Meanwhile, on the surface of a public Imperial planet, a small group of troopers were scattered around a grungy alleyway, mangled and torn apart in horrific ways. A figure stepped out from the alley the troopers were thrown out around, stepping once again out into civilization, the sun reflecting off its masked face...the individual deactivated its crimson lightsaber, the hilt of which stained with blood, not wanting to arose choas from the citizens...yet...

Above the capital, the dropships returned, deeming the area safe enough to work again. 2 Engineers hovered above the city, dropships flying down to collect samples left over from the battle, various destroyed tanks and mechs being hauled up into the sky.

Deep within the ClógMór, en route to the drones homeworld, a team of sentinels entered one of the holding cells. A providence cruiser floated within, debris surrounding its haunting form. There was a mix of normal and S variant Sentinels, the drone's search lights activating and illuminating the dark ship, landing onto its hull and examining it...

The spy drone maneuvered deeper into the ship itself, attempting to hide from the examiners as best it could, all the while recording everything that happened, attempting to hide until the space station reached where ever it was going...

As the pods opened, a few large shapes moved within, lumbering their way out of the structures. Eerily similar to the GEKKOs of old, the machines were built in the same shape, minus the fleshy legs, but were much larger in all aspects. On the machines' right side, seemingly attached to their rotatable heads, was a massive gatling gun, while the other side was occupied by a small rocket launcher with two pods. On their "chins", a smaller plasma weapon, was used as a machine gun to take out lesser targets to conserve the gatling ammunition. A few among the machines were different from the rest, retaining their fleshy legs from ages past, while also lacking in amount of armor, and lost their gatling weapons as well. These were small scout versions, having a number of rapid-fire plasma weapons, while also having small grenade launchers attached to the sides of their heads. The scouts lept ahead of the others, their strong legs enabling them to leap great distances, while the larger machines began studying the wreckage thrown all around the planet..

Grievous and his group walked out of the APC, and they walked up to Serephir. "This group wishes to speak with you, General," the cyborg said, motioning towards the ODSTs. "However, I suggest we head to Geonosis before we do anything."

Meanwhile, a variety of scavenger droids swarmed over the wreckage of the Dalek commander's ship, as the TGDA wished to use the technology for their own purposes. The droids in the city kept a wary eye on the dropships and Engineers, not wanting them to touch anything TGDA-related yet (though the droid forces had suffered few casualties, as they had arrived later in the battle). The transports that had carried refugees to Geonosis had begun arriving back at Trandosha in full force, bringing cheerful Trandoshan citizens back to their home...

"Seems like Trandosha has been reclaimed. Congrats to him" The Empress of the Empire smiled as he watched civilians returning to their home, the many ships heading towards Trandosha. Countless lives had been lost the past few days in that planet but interesting enough, it was reclaimed sooner then expected. There was no doubt there would be great damage to the planet's structures itself but that would simply be fixed through hardwork and reconstruction.

"The other Imperial Planets reported Vong Activity, task forces... engagements were brief...Vong Numbers were small and the great amount of defense forces in each respective planet managed to execute with absolute precision. Soon, the ******** movement went outside of our range as if they just disappeared... The colonies outside of the Empire had mostly all been destroyed, we have a few left standing luckily. If the Vong have finally decide to halt their invasion and go elsewhere and if this peace with Grievous lasts...I think I can finally rest.." Revan said simply, admitting to his exhaustion in the constant non-stopping work he did. The Sith lord however felt slightly troubled, he wasnt why and he was sure Grievous or the Vong had anything to deal with it...

The Imperial Fleet above Geonosis stayed in its spot, ready to deploy when needed. The fleet watched as Trandoshans left the planet and return home...watching that situation brought about something in the Imperial Officer's minds...they wanted to return home as well. And with all that was going on...they may finally get that chance..

Serephir nodded as he continued to the lift, which took them up to the Command deck, and then headed for the control room, taking his place and giving the order to return to Geonosis, though he left the Revenge and a couple of Collosus class battlships behind to watch over the events and hold off any attack that might come afterwards. as Serephir sat down in his seet, he looked at the ODSTs. he motioned them forward. "You wanted to talk to me, gentlemen?" he asked...

Dare stepped forward. "Captain Dare of the UNSC. We heard about how your planet, Vardia, assisted one of our task forces in fighting off an alien threat. One of the survivors, Lieutenant Crowley, mentioned your name and how important you are. So I, as a representative of the Office of Naval Intelligence, wish to give you our thanks and ask for an alliance. We could use all the help we can get, to be honest." "Honesty? I didn't know that applied to--ow!" Rookie punched Romeo hard in the arm to cut him off, eliciting a chuckle from Lissarkh, who stood nearby with Grievous.

The Wolf's Bane, supported by the Marathon-class cruiser Atlas, both appeared in orbit around Geonosis, but no ship attacked them, considering they were, at least for the time being, allies...

Spectre followed after the others, leaning against a nearby wall as they conversed, his wrist computer display once again appearing...

"No thanks is necessary. It was a duty, which my men were fulfilling. As for the alliance, I'm afraid I'm not alone in the decisions. it is, after all, a democratic system we follow. but i think that an alliance could indeed by beneficial to both our factions. until I've spoken to the Parliament and National Council, official relations will remain merely as acquaintances friendly to the Vardian nation. once I've spoken to them, you can expect the alliance to be in effect. however. i must stress two points: Firstly, that any ally of Vardia is an ally of her associates. if, for example, you don't accept the TGDA as allies, I'm afraid i cannot bind myself to an alliance with you. Secondly, I will not be able to provide any true military assistance for the time being. in the future, of course, but for now, that kind of assistance will be difficult for me to supply" responded Serephir as a drink droid rolled up, giving Serephir a glass of water. it produced several more glasses of water for the ODSTs, Spectre and Lissarkh. he had doubts Spectre would want water, since he seemed about as much a cyborg as Grievous...

Spectre took a glass of water as the droid neared him, glancing briefly at the others before heading toward the far end of the control deck. The armored being's face plate retracted itself with a hiss, folding into his still armored neck, revealing his head entirely, the back of which was only visible to the others. Spectre's head indicated that he was obviously human, but was completely devoid of hair, various metal plates covering the back of his head, seemingly scattered, some extending beneath the skin as well. Lifting the glass, Spectre drank quickly, as if it had been days since he last drank...which, in reality, it was...

The masked figure seemed to blend in with the crowd, despite its somewhat fearsome appearance. On one arm, its hand was completely absent, instead replaced by a fully mechanical limb, not in the least disguised to seem "human". The fingers of its organic hand were extended by razors fused with its limb, while the rest of its body was covered by Sith robes, while its mask showed only small slits for eyes, all other features missing completely. The figure passed by an Imperial checkpoint, turning to stare at the troopers for a few moments before continuing further...

"Get rid of the bodies...tell command to increase security in all areas of the district. Keep a low profile, we must avoid panic" The Sith commanded. "Of course Lord Ramage...but shall I activate the Purge for extra measure. It's rare to see a group of our troopers like this...it wasnt a blaster that inflifcted the killings" One of the troopers said. The lack of communication from one of the patrol groups was enough to cause the investigation. Even the best bounty hunters would have trouble with a squad of elite clones. But now that the suspect was using a lightsaber...only more interest was added to the situation, especially to the Sith Warrior in charge of the garrision in this city.
"At once...you two come with me. It seems like we have something going on.." Rampage reported as he began to walk away from the scene and his men began to clean up the area. Two already activated Purge Troopers followed Ramage as they were told. Citizens moved out of the way accoridngly and bowed...unaware on what was happening. The Sith Troopers remained widely spread across the planet and with the current situation, things could easily change.

Lissarkh accepted a drink and swallowed it greedily, licking her lips, having been unaware of how thirsty she really was during the battle. The ODSTs all took off their helmets, revealing them all to be humans of various ethnicities and appearances. They all accepted drinks, and Dare nodded understandably to Serephir's comment. The human had brown hair cut just within UNSC regulations and piercing green eyes. "Of course. I'm sure we can hold out against the Daleks for now, and the TGDA will be a valuable ally, just as you will be. If you need me to, I can request a superior to meet your Council on Vardia." Buck, after finishing his drink, was talking on a handheld radio, the look on his tanned, grizzled face obviously one of concern.

"That would be much appreciated, Captain" said Serephir, wanting to say something else but stopping at the sight of one of the ODST soldiers, who was operating on a radio and had a look of discomfort or conscern on his face...

Butch finally put the radio back on his belt and tapped Dare on the shoulder, whispering something in her ear. The normally stoic ONI operative's eyes widened for a moment, then she nodded and waved him away. "I apologize General, but we have to get going," she said to Serephir. Lissarkh arched a brow. "Why?" Dare paused, then said, "Have any of you ever heard of the Covenant?" Grievous nodded. "We had to deal with them once more, along with a parasite called the Flood. Wasn't fu--" "The what?!" shouted Romeo, the man of East-African descent spinning around to face Grievous. "The Flood. I assume you've dealt with them before?" "Dealt with them? More like nearly lost an entire system to them!" Buck grabbed Romeo's shoulder and spun him around. "Cool it, Corporal!" Romeo, after a second, nodded slowly, and Buck let him go. He turned to Grievous. "Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, as the Captain was about to say, it seems like the Covenant have come back for another go at the UNSC, and this time it's not good."

"I see..." said Serephir thoughtfully. as much as he wanted to help, he knew that he couldn't afford to send any more ships away. "I'm sorry i can't help. i wish you the best of luck dealing with the situation. make sure your representative heads for Vardia soon so that we can discuss diplomatic relations seriously" he added...

Dare nodded. "I'll try, but don't expect anything until this is dealt with. The Covenant are considered a major threat, so we may need all hands on deck. Last time this happened, we had a 28-year-long war. We sure as hell don't want that again. Keep your guard up too. They may want to come here too." Dare and the other ODSTs sat down, muttering amongst themselves, except for Rookie, who was slumped against the bridge wall, helmet still on, fast asleep. Dare called over to Serephir, saying, "As soon as we get to Geonosis, we'll call in our ship to pick us up."

Spectre's face plate expanded with another hiss, covering his face once more as he turned around, placing the empty glass on the droid's tray. Spectre once again leaned against the nearby wall, listening half-heartily to the others as they talked...

15 minutes later, the Executioner slowed to a stop over Geonosis. here, the bulk of the Vardian presence in the galaxy could be seen, seeing as the fleets Serephir had sent to Trandosha had now returned, with the invasion force remaining there as a security precaution, along with the Revenge and her escorts. Serephir ordered a shuttle to be prepared to take Lissarkh, Grievous, Spectre and himself planetside...

Grievous walked off the bridge, Lissarkh and the ODSTs following. "I wish to get this over with and start some patrols around TGDA-controlled space," the cyborg growled to Lissarkh. "I don't want any problems with the Covenant like last time." "Don't worry about it," replied Lissarkh, patting Grievous on the back with a loud clank. "We kicked their a**es last time, and we'll do it again."

as they reached the shuttle, it's engines started up, waiting till the last passenger was on board, before taking off, it's doors closing and it's landing gear retracting as soon as it lifted off the runway, flying out of the hanger and heading down to Geonosis, not taking more than a few minutes to arrive, it's powerful engines propelling it to the surface, to the hive the TGDA used as a meeting place. the craft hovered to a stop, landing gear extending and the doors opening to let the passengers out, Serephir walking out as soon as the door opened...
