"Sounds great. in that case, i'll see you in a few hours. i look forward to seeing the changes" he said, smiling as he turned, heading for the door...

Nyx smiled and wrapped her arms around him before he could leave. "Be careful," she said. "The thought of losing just after I won you is frightening."

Drake smiled, returning the hug. "I don't intend on dying today" he said, giving her a light kiss on the lips, before he left, walking out of the door and into the darkness of the night, the car left at the mansion in case it was needed by the others. he could take care of himself perfectly fine...

Diana stepped out of her room when she heard the entry doors open and close. She walked down to the den where Raksha slept soundly next to the fire. She slumped on the couch and flipped through the television again. Nyx walked down to the den as well and poked her head in to see if anyone was there. "You wanna help me with some errands?" she asked when she saw Diana. Diana looked up and quirked her eyebrow. "It'll be fast I promise," Nyx pleaded. Diana rolled her eyes and got up. "Said errands would be...?" she asked. "I'm getting highlights and a tattoo," she said. "Fast, right," Diana said, crossing her arms. "Fine, but I get to help you pick out your tattoo..."

it was less than an hour before Drake had arrived. a large mansion, possibly twice the size of the one he had just left, stood before him, it's stately appearance only overshadowed by it's rather forboding appearance, it's dark grey stone walls reminescent of a fortress from a former era. deep inside, in an office, sat Alexander Giovanni, the most powerful Vampire in the city at the time, both in personal power, and control, having several parts of the city under his control, his caste dwarving many of the others. his power, wealth and reputation for coldness had earned him many an admirer among the various Vampire 'princes' around the country. his house alone was rumoured to carry anywhere between 25 and 50 Vampiric Guards, an untold number of those being Grunts capable of overpowering a regular Vampire with ease. this would be a very interesting visit...

Once again Van traveled the darkened streets, very near to his destination now. What was strange, was that he was now in one of the most populated areas in the city, before the incidents of course. The entire situation didn't make sense...This person was involved in whatever happened at the warehouse, whose workers were slaughtered, judging by the blood. But even then, the "workers" didn't seem to be normal either...They seemed to have been carrying guns during the incident. The motorcycle slid to a stop in front of what looked like an apartment building. Stepping off the motorcycle, Van growled in annoyance, once again not trusting the looks of this place. Though the other had been empty, he might not be as lucky this time...

Walking up to the door, Van turned the handle and threw the door open, gun drawn, but was greeted with nothing but silence. The ground floor resembled anything but an apartment building, no checkout counter or anything of the sort around the large room. Moving forward, he saw both two elevator doors as well as a staircase. But the staircase went both up and down from this floor, which was slightly strange. Knowing checking the upper rooms would be pointless, Van decided to investigate the lower floor, hoping to find something of interest there. Stepping carefully down the steps, Van found, to his surprise, the bottom floor illuminated by a few lights hanging from the ceiling. Looking around, the area was carpeted for the most part, but near the back it was dirty and destroyed. And, which didn't surprise Van in the least, the floor was covered in blood, and yet no bodies were present. Van began looking around, seeing a few papers thrown all over the ground, most of them torn or...charred, which was even more strange. Picking up a piece of paper, Van brushed away the dirt on it, only able to see the top of the paper, which read "Demon" and "Don't let it win"....

Slightly disturbed by this, Van continued to read, only to find that this paper was being written as the person or people were slaughtered...evidence of this being the pen suddenly making a line in a random direction, until it reached the torn part of the paper. Tossing the paper aside, Van suddenly whirled around, gun pointed a figure near the staircase. "I didn't think you would poke your nose into my business...Seems I should've killed you myself, to avoid this mess..." the figure said, its face once again hidden by the hood, which was a part of what looked like a long hoody-trench coat cross. "I guess I couldn't help myself...After all, you seem to have a very interesting life..." Van growled, gesturing to the bloodied floor. "The expendable being terminated, nothing to make a fuss about...." the figure said calmly, ignoring the fact that Van was pointing the revolver at its head. "I am too busy to deal with you now...no...I don't think you'll die yet...You could be of some use to me..." it said, chuckling, a sound that sent chills up Van's spine. "You are alone now...I doubt your new friend will have the time to get in my way now...I made sure of it..." the figure said, turning and walking up the stairs. Van blinked as it reached the middle of the stairs, and in that instant, the figure was gone.

In its wake, a piece of paper fluttered down to Van's feet, the vampire hunter reluctant to pick it up. Eventually deciding it wasn't a trick, Van picked up the paper and turned it over, seeing only one small bit of writing on it; an address...and a familiar one at that. Drake's mansion...

An hour or so in the salon and Nyx looked like a million bucks. "Don't worry about the tattoo hopefully this one will be quick," she said. "Problem is the parlor is right next to The Dungeon." Diana shrugged. "No problems here, your the one who has the problem," she said. "Says the girl who wakes up every night screaming!" Nyx quipped. "Whatev," Diana said and kept walking...

as Drake approached the building, he saw the first of the guards. there were far too many to get past the regular way. his senses could direct his path, but he had to be wary of risks. the gap seperating him from the house itself was made up of a massive, twisting labyrinth of hedges, surrounding the building which stood high above, casting it's haunting, forboding shadow over the path leading to it's entrance. Drake decided his best bet was to jump shadows, but he'd have to time it perfectly, or else it'd be noticed. his aura vision picked out a guard coming his way, and he swiftly slipped into the shadows of the 8 foot tall hedges. making sure nobody was in the immediate area, Drake waited for the guard to pass, slipping out behind him and draining him dry in one swift move. the blood acted as a stimulant, every sense in him getting that much sharper, to the point he was probably capable of outdoing any animal in any of his senses, including the sense of presence. it took a mere touch of his silver armblade to the head to reduce the body to ash, Drake having moved it into a dark dead end in the labyrinth, so as to avoid being discovered. continuing, he used his now sharpened aura vision to plot a path through the labyrinth, shadow jumping from one place to another, soon finding himself at the massive black and gold marble pillars of the building itself, hiding in the shadow of one of them to avoid being spotted by the guards below. that had been the first obstacle, passed, with minimal casualties...

Diana and Nyx scanned at the various tattoo designs and each giggled at each other's choice. "Hey, how 'bout this one?" Diana asked pointing to a rose stem winding up to the blossom. "Alright, leg or arm?" Nyx asked. "Either one would look good," Diana said. "Okay and we should do something different with the blossom," Nyx insisted. "I know, tiger-stripe it red and black!" "You think outside the box, don't you?" "Alright, I think I'll put it on my arm, then I'll put the Brujah trademark on my stomach," Nyx said to the artist. "You'll get your tattoo, I'm gonna see if the twins are still next door," Diana said and before Nyx could even protest, she was out the door...

Van was speeding along the streets, heading back toward the mansion outside of the city. He would ask to enter...instead of braking in...again, but he didn't know anything about the mansion, or even if it was relevant to his search. Van cursed under his breath at the thought of dealing with the distempered beasts that lived in there, hoping to get the information he needed before getting the hell out...

Drake looked into the building's glass doors, seeing a large main hall, two flights of stairs curving along either side of the room, leading to the upper floor. Drake slipped in, no more than a cloud of shadowy mist, appearing under the balconey of the upper floor. looking out at the garden, now on the other side of the glass doors, he made sure no alarms had been set off. he used his aura vision to examine the building. there didn't seem to be many present on the first floor, but the second floor was crawling with them. Drake leapt, landing on the balconey of the second floor of the main hall. swiftly crossing his arms and slipping them under his now open trenchcoat, he swung them to both sides as two guards in the second floor hallway spotted them. a pair of thin, silver blades penetrated their skulls, the two Vampires falling to the floor in a pile of ash, not a sound made as Drake walked forward down the connecting hallway, pushing open a pair of double doors, entering the main office...

Diana entered the nightclub and smiled as the thumping music filled her ears. She saw no sign of the twins so she headed toward the bar. She ordered tequila again and took a sip. Then something covered her eyes and a silky smooth voice whispered. "Miss me?" Diana grinned at the sound of Vincent's voice. He let go and smiled at her. "Not as much as I could have," Diana responded...

Thanatos sat on the couch stroking Raksha absently and stared at the television screen, everyone was out doing their own thing and he had to stay here, to hold down the fort...

Van swerved the bike, now on the path toward the mansion. Thoughts were running through his head, trying to piece together the situation. He didn't even know what to look for here...His first stop would be if the mansion had a library or a study, with records of demons or anything of the sort. Van tensed as he saw the mansion in the distance...

Dreig walked down the empty street when suddenly he turned into an alley at the soud of faint cheering and voices. He walked down and came to a set of stairs heading down to a metal door and he stepped cautiously down to investigate. The door wasnt locked but as soon as he opened it he was greeted with the scent of smoke, blood, death, and alchohol, as he coughed and covered his face for a moment. He then stepped inside as the cheering became an uproar and a trail of blood splattered to the floor before his feet. He looked up to see a crowd of mixed supernaturals some in their true forms like several demons sitting in a corner smoking while a pair of werewd realizationolves snarled at eachother for the last scraps of meat, and vampires guzzling down mugs of blood and vodka. As he approached the center of the giant room he noticed the people in the crowd waved money about like no tommorow in unison with the cheers. Dreig managed to squeeze his way through the thick of the crowd and reached the center which was designed as a large steel cage and within... a werewolf and demon lunged at eachother exchanging bloody blows. He lifted his head in a sort of proud realization... They're gambling. He said as the wolf's arm was suddenly torn off and used as a club to kill the beast. The crowd cheered uproariously as gamblers exchanged their winnings and the next fight was preparing.

"Oh.....Drake Romero....what a pleasant surprise" came the smooth voice of the 'Prince' of New York. the brown haired, pale skinned man stared at Drake from behind his desk, watching interestedly as the Vampire Hunter approached. "Last i heard, you were dead" said the Vampire. "As far as you're conscerned, i am" said Drake, his icy blue eyes staring at him coldly. "I take it you've heard about Siete's grand plan for a take over of the Castes? yours included?" he said. "Yes. i honestly wish him luck...it'll take alot more than a mere Manipulator to take over the Castes. he's sneaky and a backstabber, but he can't use much of his abilities to his advantage against a fair number of the Castes. not to mention the top three Vampire Lords all working on minimising the amount of potential trouble. chances are Siete's already on their list of nuisances" said the Vampire. "That much, i've guessed. What i want to know is, where is Siete?" said Drake. "Finding Siete is like finding a ghost. you can't find him unless he wants to be found" said the Vampire with a smirk. "Last i had gathered, he had made a visit to a club called The Dungeon a few weeks ago. how long he stayed and whether or not he talked to anyone, i don't know. there have been rumours of him making deals with various Caste leaders though. who, i can't say. but i can guess at least, a few names that may have a connection to him" he added. "And?" said Drake, waiting. "Anastasia Rubinov in the Theatre Noir. several streets from The Dungeon". "I see...nothing else?" said Drake. the Vampire grunted, shaking his head, though Drake could tell he was lying. "Very well then" said Drake, turning around for the door. he heard a click, knowing he was about to be shot. a book on the desk exploded violently into flames, the Vampire leaping back, the gun dropping from his hand as Drake spun around, a knife hitting the Vampire Lord's hand, impaling it and nailing him to the wall by the window. Drake walked over, pulling the curtains away from the massive window, tearing them off and dumping them on the other side of the room. tearing a large chunk off, he rolled it up, and used it to gag the Vampire, the cloth too large to allow the Vampire to spit it out. "It was pleasant meeting you. i hope you enjoy seeing sunlight again before you die" said Drake, before turning and leaving the room, the muffled voice of the Prince too low to be heard. and before long, the mansion itself was lifeless, Drake killing them all off, one at a time, so silent none of them discovered his infiltration until it was too late. he walked back out, into the garden, wary of the patrols, before leaving the shadowy, imposing building behind, a scene of death in his wake...

A red Superbike whizzed towards the town at high speed, the two rider's helmets reflecting the moon light.... Fitz was driving, as usual. He was wearing a black helmet with a blue tinted visor, same as Trix behind him... Both of them were wearing ordinary clothes under their usuall gear. Fitz leaned back a bit and asked "We're here... So where we headed again?"

Trix shouted back in answer "Some local Dive called The Dungeon... Gotta find some chic named Nyx and she should be able to point us after Rovanto... Then its a simple matter of following the trail..." Fitz paused before asking "Any idea on who this Nyx person is?" Trix managed a shrug and replied "Nope, other than that she is basicly the head honcho of the local vamps... Bunch of gang bangers, nothing any bit serious... But watch what you say, chances are they've got egos bigger than their brains..."

Van's motorcycle slid to a stop outside of the mansion's front steps, the vampire hunter dismounting from the vehicle before heading to the door. Once again his thoughts drifted to the residents...things could go either very easily, or very badly. If Drake answered the door, all would be well. If that distempered werewolf opened the door, he might have a fight on his hands. Growling something under his breath, Van pressed the doorbell, feeling slightly ashamed that he was using the door, which was a rare form of entry for him...

Thanatos could smell him before he even entered through the door, but he remained nonchalant and continued to stare at the screen...

Nyx walked out of the parlor and walked into The Dungeon already dreading what she would find. She heard Vincent's voice ring out through the whole club. "Is it Karoke night already?" she asked herself. She saw Vincent on the stage singing something by Jesse Mccartney, by the sound of the rythem. BUt his attention wasn't on the song, his eyes were glued to a specific point in the crowd. She sighed exasperatedly, when she saw Diana looking at him just as adoringly as he was at her!

Drake soon arrived at the entrance to the Theatre Noir. walking forward, he entered the building. a nightclub. loud music beated loudly on the massive sound systems as DJs above worked on the tunes, while Vampires below danced in the multi-coloured lights, several more at the bar, which, naturally, was surving wine glasses and bar mugs of variously aged blood. he spotted an exit at the back of the room, double doored, black rectangles with circular, opaque windows, behind which lay a red room. Drake headed for it, stopping at the door, two Guards blocking his path. "This is a private room" said one. "You can step aside and let me talk to Anastasia or you can scare off all her customers in the commotion that follows your refusal" said Drake. the two guards looked at eachother, and stepped aside, letting Drake in, the red room having a white floor, all the furniture made of black leather, a woman and two men inside...

Anastasia looked up as someone entered. She looked suspiciously at Drake at first, but she waved away the men who started to get protective. "Drake Romero, I've been hearing quite alot about you lately," she said as she unfolded an english fan and put it in front of her face, but not enough to block her piercing eyes...
