Thanatos didn't know whether to break into applause or remain silent, but the decision was made for him as Nyx started clapping furiously with a big smile on her face, yet her cheeks were wet with tears. "Brava!" Diana said and started clapping as well. Thinking that he might as well, Thanatos started clapping to. "Skills to match my own," he said. "Play another!" Nyx insisted.

Drake looked around surprised. "I didn't think i was THAT good...but eh. have a particular choice?" he said. if they didn't, he'd play Hotel California. hearing Velkor's request, he looked at the others. "Anyone want anything else? or should i go ahead and start playing?"...

"Sorry, Velkor. Hotel California wins" said Drake as he turned his attention to the keys again. he began to play the song, a soothing tune beginning to play from within the Piano as Drake's fingers drifted along the keys once again...

Nyx sighed softly as the song played. She walked into the Dining Hall and put her elbows on the piano, she rested her head on her hands and watched Drake intently. He does kind of look like Thanatos when he's 'in the moment', she thought. If you looked closely at Nyx's eyes you could've sworn you saw the reflection of fire inside them, glowing soft and warm...

Velkor crossed his arms again, glowering, though he couldn't help but like the music. He gave Nyx a weird look, but didn't bother to ask.

the music was getting very elaborate as Drake accurately repeated the guitar tune on the piano, every note played perfectly as he began inserting his own improvements, slowing the music down slightly as his hands drifted across the keyboard, the very emotion of the song appearing within the tune as Drake played, lost in the music, vaguely noticing Nyx sitting by the table. he gave her a quick glance, smiling before returning to the music, losing himself in the melody again. after he was done, he decided he'd play the song Velkor requested...

Nyx smiled as she heard Drake play. I wouldn't mind hearing him play for the rest of eternity, she thought.

Thanatos checked his watch and smiled as the time was drawing closer to his big surprise. Boy are they going to be surprised, he thought.

Diana's eyes closed as she listened to the sound. She had heard Thanatos play a thousand times. Drake could be mistaken as Thanatos if we were only allowed to hear, she thought bemusedly.

the playing entered the main tune of the song, Drake playing to the lyrics to the point the lead singer of the Eagles could almost be heard singing the tune in your head to the piano music rather than his guitar. as Drake neared the end, he increased the strength of his strokes, giving the strumming effect of guitar playing, through the Piano as he hit the final notes, lifting his hands from the keys as the sustained note came from within the Piano, Drake looking at the others...

Nyx smiled widely. While Diana started whistled excitedly. Thanatos also applauded. "Well, since it's midnight I have surprise for all of you," Thanatos said. The girls squeeled excitedly. "Alright then, if you can make your way to the third I'll be meeting you shortly," Thanatos said. "Ladies you may find something decent for this occasion and I do mean decent," he said staring the girls down. "Alright we will," Diana insisted, but she turned to Nyx and whispered, "not!" They giggled and made their way up to Diana's room...

Drake raised an eyebrow. "I'll be up in a minute" he said, looking at Velkor and saying "Couldn't cheat you of your song". and with that, he began to play the Piano. Siege of Madrigal wasn't very long. he began to play, his hands gentling hitting each key in tune with the song which was playing at that moment in his mind, the beautiful melody ending not long after, but not before Drake added a little Piano solo to it fitting the song, ending the song and standing. "Best not to keep them waiting". and with that, walked out of the room. after he saw whatever this surprise was, he'd make sure to ask Velkor if the song had been satisfactory...

Diana threw clothes left and right searching for the perfect outfits for them. "We have to be smokin'," Nyx said slyly with a devilish grin on her face also nodding her head. "Smokin'?!" Diana asked her eyebrows raised. "That's a step down for you!" "We should be up in flames!" Diana said. "Now you're speaking my language!" Nyx said. "Only thing is do have something that hot?" Diana pulled the drawer out and started shaking out the clothes. They started searching through the pile and then each raised an eyebrow at what they found. "Aaaahhh."

Thanatos started flipping switches left and right. Turning on the lights in the Ballroom, shutting off the discoball and many colored lights, the music was being transfered to his destenation and he flipped through tons of songs until he found one to start the mood with. "Alright then, as soon as the girls are done getting situated I'll show you the surprise!" he called.

Drake wondered what the surprise could be....but then...with Thanatos telling the girls to go change, it wasn't long before a rough idea came to mind. he disappeared, arriving in his room, soon doing what he thought he'd need, and stepping back out. now, he had only a shirt and trousers on, underneath, one of his only choices of swimwear. if he had guessed right, he was ready. if not, he could say he was a bit warmer than usual...

Velkor watched the group disappear, then growled to himself, "And here I am, talking to myself. That's the chaos theory for you. Yes, that was a Jurassic Park quote..."
