(WOOT! I gotta juggle three characters! WOO!)
The group of raptors Rainus sent returned. The leader of the group came forward. We found Onarus's scent and followed it to a clearing where it mixed with Darkness's. The scents both disappear though, and we were unable to track him or Darkness. he growled. Rainus barred his teeth in disgust. Very well.... he growled. The leader of the group backed away and the group dispersed. Rainus walked up to the new raptor, Rawhide. Are we ready to attack the raptors of your former pack? Rainus growled.
Darkness now watched Crusher converse with the Carnosaur and a raptor. Darkness hissed to himself. Why would a creature with so much power waste it on helping these pathetic creatures? Darkness growled softly. Crusher and his kind were almost as worthless as Sharpclaw herself. Darkness needed to do something to hurt Crusher. He knew his weakness, his family. But he didn't want the beast to go on another rampage after him. I need someone who Crusher dislikes to take the blame... Darkness growled. He continued to watch the creatures from the safety of the trees, thinking.
Anvalus turned his sail toward the sun. He felt his body start to warm up. He relaxed in the sun, Gallimimus and Edaphosaurs running at the sight of him. A carcass of an Edaphosaurus lay beside him, a kill he made just moments ago. After a short time of sunning, Anvalus rose from the ground and walked toward the kill. He began to eat, and ate until he was full. He walked away from the kill, only bones and scraps of meat were left. He walked down the game trail and came to a herd of Parasaurolophus. He growled under his breath. How he wished to take down such prey. At this thought, a thundering sound shock the earth. Anvalus looked around and saw an Allosaurus running toward him. He braced himself for death, but the Allosaur passed by him and grabbed a young para by the neck. Anvalus growled. Not even the predators consider me prey! he snarled. He turned around and walked away, hearing the crunching of bones and ripping of flesh. A world where dinosaurs met the reptiles of old was an odd place. None of the dinosaurs considered any of them threats. Or food. Some may say its nice, living without fear of being eaten, but its become an annoyance. Anvalus was too short to take on even a Parasarolophus, and was too slow to take on Gallimimus. He had fought with raptors before, and had won. His powerful jaws proved to be too much for the raptors he faced. Anvalus growled to himself and walked away, back to his favorite tree. He arrived and layed down to rest.
