The Tortoise replied to the message calmly "Any visible attempt at applying 'certain destruction' to my forces in this sector will be seen as a hostile act. Please don't shoot us."

"Such proper etiquette is a sign of weakness. Leave this system or face the wrath of the TGDA. Are you leaving yet?" the spy drone responded drifting closer to the planet's surface...

The Tortoise replied "Affirmative. We will vaccate your territory ASAP, please restrict your wrath giving." It finished its trace, immediately connecting to the nearest ship, a Jr-10. The ship rotated around, zooming in on the targeted location, spotting the small drone, immediately identifying it as the same model which they had spotted long ago. Rather than bothering to try capture it, the ship instead locked onto it and fired 3 shots from its auto cannon, the shells being flung into the spies path, one of them hitting home and blowing the small drone to pieces, leaving nothing larger than a slice of bread left.

"You will pay for this mistake you heartless monsters." another message was sent to all parties, the spy drone examining the Sentinel now inside the carcass, continuing its examination as it sent the message...

"Blood." the drone replied, still digging within the sentinel, actually trying to hide its presence using basic equipment. "Or metal. Whichever you have."

"That currency is not accepted here. Please leave this place until you acquire an acceptable currency, we will wait until you return." the spy drone responded, toying with the enemy at this point...

OOC: Doc, if you're talking about that Prowler, they're part of the UNSC, not something completely new.

The Daleks ignored the threats, continuing their occupation of the planet. The Dalek commander, however, requested more reinforcements, just in case the TGDA ended up being too much to handle...

Grievous paced back and forth. "The problem is, if we had trouble repelling the Vong, and they easily drove them off, how are we going to stop the Daleks and the Maricans?"

"As far as i can see, the Maricans and Daleks aren't working together. chances are they're just in the same area and have decided a mutual no-hostility agreement would benefit them both. the Daleks are the major conscern at the moment. Although i agree the Maricans are a serious threat, i still think that it's best to eliminate the most aggressive attackers first. we can deal with the Maricans when we're finished with the Daleks. a peaceful resolution may be possible with the Marican faction. as an alliance we can't afford to be hasty with hostilities. what we've seen so far is the Maricans attacking the Vong. apart from a couple of small landing parties, we've been given no reason to believe they actually want the planet. the Daleks, however, as you can clearly see, are letting out thousands of dropships. it's quite obvious they want the planet and won't give up without a fight" said Serephir. "They're ignoring warnings, General" said the Admiral on board the Executioner. "Let out the Guillotines" he ordered. "Yes, General" responded the Admiral on the comm link...

the 70 strong squadron of T-40s flew through the Dalek fleet, releasing their payload swiftly and leaving. the craft, as well as the weapons they had just released, were stealthed, to give the possibility of holding back the second wave if needed, and to maximise success.

almost immediately, 20 of the 70 pods released by the first 'warning' wave split up and hurtled into various assault craft, going in 5 pod groups towards numerous HK assault craft, splitting up around the craft and crashing in from all sides. as they crashed into the ships' shields, they detonated, immense explosions ripping through the Dalek fleet, obliterating their targets entirely, 4 HK Assault craft reduced to flaming shrapnel by the extremely high explosive pods.

"That will be your only warning. Ignore it, and you can expect nothing short of utter annihilation" came the radio contact, the Dragon's weaponry powering up and preparing to fire...

OOC: Fair enough, but the caution still stands.

The drone dropship slowed to a hover over the city, scanning around for any life forms... According to intel on the planet, the rulers lived in the nearby tower. That would be the best place to check in regards Vong activity.

A dull beeping reached the Tortoise, its trace complete, a red spot pulsing in time with the beeps on its hud. It ordered one of the Longbows to destroy it, a thin green beam flickering into the ball of debris the spy was hiding in blowing it apart immediately, a powerful shockwave spreading out around the impact and annihilating the target.

It still monitored the transmissions between the TGDA and the Dalek's, interested in what was going on... Just out of interest, it scrolled back in its records and took a sample of the passive radiation signatures around the Dalek fleet when the strange bombs were released, using the sample to try and track differences in radiation, finding a number of spots that came up with less than should be normal, they were shiluoted against a distant star after all. The Tortoise activated a boundary sensor, following one of the spots, finding an unidentified object beneath it... It tracked the ship, wondering what it was going to do.

A few engineer drones returned from scouting, towing a few TGDA ships from the earlier battle. They were badly damaged but according to scans, their reactors were already discharged and initial scans showed no unstable weapons on board. The drones dragged them into ClógMór, the craft dissappearing into the huge ships depths and being brought into their own hangers. Each hanger was extremely tough, able to contain almost any explosion.

The final spy drone, evidently more worried about self preservation, kept silent, instead simply documenting what was happening, the transmissions evidently having no kind of privacy whatsoever. As it finished its investigation of the dread weapon, the small machine began floating toward the giant sphere around the planet, able to see many different machines towing various objects into its depths. Using fairly basic stealth equipment, coupled with the drone's tiny size, the machine moved toward the craft undetected, intent on gathering as much information as possible. Its thin shield absorbing radar waves, and its propulsion systems dampened to lower energy output to almost zero, the spy drone was well suited for infiltration...

The Daleks, obviously unconvinced by this show of power, simply moved their fleet into the atmosphere of Trandosha, the commander's ship perching at the tip of Vassek, hovering over the cliff that the tower looked over. "If you want your planet," growled the commander, "come and get it." He doubted the enemy ships would risk damaging the Trandoshan capital city with an orbital bombardment. Meanwhile, he had left behind several oversized T-2 scouts, who headed for the Dragon, activating their cloaking fields while they investigated...

The ONI Prowler suddenly halted over Trandosha, revealing itself for a moment. It released half-a-dozen slightly angular pods from its ventral surface, which raced down to the planet below, drag chutes activating as the pods entered the atmosphere. The Prowler retreated back into Slipspace, heading for the edge of the system...

the thusfar stealthed Dragon, undetectable by normal sensors, sent out the order, and bounced back the communication to the Vardian fleet. the T-40s flew back through the Dalek fleet, releasing their payload, literally thousands of pods being released into the area around the Daleks. these had been geared to wipe out roughly half of the thousands strong Vong fleet. it'd most likely devastate the Daleks if the order was given to detonate them...

"Have the Revenge move here" said Serephir as he highlighted a spot near Trandosha's moon on the 3D Holographic Tactical Galactic Map built into his gauntlet, using a silver pen. "...accompanied by a couple of Sovereign class warships, and have a Collosus Class battleship move into position here" he continued, now highlighting another spot in the map. "make sure stealth systems are active for now. i don't want the systems deactivated until we begin the battle" Serephir finished. the Admiral acknowledged the order and had the ships begin moving into position. less than a second after the order was sent, the radio contact from the Dragon arrived, and information on the release of the explosive pods followed, Serephir looked at Grievous. "Well, Grievous. your planet, i'll let you choose. would you rather fight them the traditional way with your fleet engaging them and the Malevolence in the lead? or would you preffer they just get blown to space dust?" asked Serephir calmly. the Dragon, which he had had positioned near a moon of Trandosha, could quite easily fire a shot right through the side of the commanding Dalek ship, with a slight adjustment of targetting...

Grievous replied, "Honorable combat is my forte. If necessary, you can destroy them, but I want to fight them face-to-face first. The more we learn about these Daleks, the better..."

The drop pods crashed into the ground throughout the Trandoshan capital city, though they managed to retain some semblance of order by landing relatively close to one another. From the front of each pod, a door flew off, revealing the troopers inside. Cpatain Dare radioed to the Prowler on a heavily encrypted channel: "Wolf's Bane, this is Dare. We've hit planetside. We're going to regroup at the tower and proceed to attack the enemy ship at the top." "This is Wolf's Bane. Proceed with the mission as planned." "Yes, sir." Dare opened up a channel to all her troops: "Squad, regroup at the tower. Avoid enemy contact at all costs, except for Romeo." After a pause, she added, "Actually, Romeo, save the rockets. We don't want any unnecessary attention." "D*mmit..."

T7-T Spiders, T-600s, Aerostats, and a variety of other infantry units patrolled the streets of the city by now, with Hunter-Killers scouting the air. Strangely, few Daleks were actually in the open, despite the fact that they were the most dangerous soldiers the Empire had at its disposal...

OOC: Dm, I'm kinda relying on you to update me on the whole vong/trandoshan situation :P Are the Vong occupying the planet? Are the Trandoshans even alive?

The dropships sent down 4 scouts , the Sentinels landing onto what looked like a landing pad before approaching a doorway leading inside...

The dropship spotted the pods landing, staring at the squad as they moved away, transmitting the information to the fleet above. Suspicious, a Jr-10 flew into orbit above the city, scanning around for a stealthed ship with its boundary sensor, radiation trails implying that something had been there...

One of the troopers, nicknamed "Mickey" (a shortened version of Michael Crespo) was the first to make it to the Vassek without incident. He raised his Sniper Rifle, looking through the scope at the main doorway into the tower, his helmet's visor automatically scanning the two Daleks that guarded it and the massive crate being pushed through by a small group of T-600s. "Captain, we have something new here. Some sort of container." After scanning the box, he said, "It's 25X25X25 in volume. Big-a** piece of hardware." "Don't worry about it. Orders are orders. Wait for us to arrive, and we'll take care of the flagship. Stay low, and don't get caught." "Yeah," Romeo (aka Kojo Agu) interrupted, stalking up behind the low wall Mickey was hiding behind, Rocket Launcher in hand. "Don't make me have to use this." "Shut it, Private," growled the actual commanding officer of the group, Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck, over the radio. The other two troopers, Corporal Taylor H. Miles (simply known as Dutch), and the Lance Corporal known as Rookie, stayed silent, preferring to keep their laughter off the channel...

Wolf's Bane stayed at the edge of the system, knowing something was looking for it. The Prowler remained silent, not wanting to give away its position through radio contact, no matter how encrypted. One of many paranoid habits adopted by ONI, or the Office of Naval Intelligence...

The spy drone followed one of the wreckage as it moved toward the sphere, latching onto it with its magnetic treads before pressing itself against the mangled machine, blending it with the rest of the carcass, hoping it would be brought inside the sphere unnoticed...

"Vong make it the planet...their main fleet retreats and leave the Overlord back on Trandosha. Unless of course the Vong retreated entirely and that leaves only more problems..." Revan simply said, trying to learn more. Piett fed information through him but it wasnt enough. The Dark Lord remained curious about the Dalek and the Marcians appearing in the area. It was uncalled for and at complete random. So far the Vong were the only big enemies to the Empire at the moment but knowing this situation...anything could change.

"Your choice, Grievous. My forces will be held off until asked. but if they pinpoint and attempt to attack my ships, i won't hesitate to obliterate whoever took aim" he said. "Keep the forces on standby, Admiral. Grievous wants to go head to head with them. if anyone fires at our ships, destroy them. but otherwise, remain on standby until further orders are given. any radio contact is to be sent to me immediately. understood?". "Yes General" responded the Admiral...
