"Nonononononononono!" The Nightmare hissed, before vanishing from her presence, but did not appear in the real world. Only a small wisp of smoke emerged from her forehead, and floated around Nyx and Thanatos, before disappearing.

[The Kingpin]

"Ugh...i missed it didn't i?" said Spencer nonchalantly as he leaned against a wall. He had left during the would-be argument Diana had had with Drake, taking care of a couple things and coming back at the sound of screams. Drake turned the corner on the stairwell, looking down at them, eyebrows raised in mild interest. "Did you get it Spencer?" he said. "Nope. missed it apparently"

Velkor came around the corner as well, hissing, "Now what?"

Diana looked up at Thanatos and Nyx and then looked back down. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "Hey we know you don't mean those things you say," Nyx said. "But I should've never said them, I'm so sorry," she said. Thanatos reached out his hand to her. "No matter which way you choose to go, we'll be there, you can't get rid of us so easily," he said with a grin. Diana smiled and let Thanatos pull her up.

Drake sighed irritably. although it was good that it was out of Diana, they once again were left with no clues as to where the target went, or whether it might've been killed, however unlikely as it was. "I say it's time we all had something to drink, and calmed down". it was getting late. he guessed the others were probably starting to get tired. he began thinking on what options were available to him regarding the Demon...

Velkor raised his hand. "I second that! Where's the bar?"

[Shade]

Nyx snorted and shook her head. "All though I could do without Velkor," Diana whispered. "Join the club," Thanatos whispered back. "And perhaps a private bedroom for two?" Nyx asked walking up to Drake and wrapping her arms around his waist.

"You do know I can hear you ***holes, right?" Velkor growled angrily to Thanatos and Diana.

[Shade]

"Takes one to know one, bud," Thanatos replied. Diana chuckled then shrugged apoligetically.

After a short pause, Velkor smirked. "Touche," he hissed.

[The Kingpin]

"As much as i'd like to agree to the room....i think it'd be safer for all of us to stick to one room for now. that way if it turns out one of us is acting as a walking playground for our little Demon friend, someone's around to help deal with it" said Drake. Spencer raised a curious eyebrow at Nyx's comment. hers and Drake's attitudes had hinted they were close, but he didn't think they were THAT close. still, Drake had a point. risking seperation meant less backup if something were to happen...

Nyx pouted for a second then sighed. "I guess you're right," she said. Thanatos and Diana smiled at her. "Shoot we could've gotten rid of them too," Thanatos jibed. Diana giggled and covered her mouth. "We're kidding Nyx, ya know we love you," she said. "And you'd be lost without me," Nyx added. "Now let's not get away with ourselves, shall we?" Thanatos said. Nyx smiled good-humoredly, but said nothing.

Drake chuckled and led the group for a cafeteria, which seemed more of an all you can eat buffet, with several options for Drinks, some typical, and some not so much. for now, Drake went for the typical drink. a cola. Dhampirs had no trouble consuming regular food and drink, unlike some supernaturals. he wondered whether Nyx had really experimented with having normal food for once. he ssumed she knew it was safe for her to eat and drink regular food now, but still, the thought seemed to pick at the back of his mind every now and then...

Nyx looked at the buffet and just settled for an apple. While Thanatos and Diana reached for the alcohol products. Nyx shook her head and kept on walking next to Drake. "You not hungry?" she asked.

[The Kingpin]

"Not so much that i HAVE to eat. all i really want is to be able to get rid of this Demon so we don't have so much trouble to think about. Seite's still out there and free to do what he likes, and we have at least two groups of Demons after us, not counting the Nightmare that's harrassing us now" he said as he collapsed into a small loveseat in front of a coffee table, laying back and yawning, his fangs glinting for a moment as they were temporarily revealed...

Nyx sat on the edge and took a bite out of the apple. "You're telling me, we're up to our necks in trouble," she said. She let her own fangs show as she took another bite. Suddenly her eyebrows furrowed. "What do you think of Diana's dreams?" she asked.

[The Kingpin]

"Siete's knee deep in them. that, i can almost assure you. chances are, he's the reason she's so tempermental lately. he's tampering with her mind and trying to turn her on us; hence him claiming her as his 'weapon'....harrass her in such a way she attacks a target he wants taken care of...and Diana eventually relents. now, if you were to take into account the Demon's attempts to sway her as well, you've got a rather big problem. all that needs to happen is for Siete and the Demon to BOTH taunt her into targetting the same thing, and you have a fight or even a murder situation on your hands. I'm hoping i won't be forced to fight her...i don't want to hurt her if i can avoid it, but if one of us is threatened, i'll be left with no choice" said Drake with a sigh as he took a sip from his glass of cola...

Nyx nodded. "What about the ones of the man and woman?" she asked. "And the locket, that's supposedly her's, with same people inside it?"

"Well, though i don't like to do too much guessing without some more solid evidence first, what it's all hinting to is that they're her parents. if Siete knows about them, he MAY try and use them to strengthen his grip on Diana...perhaps by manifesting some kind of fabricated fond memories of them in her mind, basically making her remember a past that never was...maybe inject himself into those memories, or one of us, in such a way that we'd appear to be enemies. though that's all guessing based on the kind of thing his Sire was into" said Drake...

Nyx furrowed her brow further and started to rub her mouth. "I think it's more than that, what about the red dream, all that pain, how did she describe it? Lava instead of blood and the scream that wasn't her's?"
