The warship's dovin basals activated, safely sucking the missiles into nothingness. The ship continued firing, easily ripping through its dead brother's coral hull, almost able to target the JR-10...

The spy drone's magnetic treads kept it in place, while it pushed its body further in, using its small laser to cut the "head" off the taser, disarming its opponent. Moving further in, the machine stretched its top half from its anchored bottom, tasing random parts of the craft in an attempt to disable it, while a few tendrils probed the area for any kind of memory storage...

The drone suddenly, after releasing the last stream of information it had collected, detonated in a small ball of fire, vaporizing the spy drone hiding within with ease, but destroying the machine as well...

With the spy drone gone, another was en route to the location to continue the observations, the previous machine having recorded its fight with the disc-like craft, their superiors now aware of another faction invading on their expertise...

"There tens of thousands of Vong Ships. I've faced thousands before but not like this. It sounds to simple...to easy...Their Overlord...what is he up too" Revan simply thought, keeping his thoughts to himself. His face remained hidden was usual. The Dark Lord of the Sith waited patiently, curious on the plan but remained doubtful but his plan had mixed results. The Imperial Fleet above however suddenly detected some action that was going on in Trandosha.
"Sir...it's a battle..." Piett reported in quietly too the comlink in Revan's helmet.
The Sith narrowed his eyes...it wasnt any of theirs, he was sure of it. But it seems some other random fraction had stepped up. The Empress of the Empire detected the confusion in the man besides her and soon, she took notice of the battle. Investigation was a possibility but this was throwing their plan of completely.

OOC: It still doesn't make much sense The Tortoise isn't moving, it simply stopped in place, and the ships at Trandosha would behind the ones already chasing the Longbow/Jr-10. Also, how can the coral hull brush off armour piercing shells but then leave plasma through it easily?

The Jr-10 pulsed its thrusters, decending until it could aim below the dead ship, firing a long burst of its auto cannon towards the enemy ship before trying to pop back up into cover.

OOC: Is that better. Sorry, but your ships' locations are kind of confusing.
And the plasma is essentially molten rock. Its main advantage is that it can penetrate most types of armor with ease, and that's not just limited to metal. It can burn coral away just as quickly, and the warship doesn't have any shields to protect it.

The warship, its coral hull chipped and scratched, but otherwise undamaged, slipped up and over the dead ship, coming down at the JR-10 from above and behind, sending a few chunks of plasma towards it...

[The Kingpin]

as Serephir prepared to leave to organise operations for the attack, a communication came on his gauntlet computer. "What is it, Admiral?" he asked. "Sir, we're picking up readings that combat has resumed in Trandoshan airspace. it's the Vong, against an unknown force, presumably military judging by the weaponry they're geared with. it's a small squadron of one large craft, seemingly unarmed, and two smaller, relatively heavily armed craft. but it appears the Vong have gone on alert" came the Admiral's response. Serephir looked back at the other Generals in the room, looking back at the gauntlet computer and the Admiral. "Very well. thank you for informing me, Admiral. you may leave. inform me of any developments as soon as they occur" said Serephir, closing the gauntlet's screen and latching it back to the rest of the gauntlet, a light lining the edge as it sealed itself once more. Serephir looked at the others. "Please tell me none of you are in charge of that attack" he said, his hawk-like glare falling upon everyone else in the room. this may have compromised the entire plan...

OOC: yeah it is, sorry about that. To begin with, the tortoise and its forces were above a random star watching Geonosis. The Long bow went forward and attacked them. Then the Vong approached them, so the Long bow continued shooting and A jr-10 flew after it to support it, then the Tortoise and the others begun retreating. More recently, the Tortoise and its escorts stopped in place to face the approaching Vong.

The Jr-10 took the rounds, being blown backwards, a hole opening in the back of its shield, facing away from the alien warship. The Jr-10 fired a second round from its gpc, the huge ball of plasma and gamma rays swirling towards the the vong ship, about to crash into its underside....

One of the warship's ventral dovin basals absorbed the GPC shot, and the ship continued firing upon the JR-10 hardly stopping its attack run, though most of its plasma cannons were on its back, leaving only a few dozen of the weapons to target the smaller ship.

Grievous shook his head. "I've been receiving the information too. Those ships are similar, if not the same, as the ones that assisted the Empire in their attack on Trandosha a while back." He glared at Revan. "Last time I checked, however, they, or at least some of them, had quitted that little alliance..."

One of the shots got through and slammed into the base of one of the Jr-10's arms, cleaving right through the armour. An explosion burst out of the joint, the Jr-10 spiralling away, one of its ion cannons tumbling away.

It fired another round of its proton rifle into the vong warship, desperately trying to do at least some damage, arming another round of missiles. It had two seismic charges left, but it needed to over power the enemy's shields before it could risk using them...

The Tortoise pulled back as the long bow that was with it begun firing, covering its brother from the warships pursuing it... The aliens were entering the ambush zone, where the volley of shells fired by the Swarm before they entered hyperspace had been aimed at.

Another spy drone floated around the planet, observing the situation with no notice of its predecessor's demise. Meanwhile, a thin form zoomed through the battlefield, traveling at nearby blinding speeds, the dismembered ion cannon disappearing in the process. The wasp-like machine, carrying the cannon in its many limbs, zipped out of the battlefield, being relatively defenseless, instead relying on speed alone to get protect itself. The cannon was carried away from the battle within a few moments...

Revan looked around as the others were already ready to point fingers. The Sith remained calm, knowing he has nothing to do with it "The thing is, If I wanted to take Trandosha for myself, I rather be there to personally lead the fleet itself. I would never let any allies, no matter how strong they are, attack the Vong alone. Especially with that fleet guarding the Overlord and the planet itself. Thus said...I have no knowledge with the current situation above your precious planet...I already lost enough good men in one day" Revan stated in response. He wanted the men to take a brief break from such a battle. The Annihilator and the other ships still were damaged and the crews must have all rejoiced to realize they all made it out alive.

The proton shot was again absorbed by the warship's dovin basals, still pounding the JR-10, slowly tearing it to pieces with the heavy bombardment...

The Vong fleet slowed to a sufficient firing distance, dovin basals at the ready, absorbing shots every once in awhile, firing back inexorably. They sent a wave of Grutchins of several sizes towards the enemy ships, the insectoid bio-weapons eager to tear through the metal hulls of their prey...

On the planet Skaro, a large room housed a small, transparent cylinder filled with blue fluid, with a Dalek mutant floating inside. Two mechanical arms extended from the bottom of the tank, each ending in three fingers. The tank was connected to three large, gold panels by articulated arms, the plates being attached to the room's floor. At the top of the tank was a large gold globe (to which the plates' arms were attached) that had a glowing blue eye-stalk, similar to that of most Daleks. Two Daleks with black domes and a red-and-gold Dalek stood near this creature, and they all watched the holographic screen that portrayed the spy drone's discovery and destruction. After the video ended, the Dalek Emperor barked, "Unacceptable! Prepare three assault craft and two Hunter-Killer cruisers, and destroy these fools! Watch for ambushes, and destroy anything that could possibly contain a ship! I want no surprises!" The red-and-gold Dalek, the Supreme Dalek, replied, "I obey, Emperor." The Supreme Dalek trundled away, leaving the Emperor with his guards...

Serephir reopened the gauntlet. "Admiral, if you could, please prepare 70 T-40s with full loads of Guillotine drones. make sure they're Varient Ns. i want to make sure that when they're implimented the targets are completely obliterated. also have some Decoy Drones sent out. i want to see what the nature of these newcomers are where we're conscerned" he said. "Immediately, General" responded the Admiral, the radio link cutting off. he then looked at the other Generals in the room, eying them carefully for a moment, before saying "Now...Any alternate suggestions for a course of action?"...

The Jr-10 took the blasts, another bursting through the shield and clipping its side. In a desperate attempt to even the boards, it armed its stockpile of explosives and seismic charges and ran its reactor into overdrive, using the burst of energy to pulse towards the alien warship, the Jr-10 being too big to simply absorb, crashing into its hull and sinking into its coral hull, the ship beginning to glow, its carpace seeming to disintergrate slowly, suddenly, the explosives detonated ripping through its body before bursting outwards, ripping across the surface of the organic ship... Then, from within the blast, two huge blue shockwaves suddenly ripped out, smashing through the enemy vessel...


Meanwhile, by the Tortoise's little last stand, the Jr-10 concentrated on shooting down the strange insectoid missiles, using its dual ion-cannons to incinerate the creatures from long range. It would tag a target, the white beam would flicker like lightning, then the gretchin would seem to burst into fire and disintergrate, its body being blasted at a molecular level.

The long bow's shells were exploding mid flight now, scattering into 12 different explosives, causing the targets to lose alot more energy to block them all...

"With that battle going on...it could go both ways. They could end up destroying the drones if they detect them or they could allow the drones to be brought aboard for their objective. Either ways...the Vong are not going to stop at Trandosha, they will continue to expand their power. If I'm correct, they already have several worlds under their control" Revan stated. The Sith Lord keeping a near silent contact with the Grand Admiral who was staying focus on the battle going on. The Empress kept at her husband's side along with keeping silent. She was focusing on other things in her mind..

The warship was torn in two, killing the ship, but the destruction was unnoticed by its allies, who stayed where they were, letting the expendable Grutchins absorb the gunfire. Some of the insects ran into the explosives on purpose, and whatever got past them was easily absorbed by dovin basals or blocked by plasma. The Vong fleet's overwhelming firepower allowed many of the shots to get through, flaming rocks slamming against the Tortoise and its allies...

[The Kingpin]

"The carrier drones, the T-40s, will be using advanced stealth systems to sneak in and release the drone carrier pods into Trandosha's asteroid belt via asteroid-like containers. we'll also have the decoys launched near the battlefield, within the new arrivals' sensor range, to help us find out their intentions. their communications will be bounced back to a single Destroyer within a few thousand miles of their position on an encrypted channel. this will allow us to have them respond should radio communications start. the decoys will be disguised to look like TGDA light warships, so that further actions based on whatever events occur don't attract suspicion. they'll be too far out of the Vong's range to be detected, but the newcomers should have them near the edge of their sensory range. we should have a full perimiter sweep prior to any attacks, in case there's more there than we currently see. after we're sure of our position in this....then we move..." said Serephir...

"Sounds like a plan," replied Grievous, folding his arms behind his back. "Let's make sure this is done as quickly as possible. I don't want to know what they plan to do to Trandosha..."

As Tsavong Lah watched his ships battle shrewdly, he was alerted by another Vong. "Warmaster, more infidels have appeared. They are not like any we have seen yet." "How many?" "Five ships." "Destroy them." "As you command."

The Daleks' ships had arrived: three of the saucer-shaped craft hovered at the extreme edge of the battle, just within sensor range. They were supported by two slightly smaller craft, shaped vaguely like rectangles with swiveling, ovoid jet pods and red, glowing "eyes." The two HK cruisers boosted forward first, training their weapons on the larger group of ships first. A single cannon underneath each HK's nose fired a bright white flash of energy that zipped towards the attacking Vong ships with incredible speed. The ships' dovin basals absorbed the shots, as well as the volley of missiles that followed, and the HKs retreated back to where they had originally jumped from Hyperspace, with several Vong craft peeling off from the rest to follow...
