Rampage entered the plains, looking for a good meal for the family. she saw a Para herd, and watched them, following them downwind of them, to make sure they didn't smell her. she spotted a slow elderly Para, feeding on the edge of the herd, and moved to a place she could ambush it from effectively. she waited for it to lower it's head, then charged out. the herd started running, all of them getting on their hind legs and running for their lives. the elderly one was slow, and Rampage was soon next to it. she turned her head and angled a bite, then thrust her head down, jamming her jaws shut on it's spine. the Para hooted a distress call, but was ignored. Rampage soon smashed the spine, biting down as hard as she could, until she heard a crunch and the Para went limp. she then dragged it back to the cave. as she reached within a mile of the cave, she heard a deep growl. it was something big. she let go of her kill and looked around. she couldn't see anything at first, so she bent down, picked up the Para by the head, and continued dragging. she didn't go more than a couple of feet, until she heard another deep growl. she dropped it and made a challenging roar, to make whatever it was come out, and to alert Crusher. suddenly, she felt an immense shake beneath her, and saw a massive Giga step out, and roar at her. it was as big to her as Crusher was to Hunter, if not bigger. she stood her ground, although she was scared. it was bigger than Crusher by a few feet, and looked like it had seen even more fights than Crusher had. it stepped toward her and swung it's massive head into her, making her fall to the ground. he bent ovwer, and grabbed hold of the carcass, and started dragging. Rampage made a distress rour, knowing it was too big for her to fight alone.
Crusher heard the roar and got up, and growled "Hunter, Fury, stay with Razor!". he then charged off, thinking about what might be happening. if she was hurt, or even worse, killed.....Crusher couldn't think about the possibilities. his rage was bubbling as he thought about what might have happened. his rage colours were appearing. he arrived to see the Giga stepping toward Rampage, jaws wide open, ready to kill her. Crusher made an enraged territorial roar, that made the Giga almost jump. Crusher's roar was one that was ment for something twice his size, and the Giga didn't expect anything bigger than it. it saw him, and the fear was replaced with anger. Crusher charged it, but it dodged, and Crusher rammed a tree. the tree fell and Crusher was unfazed. his anger kept everything intact. he looked at it, and snarled "how dare you attack my mate!". he then charged and was greeted with a slash from the Giga's rather small arms. Crusher turned at it, his eyes had suddenly changed. he now knew it was here to fight. to kill them if neccesary. his eyes changed from orange to fiery red. it was glowing, and his skin became vibrant. he roared and charged, and landed the first serious hit of the fight. he bit onto the Giga's arm, the same one it slashed him with, and crushed it. the Giga roared in pain, then slammed him on the back, which made him collapse. it looked down and opened it's jaws, planning to break Crusher's spine, and was about to until Rampage rammed it hard enough to make it stumble. Crusher got up just in time to stop it from charging Rampage. he caught it by the tail, and held it in place by crouching, then pulling. he tugged until the Giga was struggling to break free and attack Rampage, then made a deep, sub-sonic warning that only rexes could understand, warning Rmapage to move out of the way of the Giga. as soon as she did so, Crusher let go. the struggling Giga fell face first into the ground. it roared a rage roar that rumbled Rampage's insides, and snarled "next time, you won't be so lucky.". he got up, and ran. Crusher growled "are you ok?". Rampage nodded, then growled "why did that Giga attack me?". Crusher growled "i don't know. i saw it swimming last night. i'm going to find out. you stay at the cave with this kill, and don't let anyone leave the cave. i'm going to the human buildings east of us. i know a Raptor that may know...". Rampage nodded, and dragged the kill back to the nest, and warned the 3 youngsters not to leave the cave even if it was filled with Suchos. they all listened and Crusher headed to the labs.....
