said Drake with a smile as his fingers lit up, the flame rolling from his little finger to the index, to the thumb, and relighting on the little finger, going out after going through three times as he reached for Nyx, putting a hand under her chin, smiling at the blushing girl...

[Zephyr]

Dreig opened his eyes and turned his head to Thanatos. Oh...i dont know several minutes at least. he said. Whats up with you, you look like a scared sheep.

[Shade]

Nyx smiled at Drake and inhaled softly to take in his scent. "It most certainly is," she whispered and met his gaze, her golden eyes reflecting the fire...

Thanatos glared at Dreig. "Well, maybe you shouldn't sneak up on other people!" he said, though he knew it was a lame comeback.

Drake looked deep into Nyx's eyes for a moment, mesmerised by the shades of gold. "Your eyes are even more hypnotic than the fire" he said, his tone betraying his lack of concentration on the conversation...

[Shade]

Nyx looked into Drakes eyes as if searching for something. She felt that she had to do something here, but she didn't quite know what. "And I also think that you are amazingly wonderful," she whispered moving slightly closer.

"Amazingly wonderful and wonderfully amazing are two entirely different things" he said, edging closer...

[Shade]

Nyx smiled shyly. "Well, I think that you are both," she whispered. "I never met anyone as wonderful and amazing as you." She reached her hand up to his shoulder and edged a little more closer.

"I try" he said with a smirk as he put an arm around Nyx, edging just a bit closer, almost nose to nose with Nyx...

Nyx smiled and after one last long look in his eyes closed her slowly and her lips met his...

Drake took Nyx in an embrace as their lips met, the numerous stresses plaguing his mind suddenly gone, all thoughts on the various Vampires that he needed to eliminate, all his connections, all his work, forgotten. it was a feeling he hadn't felt before. not with any woman he'd met in his life up till now. he returned the kiss for what felt like an eternity, finally parting, smiling at Nyx warmly, his eyes seeming to shimmer a rich, golden yellow for a few seconds, before reverting to the ice blue colour they always were...
