[The Kingpin]

Nightclaw listened from the shadows quietly, deciding it'd be wise to hear more of the two elder warriors' conversation before making his presence known. Firestreak.....he had heard the name before, and thought he may have met him once or twice as a kit...perhaps his father would remember meeting the warrior...or rogue...or whatever...

"I actually agree there" Snowstar mewed. "Even in the hardships of the past, the clans shouldn't have fell apart like that. The clan was too busy obsessing with a kit with a strange name. Fireflower was spewing mouse dung all over the warrior code- it's a wonder how I put up with it as deputy. They are gone now though. They got exiled. Coldeyes- you remember Coldeyes?- knocked out Demontalon and threw rotton food at Fireflower as she left clan. It was then the clan collectivly told him to fix his temper or he too gets exiled.."

"And now the clan is ruled by two leaders, including a rogue and a grown cat that acts like a kit." Firestreak retorted, silently glad that Demontalon and Fireflower got what they deserved. "And yes, I remember this 'Coldeyes'...he constantly got into the cat mint, and, from what you just told me, has a tendency to assault his clan mates. Such a good choice for deputy." the scarred rogue continued, smirking at the white cat below.

"There's been only two times I acted like a kit Firestreak. That's when I found my brother who I thought was dead, and when we had a quick play fight which ended up with us falling onto the frozen lake. You left the clan before you could see the strides I made as a warrior. And yes...Coldeyes did have a tendacy for violence, but he was probablly the best fighter out of the few survivors we had" Snowstar mewed

"Don't forget a tendency for using drugs and acting like an idiot." Firestreak growled calmly, still smirking. "The clan has lost its way of life, and you will run it into the ground just as Firestar did..." he continued, tail swinging casually...

[C S]

"Has being a loner really turned the great Firestreak into a spring of negativity? The cat I knew would've done everything in his power to save the clan" Snowstar growled, taken aback at the cat. "You've changed a lot.."

[Shade]

Sunclaw and Stormheart listened as well. Sunclaw didn't much like the way they were talking about fellow warriors like that. "Should we see what's up?" Stormheart asked. Sunclaw shook her head slowly, she didn't like the way talked, didn't like it one bit...

[TyrannoTitan]

"Save a forsaken clan? No one upheld the old code of the clans, so what was the point? I tried to convince Firestar and her ilk to reinforce the old code, and I was insulted and told off by all I spoke to, all because their precious leader wanted to have kits." Firestreak snarled in response, taking little actual notice to the white cat's words.

[C S]

"The code IS being upheld, Firestreak. The only thing that has changed is the name of the clan and those in it. Thunderclan and Shadowclan may have warred in the past but it's time we put those differences aside for survival. A shecat leader cant have kits, you cant have a mate from a rival clan-Those basic rules and more are alive and well" Snowstar hissed

"I have yet to see evidence of any upholding of the old code...who is to say you won't change the code to suit your own needs, like Firestar before you? At heart, your 'co-leader' is just a rogue, like myself...he would be more likely to bend the rules to his advantage. And I don't think I need to say anything more about your...deputy." Firestreak growled, almost spitting the word 'deputy'...

"Im not a prophet Firestreak" Snowstar snarled. "But I'll damn swear that Ill uphold the code and protect the clan no matter what. Wraith may be a rougue but he's probablly one of the most sensible cat I've seen for a while! He represents his clan as I represent mine, any decsision I dont agree with wont get to see the light of day"

[TyrannoTitan]

"How...touching. I remain unconvinced." Firestreak stated simply, once again smirking. "This debate bores me. Are you going to run me out with the cats eavesdropping behind you, or would you like me to leave?" the scarred rogue growled, glancing briefly behind Snowstar...

[C S]

"You are a rogue and on our boarder, thus a threat. I am going to ask you to leave, but im not afreaid to use force if nessesary.." Snowstar growled. He couldnt make up his mind, the cat was Thunderclan's oldest warrior, how could he force him to leave? But then again, the cat was a rogue. It had to be done

[TyrannoTitan]

"Once again, how...polite of you. Such actions will be the death of you...its kill or be killed, what kind of leader gives their enemy a choice?" Firestreak growled, chuckling darkly. The gray tom stood on the branch, as if ready to spring at the white cat below, but instead stood still once more, staring blankly...

[C S]

"And what leader would I be if I dont show respect to an elder? I wish you well Firestreak. May you find contentment with your existance" Snowstar mewed.

[TyrannoTitan]

"Elder?! I can wipe the floor with your finest warriors, kit! That includes you!" Firestreak snarled, enraged once again by the term the Stormclan leader used. "Your clan is pathetic and weak. Ever since the clan began giving special treatment to their misfits, they have been making soft warriors...its amazing you and your clan have survived this long." the scarred rogue continued, purposely trying to antagonize Snowstar...

[C S]

"The only one that we've made special adjustments for was Demontalon, and I was heavilly opposed to it. I was deputy, but unlike you, I was docile- a mistake I regret heavilly, and one I dont intend to make again" Snowstar growled. "And if you are so certain you can defeat any cat you face, why dont you fight me now?"

[TyrannoTitan]

"The odds are not in my favor, fool. Why would I attack the glorious leader of Stormclan, only to be struck down by the small force that are not too far away?" Firestreak snarled, laughing at what he believed was the cat's poor attempt to trap him in a situation he couldn't win.

"And what if I was to order them to stay back? They would honor the code as to heed that rather than jump in to assist" Snowstar snarled. "The leader's word is law" He spat. "Why dont you come down Firestreak? Come play a while"

[TyrannoTitan]

"...And after you are inches from death, your clan mates rush in to finish me off after you are incapacitated? Do you take me for a fool?" Firestreak growled, almost laughing at the cat's foolish attempts to trick him, yet again.
