Aircrest moved across the branch he was on slowly, vision of the new arrival obscured by the leaves. He inched his way so that he was just over the raptor's back. With each step, he was sure not to disturb anything or make the branch shake before finally pouncing. The green raptor fell through the winding branches, slamming down onto the orange raptor's back and causing his legs to buckle. Aircrest pinned him to the ground and then moved a foot up, planting it at the back of the stranger's head. Leaves rained down around the two dromeosaurs. "That really wasnt smart...standing under a tree like that, after all, death strikes fast from above... so...wanna tell me why I was being followed...?"

Red eye hissed in suprise from the other raptor dropping down on him, but didn't thrash. He calmly growled:"I was not following you with the intent of attacking you. I was following you because I noticed that you seem to be alone and I was suprised that another of you were venturing through this area on your own."

"You know, theres a life style some creatures adopt. Its called being a loner... and for all you know, I could be alone because Im a blood thirsty murderer" Aircrest growled, tapping his sickle claw on the back of the raptor's head, not pressing hard enough to slice the flesh, knowing that there was a thin line between poking something with it...and stabbing it through their skull. Regardless, Aircrest didnt believe what he was being told...though he'd have his fun

Red eye growled:"If you are indeed a murder, then there is something about your behavior right now that has made me a bit skeptical." He doubted that this raptor was indeed a cold blooded killer because it had the oportunity to kill him or start torturing him, yet despite the claw he felt on the back of his head and how it had ambushed him, it hadn't done anything else beyond speak...

"Perhaps Im the type that likes to know his victims before he kills them?" Aircrest barked. "But never the less. You said your interested in me being alone....arent you yourself alone?" He asked, still on alert for an ambush...

Red eye growled:"I am alone in that I have no pack to live with. On the other hand, I do have an ally in the form of a spinosaur, although I'm not going to call on him now unless I'm given a reason."

"I could go for a chase..." Aircrest thought. He smirked. "Because a strange raptor sitting ontop of you with a claw to your head isnt a good reason to call your 'friend'...that is, assuming he's real." He barked to the orange dinosaur

Red Eye growled:"If you doubt the existance of my friend and the truthfulness of my words that I won't try to call him for help, why not look into my eyes?" If this other raptor looked into his eyes, he would see that he was telling the truth and hopefully, convince it to be less hostile...

"Sorry, not gonna fall for that" Aircrest barked, thinking that the stranger was trying to get Aircrest to release him. "Though, I have to give you points for effort, really, that was quite original of you!" He hissed. He assumed this raptor knew the Spinosaur back in the lake. He let out a hissing snicker. Orange raptor, orange sailed Spinosaur. Who would've thought?

Red Eye hissed:"I assure you I am telling you the truth about my reasons for following your scents and of the Spinosaur. Yet it sounds like you're regarding my words with ammusement than serious consideration, as your snicker seems to suggest."

"Probably because I am...I mean, seriously now...a lone raptor who tags along with a spinosaur interested by another loner? Its not that much of a spectacle, just some time ago, I met a loner Liliensternus. Aside from the fact I never saw one before then, it was pretty damn normal" Aircrest growled, before sighing after. "Look, its getting late and this is just a waste of time" He snarled before kicking off of Red eye, shooting back to the branches above, digging the claws on his hands into the bark and then hauling the rest of his body up until he could plant his feet firmly on the limb. He looked down to the raptor and barked "Next time when you try to ambush someone...dont step on a twig...then go out into the open looking for them afterwards, K?"

Red eye growled to Aircrest:"I was not intending to ambush you. My reason for being interested in your prescense here is because most of the other predators in this part of this odd island happen to be large ones."

"Well congrats. You've just seen another of your own species. Theres a pack of four some ways down where I came" Aircrest hissed sarcastically. "Tell your friends I said hi!" He barked before running along the branch, leaping into another tree soon after...

Red eye sighed to himself, then decided to continue his walk. However, rather than doing so from the ground, he lept up into the trees, using his claws to grip the bark. Once his feet were firmly on the limbs, he set off in a different direction, making sure that it wasn't the direction the other raptor was heading in. If he caught it's scent again, he would stay clear of it. "So much for this being an interesting encounter with one of my kind in an area of this strange land where most of the predators are large ones.", he thought to himself...

Spike, smelling somethnig out of the ordinary, lifted his head up from the kill, the smell of Tyrannosaru entered the Spinosaru's nostrils, Spike began to growl in the direction the smell came from, Lightfoot and GOldeye also jeared their heads up out of the kill, they too smellnig the Rex scent...

another low thump was heard as the Rex took a step forward, more of his body being shown from behind the building, his head, neck and part of his flank visible, the rest still hidden by the building. the Rex's predatory eyes narrowed. those were definately the ones. he wasn't interested in them at the moment, butthe Liliensternus' scent was strong here. Switchblade was definately still around, and he didn't intend to leave until he knew where she was and what kind of condition she was in. from waht he had learned of her in the past, it was very likely these predators, or one of them at least, chased her into one of the structures, and that she was stuck there...

Blade cocked his head. "I suppose it's the best we'll get in this place" growled the Allosaur as he straightened, loosening up, before glancing at Alira, as if waiting for her to go ahead...

Spike's eyes narrowed as he saw the Tyrannosaur reveal itself, the spino's eyes then widened in shock and horror as he recognized the scars on it's face. He knew now that he was dealing with a beast that every other Spinosaur feared, one that others had descrbed as an unstoppable juggernaut, one that had overthrown the old ruelr of the island, Thrasher, and massacred Spinosaurs laft and right. the bull Spino knew that he couldn't stand a chance against Crusher, and so did Goldeye and Lightfoot, whom also saw the tyrant lizard king. Deciding not to give up their meal, Spike bit down onto the tail portion, and ripped it off, throwing it to the side, the Spino then bit down onto the dead Lambeosaur's neck and, with the help of GOldeye, began to drag it off into the woods, Lightfoot simply glared at Crusher, as if to taunt the Re, before he too took off after Spike and Goldeye, his middle toe still hurt and the back of his tail still aching after his last encounter with the Spinosaur...

Gothmog watches the fight between Spike and Crusher from on top of a hill, a dinosaur's corpse hanging from his maw, the Giganotosaur ready to be entertained........

Switchblade's nostrils flared briefly as she caught wind of a new scent. Something big... and familiar. Her head lifted so quickly off the floor, she nearly hit it on the underside of the table. Wary but intrigued, the Lili pushed herself out of her hiding spot and rose up to peer out the window. Her gaze swept the ground below, but she couldn't make anything out from where she was. Since she had also faintly heard a thumping noise coming from around the front of the building, that would be the obvious place to look for the source. She turned and headed back to the hallway, turning to walk toward the front of the building. Normally she would have just stayed hidden, being relatively safe up in a second floor room under a table. But the scent was familiar, though with all the human and saurian scent contamination, it was hard to identify. The Lili stepped through the door she'd opened earlier, but didn't turn down the stairs, just continued down the corridor toward where it opened to the air at the end. Knowing full well she wasn't even going to attempt to go back to ground level while the other predators were still around, the Lili slowly crept up to the broken window, keeping as quiet as possible until she found out just who the scent belonged to. Lowering her head and moving forward so that she was just barely peering over the edge, her amber eyes narrowed as she caught sight of part of a huge shape in the darkness, just around the building's corner...

Crusher watched on, an amused look in his eyes. it seemed his appearance and name were enough to discourage others from challenging him. he was surprised. though he made sure not to expect that reaction every time. The Patriarch walked forward, nearing where the Spinosaur and it's two apparent friends had been before retreating. he took nother long sniff of the air, trying to track Switchblade's scent more accurately...

Elsewhere, a dark figure moved through the corridors of the abandoned human structures. occasionally the faint crunch of bone being cracked and broken underfoot would be heard, as the predator found the sheer amount of skeletons impossible to avoid. the Deinonychus' dark orange eyes glanced around warily, both for potential attackers and for different ways to go. the labyrinthine caves these humans called home were both incredibly organised, and incredibly alike. it made finding hi way through it that much more difficult. still, it also meant it'd be very hard for anything other than humans to take him by surprise. that was one thing to be thankful for...
