"Is there a quick ay to Mike's room? Maybe we can beat that thing there," hissed Velkor, who was walking behind Drake down the hall.

[The Kingpin]

"Only one way there" said Drake as he walked towards the Living Quarters of the complex. Mike's room was on the floor below this one, very close to the stairs, which were around the corner from where they were now...

"Then I guess Mike's going to have to handle it himself," replied Velkor flatly.

The Nightmare dropped from the ceiling, next to Mike's bed. Without hesitation, it disappeared into his mind...

"Let's hurry before it does anymore damage," Diana said. Nyx nodded and followed after Drake. Diana lifted her nose and sniffed the air absently. "That thing smells disgusting," she said and plugged her nose. "That's a smell I'll never forget."

Velkor shrugged and started singing quietly to himself:

The Nightmare looked around Mike's mind, trying to find the perfect disguise for the situation before deciding to reveal itself...

Nyx rose her eyebrow at the song, but said nothing. "Where'd you get that song from?" Diana asked. "Some demons who're trying to pass off as a human band?"

"Voltaire," replied Velkor. "If you listen to his music, you'd swear he WAS a Demon. An awesome one, though, unlike Mr. Smokey here or those two big ones from before."

[Shade]

Diana rolled her eyes. "I listen to more entertaining bands, I'm afraid," she said. "Yeah, people you could've sworn were vampires!" Thanatos said. "Shut up!" Diana growled. "What was that band called again, oh yeah Evanescence!?" he continued. "Get away from me!" Diana said and shoved Thanatos in the chest.

"Now now, Thanatos, Evanescence is a pretty good band." He nudged him with an elbow. "Admit it; Amy Lee's got it goin' on, eh?" He snickered.

[Shade]

Thanatos chuckled. "You want a piece of this, ugly?!" Diana snarled at Velkor. "Break it up you three," Nyx said. "We're not here to poke fun at our music selections." "Oh yeah and let's not forget your Simple Plan stage," Thanatos kept on teasing.

"Simple Plan?" Velkor nearly burst out laughing. "For shame, Nyx. For shame..."

[Shade]

"Oh and you girls had such a blast with-!" Thanatos said. "Don't you dare!" Diana growled pointing her finger menacingly at him. "Bouncing off the walls to-!" he continued. "If you say it I swear...!" Nyx threatened. "BRITTANY SPEARS!!" he finished and was rewarded with a fist in the face!

Velkor finally broke out into laughter, collapsing against the wall for support. Between laughs, he managed to say, "It doesn't... *snicker* get much better than that!

[Shade]

Diana growled at Thanatos as soon as he was knocked against the wall, his lip bleeding. "You want a piece of this, demon boy?!" Diana breathed through gritted teeth. Nyx was silently fuming and staring wide-eyed at Thanatos with a face that looked like she was going to explode!

It took a moment to regain his composure, but Velkor eventually managed to straighten and hiss, surprisingly seriously, "Try me."

[Shade]

"Bring it on, ugly!!" Diana said and started toward him. "Alright, I think I might've gone a little too far," Thanatos said stepping between them. "Ya think!" Nyx said and shook her head. "I was about ready to hit both of you!"

"Aw, come on, let her take a swing," growled Velkor. "I do deserve it, after all," he added with a snicker.

[Shade]

Diana growled and pushed against Thanatos, who, stubbornly held out an arm to stop her, but not before she did take a swing and smacked Velkor!

Velkor caught the arm that swung at him inches from his face, which had an unwavering smile. He lifted the arm and, at the same time, Diana. Hanging her a couple of inches off the floor, Velkor pleasantly hissed, "Learned your lesson?"

[Shade]

Diana growled then smiled mischieviously. Her foot suddenly came up and slammed onto Velkor's face which caused him to drop her. "Nope," she said with a smile.
