"Hmmm," Nyx said. Diana smiled at that news. "What does that mean, for us?" Thanatos asked.

"Well, i'm honestly not sure. but i think it might mean a few more...privilages and favours for you guys" he said as he began to lead them out into the garage, the vehicles no longer there, a large tunnel ahead of them, curving to one side not far ahead, red blinking lights lining either side of it...

Diana and Nyx raised their eyebrows at each other at the comment. "Whoa, cool," Nyx said as they entered the tunnel. "Sweet," Diana said at the same time.

Velkor and Wisp followed Drake into the tunnel, and Velkor obviously looked disappointed to be leaving the bar behind...

"Most likely thing to happen is them crossing you out of their 'potential threat' books and write you down as friends. i've asked for some of their Close Quarter Combat trainers and Martial Arts specialists to give you some practice in fighting. i've noticed that alot of you just sink your teeth into whatever you're fighting. alot of the kind of things out there would have a perfect shot at killing you if you try that on them, and i'd rather NOT have to try and figure out how to put you back together because of a wrong move" said Drake somewhat bluntly, though a mildly humourous smile was visible. "The ones at the top of the list are Nyx, Thanatos and Diana, in no particular order. not sure about the Twins yet so i haven't had them written up for it yet. Velkor's good enough as i can see. Spencer, well, Spencer's a top class Agent here already. they probably won't be able to tell him anything he doesn't already know" he finished finally...

Diana and Nyx rose their eyebrows. Thanatos scowled. "It's easy to weaken an opponent that way, the more blood loss the weaker," Nyx explained. "Or at least that happens with mortal opponents."

"Well remember when you're dealing with the big league everyone has everything else working for them. Vampires with Demons, Ghosts, Werewolves, so on and so forth working form, and all other imaginable combinations of that. i can tell you now all you'd gain if you tried to drain Spencer for example, is a shattered jaw and broken teeth" he said...

Nyx smiled, though Drake sounded all-too-serious. "I'd expect so," she said. "He's such a hard-head." Diana bit her lip to keep back a smile.

"Hard head? maybe, but only when i need to be" responded Spencer in response, Drake simply chuckling...

at the end of the downwards angled hall were two large gatling turrets on the ground, with two on either side of the ceiling by the walls. the massive steel door in front of them slid open with a loud thump, the door turning out to be roughly 10 feet thick, with interlocking steel rods inside the doors themselves, holding them shut. trying to ram them open would be useless. as they walked up to it, a thick steel walkway extended over the gap, a trench appearing beneath the doors that was at least 20 feet deep behind it was another steel door, though this one revealed itself to be thinner, only about 6 feet thick, though still roughly 20 feet tall. behind that, a gargantuan warehouse-like construct was bustling with activity. forklifts moved equipment from one area to another, and vehicles that seemed civilian were being moved around. their own vehicles were being carried away by a large vehicle, the fram of which resembled a crane though lacking the upper half, instead replaced with a long support where vehicles were parked. "Welcome to HQ" said Drake as he turned around and looked at the others, enjoying the look of utter amazement coming from Tony, whose wide eyes had an awed look in them...

Nyx made a drawn-out, monotone whistle. Diana stared with a blank, wide-eyed look. Thanatos' mouth dropped. "Sweeeet," Nik said. Vincent looked around as well. "Impressive," he said.

Velkor looked around the base as well, hissing, "Nice place." Without looking away, he grabbed the tip of Wisp's tail as the younger Demon attempted to zip away. Flying straight, but not going anywhere, Wisp growled, "Come oooooooon! I wanna explore!"

"Don't worry Wisp. you'll get to explore....just not now" said Spencer with a smirk. "the base is almost literally impenetrable. not even a Demon like Wisp could get in here. we've got 30 Shifters guarding the place constantly. anything tries to get in the way Wisp would, they know, the base know, and it's intercepted before it's through. any kind of forced entry is responded with adequate counter force. one door in and out, and an army's worth of firepower holding everything that tries from getting through. the doors are extremely resistent to heat, so melting your way through is nigh impossible. only 5 bases like this in the world. 3 belong to Brimstone. one belongs to the US government as a Super Bunker for the heads of State so that they can keep operating even if they fell into a Nuclear World War III. the last is a similar bunker positioned in the UK. despite all this, this one is the most lightly protected. closest one to the surface" said Drake. he headed on into the warehouse-like construction, it's ceiling rising up roughly 50 meters, it's ends unseen. this base was roughly 1/5th the size of the city of Chicago itself.a long black vehicle pulled up next to the group. "The Director told me to pick you guys up and take you to the Command Center. hop in" said the Driver as a double door on the side of the vehicle opened up, revealing the insides to be like a luxury bus. Drake got at the back seat, the sets of seats being in twos, with several sets making enough room for everyone to fit in...

Nyx hopped in next to Drake. The others piled in as well and almost everyone crammed close to the windows.

Velkor took his seat as well, dragging Wisp in by her tail. The Demon glowered and reluctantly sat down, crossing her arms. "I never get to have any fun..."

the doors closed and the vehicle set off, going through the immense structure until they arrived at a large metal platform with several other vehicles parked on it. a loud mechanical whirring sound was heard and the whole platform suddenly lurched before beginning it's slow descent further into the Brimstone Headquarters. "You sure you can live in a place like this?it's basically a military facility" asked Drake as he gave Nyx a half amused, half conscerned look...

Nyx smiled and shook her head. "I've lived in worse conditions for 200 years, a military base would feel like home," she said teasingly.

OOC: sorry for the long wait my dad decided to be an *ss and lock up the internet access in my house

Kind of gloomy dont you think? Desh spoke up. Makes me feel like im a prisoner again...uh... no offense of course, but Biotech was practically a military base, that was their plan after all... living weapons and biological warfare. Korso however sat in silence as if in contemplation of something but as Desh turned to check on him his expression turned to cheeriness as he gave a slight wave gesture. Anyway when can we have me checked?

"Biotech, eh? that's interesting info. Brimstone has a record on them. i think they may have even dealt with one of their....weapons, before" said Drake. "Yeah, they did. Tribrid, i think it was called. didn't physically deal with it, but i think they got some DNA samples a while back. read the file myself" said Spencer as he heard it. "We should be able to get you looked at in a few hours or so. we just need to give you and the others time to adjust, rest. you especially. chances are this info about Biotech and the 'frenzy' you had a while back will mean you'll be restrained during the check. just in case"...

Nyx looked back at Desh. Diana reached over to Desh and held his hand in reassurance. "And I'll be right next to you," she whispered.

Desh smiled to Diana as she held his hand and he gently wrapped an arm around her. That much i can live with, Desh stated as he heard Drake mentioned restraints. I just hope we can solve this problem sooner than later...
