Suddenly, the Spinosaurus started awake, eyes wide with surprise from something he had been dreaming of. Bloodsail lifted his head and looked around cautiously, before spotting the rustling of the nearby vegetation. The Spinosaurus stared at the movement for a moment, still not entirely awake...

Unable to see the Spino behind the vegetation, Switchblade had no idea he was awake. After a few seconds though, she noticed how quiet things had suddenly gotten and stopped in her tracks, glancing around to try to find a small hole in the bushes to look through, not daring to lift her head above them. She took one more tentative step forward, lowering her head to a thin spot between two plants, one eye peering through the gap, quickly widening in surprise, then pulling back, the Lili tensing further, seriously considering the option of bolting...

Aircrest carried on, oblivious that so soon after he left her, Switchblade would find herself in another bind. He spied another one of the strange human mobile constructs, rusted, chipped green paint that had a shiney contrast to the flora around. It wasnt unlike the overgrown vessel he had stumbled into when he first found the strange forest. Aircrest bared his teeth at the large metal object and kicked at it, still a bit cross from when he ran into the other one. His foot hit with an audible thunk, and the raptor leapt back, resisting the urge to let out a pained call. Aircrest gingerly put his throbbing foot back on the ground and hissed "Damn you you human-spawn waste of space!"

Bloodsail's eyes widened again as he saw the movement stop. The Spinosaurus bared his fangs in an angry snarl, thinking that whatever was hiding in there had woken him up. With an earth-shaking bellow, he stood up, raking the undergrowth with his foreclaws to try and catch the offender...

Switchblade threw herself to the side, failing to stifle a hissing shriek of surprise, the Spino's enormous fish-hook claw narrowly missing her as it tore through the spot where her head was only seconds before. Adrenaline kicking in, the small predator abandoned stealth completely, leaping from the thicker bushes that would surely slow her down into more open space, skidding slightly on forest detritus, now in plain sight. Her wide eyes stared up at the Spino for half a second before she spun around, head lowered and sprinted off in the direction she thought the nearest buildings would be...

Shredder ambled along lazily, taking in the sunlight. All the sights were triggering memories in his head; he now, more or less, remembered everything that had happened from the move to NYC.
He started heading to the woodland area... he needed to try to establish a territory before night fell, and to find something to eat.
Shredder quickened his pace slightly, lurching forward each step, trying to find the quickest way toward the forest, when he heard a massive roar from its direction, obviously from a large dinosaur, fade away into the distance. He came to a stop. Maybe it wasn't the greatest idea to go there after all... he hissed and shrugged the thought away. He'd try to avoid any confrontation that met him, but he wasn't going to let someone else get in the way of him and his goals, however minor they may be. He continued on toward the woods...
Clarity of thought before rashness of action...

"repay me?" growled Blade with a chuckle. "Hey, what're friends for? certainly not just to point you to clean water. I'm happy i could help" he finished...

Crusher crossed the boundries of his territory. from here onwards, he was either going to be tresspassing on others' territories, or walk through free ground. both issues posed very little trouble for the Patriarch, but he'd nonetheless avoid confrontation unless some fool tried to pick a fight with him...

elsewhere, weary eyes watched out from the 7th floor of a very tall building. the Elder had no idea how much further up it'd go, but considering he was at a height he could very well die at if he fell, he didn't want to risk going higher. he had his adventurous moments, but he was no fool...he wouldn't risk death for curiosity. ripping a chunk off the flank of a rat he had caught earlier, the Raptor gulped down the flesh, though less than happy with the fact the fur got in the way of an otherwise clean meal...

Alira cocked her head, blue eyes a little confused and a little bit softer. "You're a strange one, alright," she growled. "Willing to help a near perfect stranger with their family problems...and then want nothing in return for it." She tipped her head the other way, wondering if this allosaur's ways would ever make sense to her.

Bloodsail roared again, taking several steps forward to make sure the unusual-looking creature didn't come back. As Switchblade fled, the Spino snorted in satisfaction, and returned to hid previous spot to lay back down, more tired than hungry...

The Lili kept on running for a couple of minutes, even though she saw and heard nothing that indicated she was being pursued. After a short while, she slowed down to a trot, greatly relieved that the enormous carnivore hadn't bothered to follow her, and making a mental note to watch out for that part of the park in the future, assuming the Spino had made it his territory. Just then, the trees opened up around her, the Lili finding herself in a small, narrow clearing, the ground covered by a rocky concrete path that cut through the park, one end of it curving off to connect with a larger street. Pausing for a moment, she glanced down the path in both directions, making sure nothing else would surprise her before turning and trotting toward the spot where the paths met, able to see hulking gray caves beyond. By now, direct sunlight was nearly gone from the sky, the very last of the sun's red-orange rays casting a long, slender shadow several yards out in front of her, and deepening every shadow in every crevasse. She'd have to work quickly to find a good cave before everything was plunged into darkness...

"In the kind of world we live in, sometimes others need ones like me to help. but if i had to name something...i'd say friendship. it's worth far more than any material object. food...water....territory...they're all not worth having if you have no friends and are surrounded by enemies. afterall, where's the pleasure in life if you don't have friends to share it with?" growled Blade with a smirk...

Off at the eastern edge of Central Park, infront of a small house, Spike laid sleeping in the garage of the house, the large Spinosaurus dozing off, two Ceratosaurs sleeping right along beside it, the musky smell of a Lili (Switchy) floated into the nostrils of the three predators, the only one rising up being Spike, whom didn't tolerate ANY other predators in his territory, the fit bull crawled out of the garage and into the lengthening shadows of the night....

As Switchblade neared the end of the small path, the human smell of the city began to replace the various scents of dinosaurs who lived in the park. For a moment, as the light wind shifted direction, the Lili thought she picked up on a couple of scents belonging to carnivores, though when the wind shifted again, they quickly disappeared. Realizing they could have been drifting by from anywhere, she didn't worry much about them. She left the dense foliage of the park behind, trotting out across the street and turning down a sidewalk, pausing every so often to glance in a window or doorway, looking for a more secluded cave with a relatively small entrance...

The giant collosus lumbered through the wooded area, the sounds of birds chirpnig and frogs croaking helping out to mask the sounds of Spike brushin gup against the foliage as the Spinosaur kept on the trail of a new scent, one that was coming from the same direction as that of the Lily, and just as strong...

Only 20 meters from Pyro's side, a lone Lambeosaurus browsed among a tall tree, the Hadrosaur far too large to feel threatened by the Lily...

Trotting further down the path and turning the corner, the Lili only briefly looked over her shoulder at the Lambeosaur, not too concerned about it, as long as it kept its distance. Then she paused, again picking up a trace of the same scent as before. Suddenly beginning to feel insecure, she began walking along the side of the building toward a slightly bent, rusty door, intending to try to open it, thinking it a good idea to just get inside as quickly as possible...

The Lambeosaurus gazes lazily at the Lili, an almost stupid look on the Hadrosaur's face until it too picks up the scent, the herbivore's eyes grow wide in fear as it looks around, tryng to detect where the scent's coming from, unaware of a pair of crocodilianesque eyes eyeing it about 30 meters away, Spike maneuvers himself into position, the Spinosaurid camuflagued by the foliage...

Switchblade stopped in front of the door, which was hanging crookedly in its frame. The Liliensternus put a hand against the metal and gave it an experimental push, the door refusing to budge. She happened to glance over at the Lambeosaur, eyes narrowing slightly as she noticed its odd behavior, knowing it must have been alerted to something close by. The Lili pushed at the door again, starting to get impatient with the jammed object. Taking a step backwards, she drew her head back and kicked out at the door, its metal corner screeching as it scraped a couple of inches across the concrete floor. Flinching, she quickly dealt it three more kicks, each one pushing it further open until its badly rusted bottom hinge finally gave out, unsticking its edge and allowing it to swing open...

Suddenly, all hell seemed to break loose as SPike charged forward, mouth wide open, bellowing out as loud as he could, the Lambeosaur paralyzed in fear nutil it took off toward an allyway to the side of the building, The Spinosaur right at it's heels...

The second she heard the roar, Switchblade spun around, eyes widening as she identified the source as yet another Spinosaur. Wasting no time, she ducked slightly so her head crests wouldn't scrape the top of the door frame, and dove through, plunging several yards down a dark hallway, but having to come to an abrupt stop as it ended with yet another metal door. Her head swiveled around, eyes fixed on the entrance behind, though she couldn't see any of what was happening. Listening intently for a few seconds, she breathed a silent sign of relief, knowing the predator wasn't after her this time. Only then did she notice how tight the corridor was. There wasn't even enough room to turn around in the windowless space. Her only option was through the door ahead...

As the Lambeosaurid fled, the creature tripped over a tire, the Lambeosaur tripped head over heels, breaking it's own neck, the now dead herbivore coming to a stop right outside the doorway leading into the building where Pyro was, Spike slowed down to a stop, then began to dig into the kill, unaware of the Lily's presence...
