Diana rolled weakly away from the shadow balls, each one narrowly missing her. She hissed as soon as she caught her breath and charged at the Nightmare. "Get out!!" she cried as she leapt onto it again and dug her knee supposedly where it's kidneys would be.

Hissing, the nightmare staggered backwards, doubled over, but then suddenly lunged forward, slashing its claws at Diana's unprotected stomach.

Diana hissed in pain and doubled over, but she quickly regained herself and leapt at the Nightmare again. Her own wolf claws extended, she sliced the Nightmare's face and she kicked it in the stomach, knocking out it's breath.

The Nightmare's "breath" was released from its wounds, the blue smoke spurting out in a high-pressure jet of choking gas, straight at Diana. As the cloud surrounded her, the Nightmare turned and scampered away, towards a run-down house that had appeared, seemingly out of nowhere...

Diana coughed hard, but as soon as the smoke cleared, she chased after the Nightmare. "Show yourself, coward!" she called when she entered the house.

As soon as Diana entered the house, the door shut behind her, revealing nothing but a giant maze of mirrors, which twisted every which way. Blueish fog covered the floor, obscuring everything below Diana's knees. A white flash went past the mirrors, and the nightmare disappeared around the corner, its hisses echoing throughout the house...

Diana kept chasing after the Nightmare. Following her nose instead of her eyes. "You can't run from me, this is my head!" she called, then stopped dead. "Of course..." she thought aloud. Then she started to think and the walls around her disappeared and a blinding light encased everything.

Gunther's smile dropped. "Because there Evil Mistress and they want and need the Currency. Trade, Money, Powers... They'll higher us out for anything. I mean, as it says I'm free. Basically you were just rather lucky. But yes, I have to do what you say... Basically until you're dead or they think I've 'done enough.'"

Gunther sighed, and took another puff. He held it out to Wisp. "... Want a drag?"

The light suddenly shattered, reforming into a hall of mirrors once more. An echoing voice hissed, "Fool... This is MY nightmare..." However, the end of the hall still had a light, and a pair of cold blue eyes watched from there, glaring hatefully at Diana.

Wisp wrinkled her nose at the smoke. "Eeeeeeeeew... why do you suck on that thing?"

Gunther shrugged and flicked it in a nearby Trash can. It was out. "I just like the way they taste. So umm... I have to help you... What do you like to do Mistress? Fight? Steal? Cause trouble? I changed my mind... I'm not sleepy anymore."

Diana hissed. "What do you want from me!?" she growled. She slowly advanced on the Nightmare, it seemed the only way to get her mind back was to defeat this thing.

Nyx sat up as she heard the scuffling as well. "Oh dear," she said. "I hope she's alright."

"They... taste like something?" Wisp shook her head. "Well, um, I like playing pranks..." She snapped her fingers, eyes turning yellow. "Maybe we can prank everyone!"

The Nightmare hissed, "I don't want anything FROM you... I want you yourself... To be my next prey..." The eyes turned away, the Demon disappearing into the light...

There was a chuckle, and the Nightmare hissed, "So you say..." Diana had emerged into a circular room, the walls made completely of mirrors. Before she could turn to leave, a final mirror slid up out of the misty ground, blocking the exit. In its reflection was the Nightmare, as was suddenly every other mirror in the room. "Which is the real me? Go ahead and find out, if you wish to defeat me..."

Diana snarled hatefully, but calmed down and centered her senses in finding the real Nightmare. She turned in a complete circle sniffing each image of it. Then she listened hard for something to give it away, a heartbeat or even breathing. But then she turned into her wolf form, sucked in a huge lung full of air and howled, breaking every mirror until she found the real one and leapt teeth bared.

Every mirror shattered, and there was a copy of the Nightmare behind every one. With hissing screeches, the Nightmares leaped at Diana, dogpiling her and ripping at her fur with sharp talons.

Dalvengyr lifted his leg, dodging the blade while also slamming his foot down on the man's hand, forcing him to drop the weapon, slamming the hilt of his sword across the man's face, sending him sprawling to the side, the demon kicking the weapon the man had been holding into a street drain...

Diana bit and tore at each Nightmare and flung them away. Her eyes glittered and her teeth shined. "Come on, give me your best shot!" she howled.

The Nightmares scattered, most of them disappearing into smoke. One remained, watching Diana from a short distance away. After a moment, it began growing, skin splitting apart to reveal a massive cobra, which hissed, "I will not be denied my prize!" It struck forward, lightening fast, at Diana.

"I'm afraid, you will have to get used to disappointment," Diana snarled and dodged the blow and swiped at the cobra's head. "You think I'm scared of snakes?!" she yelped at it.
