As soon as Dreig and Ray shouted the lights went off and a Discoball dropped down from the ceiling. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to what I must call 'I can't believe we survived the past few days' celebration!" Thanatos said over the mic. at a turntable in the corner. "Oh no," Nyx and Diana chorused, but they had wide smiles as they looked at the Ballroom, which was decked out not only the discoball, but various colored lights and strobe lights. And then Thanatos turned up the music which was playing Disturbia, by Rihanna...

Oh no is right, Dreig and Ray said as they slapped themselves in the head. Well we cant let all his hard work go to waste can we? Ray asked as he began walking forward.

Drake raised an eyebrow at the situation. when did the mansion get a disco ball? and what was this about not believing they'd survive through the past few days? it was indeed a confusing situation. but he shrugged it off, and headed for the cellar. may as well use his little recipe to it's full purpose since the situation called for it...

Diana started laughing in surprise and Nyx started laughing with glee. They walked over to Thanatos who was still manning all the electronics. "Wow, you definitely pulled out all the stops, Thanatos," Nyx said. Thanatos shrugged and smiled. "Just call it my appreciation to you two for putting up with me," he said. Diana and Nyx smiled at him. "So a dance party, just us?" Diana asked. "Not just a dance party," Thanatos said and dangled a key in front of their faces. Nyx and Diana tilted their heads to the same side and stared at the key. Nyx was the first to react. "No way!!" she said with wide eyes. "How did you find it?" Diana asked. "It was under his mattress," Thanatos explained putting it in his pocket. "Shoot, I learned to pick locks for nothing!" Diana protested. Thanatos started laughing. "Enjoy the celebration ladies," he said and kept turning up the music. "Let's dance!" Diana and Nyx chorused and walked onto the dance floor.

Drake soon came up carrying four bottles in each hand, keeping the necks of them between his fingers as he reached one of the tables, setting them down and heading for the kitchen to retrieve a few glasses, smiling as he saw Nyx and Diana heading for the dancefloor...funny how such an oddly sad start to the day turned into something so cheery...

Dreig, i've gto one thing to ask... are we goign to stand here childishly while the girls dance? Ray siad. Dreig? Ray turned to his left to see Dreig gone and then looked forward again to see his brother walking toward the girls. The kid has guts, Ray said nodding his head to himself. He leaned against the table waiting for Drake to show up with the glasses.

Nyx and Diana were laughing cheerfully and swaying along to the techo-like music when Diana spotted Dreig coming towards them. "Hey, guess who," she whispered to Nyx. Nyx turned her head and started giggling too.

Drake soon walked in with several large wineglasses, putting them on the table and making the mixes. "Anyone who wants to taste the best thing they'll ever drink in their lives, come over to the table!" he called over the music...

Can we dance a little?, Dreig said to Nyx as he approached the two. He swung himself left then right to loosen up before he began making relaxed forward and back swings and finally a combination of the two motions.

I'll take some of that, Ray said to Drake, What is it anyway?

"Special Cocktail of wine and blood" said Drake as he handed a glass to Ray. "the idea came to me when i killed somene while having dinner, but didn't want to waste the wine. turned out tasting really good, so i decided i'd have you guys try it for once". he poured himself a glass and began to sip it, eying Nyx out of the corner of his eye...

Ray took a slight sip, then a bigger sip then a gulp, Oh-ho thats good. he said before looking over at Dreig. He chuckled slightly, He was never the best dancer... but I guess you cant complain if he at least tries.

Nyx smiled and looked at Diana. "Three's a crowd, don't you think?" Diana asked gleefully. "I'll just be over here," she said and walked over to Drake and Ray.

Which left Nyx alone with Dreig. "I'd love to," she said and started to sway to the music.

"ello ello, dreaming beauty. want a drink?" said Drake in his best imitation of a British bartender as he poured another drink for Ray. "Eh, chances are when he's my age he'll be able to dance any way he likes....but then....that'll take a while" he said as he looked over at Dreig with a smirk...

I hope Nyx doesnt get too attached to him, Ray said to Dianna as she neared. I dont know how much he matured since i've been gone, but i've never known love to exist in his heart, i just dont want to see Nyx with a broken heart.

"Cheesey," Diana said to Drake and took one of the glasses. She looked at Dreig and Nyx and smiled. "I swear that girl switches from boyfriend to boyfriend in a heart beat," she said and took a swig. "Mm, this is good stuff, what is it?" she asked turning to Drake again. Then she turned to Ray. "Don't worry about it, she'll be crushed about it one second then move on to the next guy," she said.

"Hm, interesting," Diana said and took another gulp. She looked at Nyx and Dreig again. "I swear that little gift of her's will get her into trouble someday," she said and shook her head.

Nyx looked at Dreig and smiled. "And to think the first time we met you were holding a knife to my throat," she teased.

Diana looked at the boys again. "Are we just going stand idealy here and let those two have all the fun or are we going to dance?" she asked. And as if on cue Thanatos spoke up. "All those huddled in the corner, this is a dance party, the point is to dance!" he said on the mic.

Things happen that can change people, in this case i suppose it was for the best. Dreig said. Than his expression of joy died down a little and his dancing slowed down slightly. Listen... i cant replace Jack, i know that... but i want to at least be like him, for your sake. I cant give you everything that he might've given you if he was stil here but... i just wanted to let you know. He said with a slight shake of his head in dissapointment.
