Darkclaw took a sep back at the sudden appearance of a very aggressive raptor. He growled nervously, "Um... not anymore. He exiled me. Who are you?"

Steeltalon was relieved that this stranger wasn't one of Reaper's servants sent to kill her, but she didn't let her guard slip. "Steeltalon," she growled curtly. "But you still haven't answered my question. Why are you on my lands and who are you?"

Silver was running back to the Homalo carcass when she smelled Steeltalon and another raptor. They were close. Silver hid behind the kill until Steeltalon called her out of hiding or the stranger found her.

Darkclaw hissed, "An irritating Utahraptor was taunting me about..." He immediately shut his mouth, not wanting to give away his revenge plans.

Crusher nodded at Redtooth, and then turned away and continued his patrol. life was getting increasingly difficult lately... so many greedy predators wanting power for themselves...

Steeltalon's interest was peaked. "Taunting you about what?" She narrowed her eyes. "And don't say nothing!"

Silver couldn't take it any more. The tension around her was too high. She gave a small cry and ran to Steeltalon's side, raising her killing toes and preparing for battle.

Steeltalon growled in annoyance, but she didn't say anything. If worse came to worse, she would need all the help she could get.

Darkclaw stammered. "Um... eh... A failed kill..." He didn't sound very confident about his lie, but he didn't want to expose the secret, since this raptor could be an ally of Greeneye.

Bull and his herd walked along the plains. Looking a for a water source.
They come across a lake. The water looks nice,blue, and clean. They drink from the lake and then feast on the plants near the lake. Tri plays happily with the other juveniles of the herd.

green eye growled to white scale and told her that he was going to see if he could find the raptor. green eye left the nest and was about to head in the direction of the plains when he picjed up steeltalon's scent. with it was the scent of the raptor that had tried to kill sunlight. green eye headed in the direction of the scents, trying to make sure he wouldn't reveal he was coming before he could find the raptor.

Steeltalon didn't believe him, as he was clearly a bad liar, but she was more confident. "You don't have to worry about any allies of mine," she growled, flicking her tail as though frustrated. "I don't have any. I've been a loner for as long as I can remember, always wanting to do things my way or not at all. That's why I don't have a pack, or allies." Steeltalon slowly lowered her killing claws. "If I did, they wouldn't help me anyway. I've always been a lone fighter." She caught sight of Greeneye over the raptor's shoulder and tried to warn him to stay back with another swish of her tail. She would let him know if she needed him, and luckily he was downwind of them. This new raptor wouldn't know Greeneye was there until it was too late.

Silver copied Steeltalon, lowering her killing claws and backing into the shadows. It looked like the stranger hadn't noticed her yet, and Silver wanted to keep it that way.[/i]

Darkclaw thought he heard stomping, and as it got louder he recognized the smell of... "Oh boy," he hissed angrily, "here he comes."

"Here who comes?" Steeltalon asked, playing dumb. She took a pace back and vanished into the shadows beside Silver.

Darkclaw turned around and saw Greeneye. He turned back to where Steeltalon was standing, knowing she was in earshot, and hissed, "Him."

green eye approached the raptor and snarled in rage:"i see you found your way into this raptor's territory. you tried to kill my son and now i find you possibly trying to kill this raptor!" green eye was angry that this raptor had possibly tried to lie to steeltalon. if this raptor tried to harm sunlight or steeltalon, green eye would kill the raptor.

Darkclaw turned back to Greeneye and, too his surprise, had a confident smirk on his face. He hissed, "Figured that out did you? What a smart little Rex you are." His smirk disappeared. "And now you're going to regret giving that away! I'll kill your son if it's the last thing I do!"

Steeltalon twitched and kept to the shadows, making sure to stay silent and out of sight until she was beside Greeneye. "You're a really bad liar, DARKCLAW." she spat his name out like grit. "You can't fool me. Silver, come here." Silver ran over and hid behind Steeltalon.

green eye snarled at the raptor:"we will see about that, raptor. you will only be able to kill my son if my mate and i are dead." green eye needed to know something else about this raptor. green eye snarled at the raptor:"you will be stopped, darkclaw."

Darkclaw laughed. His days he had spent trying to kill Sunlight and the loneliness, which he couldn't stand, had obviously driven him nearly insane. He growled, Your death, Greeneye? That can be arranged nicely. As for my name, ask STEELTALON!" He pointed his claw at the raptor.

green eye snarled at the raptor:"steeltalon has mentioned your name to me just now, darkclaw. how do you intend to kill me? lure me to sharp rocks? i won't fall for that." green eye didn't know what this raptor's plan was, but he wouldn't fall for a trap involving sharp rocks. darkclaw would need to take something from green eye in order to lure him somewhere.

Darkclaw's bloodshot eyes drooped. He had barely had any sleep, but his fevered mind kept him active. He hissed rather quietly, "You'll find out soon enough. You don't get what it's like to be exiled, do you? You have a big nice family. But thanks to you, I don't! And I'll make sure your family suffers just like I did!"

green eye snarled at the darkclaw:"if you hadn't joined reaper, you might be living in a pack right now. if your going to kill me, think up a way and it will fail." green eye would make sure this raptor would stop. darkclaw had one more chance to avoid being killed. however, darkclaw seemed to be choosing to ignore that chance.
