Rob lead the two to their room, leaving the hall the others were in and turning left, going down a corrider before entering another hallway, walking to the end and pushing the door open. reaching in, he opened the lights. inside was a fairly bland room, though comforting. light peaches n' cream-coloured walls were lined with wooden panneling, the ground of the room covered in navy blue carpetting. in the center of one end of the room was a fair-sized 4 poster bed, black sheets visible on it, a pair of matching darkwood side tables on either side of the bed, an alarm clock, lamp and phone on one and a single empty brass ashtray. the room had the faint scent of cigarettes, which drew a barely noticable irritated look from Drake. to one side of the bed was a dresser, of the kind with sliding mirror-covered doors. on the other side was a bathroom, which, though the lights were off, was visibly spacious, at least, compared to the Twins' and Spencer's rooms. "This room belonged to some pompous Brimstone official from Europe. a Werewolf, i think. he was some bigshot executive with a major smoking problem. he went through, like, 5 packs a day. it's a miracle he didn't die from all the smoke. it was like those jamaican bars, you know, in the movies? where the moment you open the door you have your own personal storm cloud made of cigarette and drug smoke?" said Rob with disgust. Drake chuckled in amusement at the story. "To my knowledge, he went turncoat on us a few months after he came here...*******'s name was.....Xavier, i think....yeah. Xavier. he was using his connections in Brimstone to get whatever he wanted...among them, was this room. well....after a couple of weeks of cleaning and disinfecting we managed to get this room livable again...the Director had me set it up for you the moment he found out you were coming....uh...sir, i know it's not my place to say, but...what exactly did you do for Brimstone that landed you favours like they're giving you?" asked the young man, somewhat bewildered as to what Drake could possibly have done. Drake chuckled, and said "Kid, i'm just back from a drive across the country. tomorrow, when you're on your break, if i'm here, i'll tell you. for now, i suggest you get some sleep. i know that's what i plan to do". the young man smiled, a hint of excitement on his face. "Yes sir" he said, before leaving. Drake looked at Nyx. "Happy now you've got your waterbed?" he said, chuckling, obviously amused that by chance Nyx's request was even possible...

"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
