Thanatos looked up the stairs and raised an eyebrow. "What's going on up there?!" he called at the foot of the stairs. "Seriously, we can hear you all the way down here!" Nyx added.

[dinoman666]

Wisp shouted before Velkor could say anything, "Ah, shaddap! We're busy!"

[Shade]

Nyx and Thanatos looked at each other with curious looks. "I ask again, what is going on!?" Thanatos asked, now climbing up the stairs.

[dinoman666]

Velkor sighed and waved a hand at Wisp, who grinned and disappeared through the floor...

As Thanatos climbed the stairs, a ghostlike form of Wisp flew out of the ground and right through him. Yellow eyes shining brightly, she asked cheerfully, "Hi there! Who're you?" A second ghost appeared behind Thanatos, this one angry. "Well?" she demanded. "Answer her already!"

Gunther turned his head to the side, observing the arguing Humans for a while. He turned back to Drake. "Yeah so.... That's why I'm here Sir."

[Shade]

Thanatos' eyes darted to each ghost before he regained his composure. "Thanatos and you are?" he asked pointing to both of them.

[dinoman666]

"We're Wisp!" The two said in unison, with different tones. A third, pink-eyed ghost emerged from the ground and hugged Thanatos. "You're soooooooo kyoot!"

[Shade]

"Umm, thank you?" Thanatos said, gentley trying to pry the ghost's arms off of him. "What's all this?" Nyx asked when she had to see what the hold-up was.

The angry Wisp ghost spun around to Nyx, growling, "What do you want?!"

[Shade]

Nyx raised an eyebrow at Wisp. "I want to know who you are, what you're doing, and why one of you is clinging onto Thanatos, of all boys?" Nyx said.

[dinoman666]

"Cuz he's cute, that's why!" the pink-eyed Wisp crooned, stuck to Thanatos like a limpet. Velkor was leaning against the doorframe, laughing his head off at the scene.

Gunther shook his head, rubbing his horns. I don't even know what a girl like that is going to want me to do...

[Shade]

Thanatos' cheeks turned a shade of pink, but he started to get more insistent and started to use more strength in prying her off. Nyx growled softly in her throat, then ran full vampire speed up the rest of the stairs and straight to Velkor. "Not cool!" she growled and rammed him against the wall.

Thanatos suddenly toppled forward, falling straight through Wisp's arms. The three ghosts had flown back together into one, laughing hysterically.

Velkor smirked, unfazed. "You people can't take a joke, can you?" Wisp snapped her fingers, and the Nightmare appeared in a flash of smoke, staring at Nyx and hissing...

Gunther had heard of and recognized the Nightmare, and immediately jumped up, pointing the Revolver at it.

Wisp shouted, "Don't shoot it mister goat person! He's our buddy now!"

[Shade]

Nyx stepped back and hissed. "It's no friend of mine!" she snarled. "You endangered my friend and blood sister!" Thanatos also started to growl menacingly. "So you were the culprit who was messing with Di's mind," he growled.

"Now let me explain," hissed Velkor defensively. "Wisp did not try to kill Diana. She had been controlling the Nightmare to keep an eye on me, apparently. But what she forgot," he added for forcefully, giving Wisp a cold stare, "Was that Nightmares are creatures primarily of mental energy, making it nearly impossible to control without difficulty. It's no surprise she had temporarily lost control." Wisp looked down at the ground sadly, all trace of cheerfulness gone, eyes turning blue once more.

Thanatos still had a defensive stance and so did Nyx. "Then why did you let her come along?" she asked. "When she can't even keep an eye on her pet?" Thanatos just kept glaring at Wisp.

Velkor's hand was suddenly at Nyx's throat, his eyes burning furiously as he lifted her in the air. "You gonna shut your mouth, or let me explain myself?" he hissed in a dangerous tone. Wisp whispered to the Nightmare, "Ooooooh, she's in trouble!"
