Selena let out a barking laugh. "you could ask him if you run into him," she growled. She looked down at Alira, suddenly glad she'd run into the female again. Funny how quickly luck can turn, she thought. Though, considering I'm on this strange island, my luck is still pretty bad. At least now I know someone I can trust is here.

[TyrannoTitan]

"Funny...what was the deal with Selena, then? Just happened to risk your neck for random females?" Darkness growled, though he wasn't really surprised.

"That was NOT a scout..." Tyreal hissed, having regrouped with Axle some distance from where they spotted the Allosaurs. "And if by some chance it was, its as good as dead with those things around. They did our job for us." she explained, though Axle was still unsure. "It looked like a trap...like they purposely led us there. Maybe they know the Allosaurs? Maybe the scout is leaving right now to tell the rest?!" Axle hissed frantically, Tyreal rolling her eyes at his paranoia.

"I meant a pack, you insufferable little leech" Aircrest growled lazilly. "A pack...hatchlings...nothing of the sort" He shook his head as he barked "I thought Selena and I could be together happilly wandering about the island." He paused, sighing. "But, in retrospect...I can't expect her to live like that, not forever."

[TyrannoTitan]

"Aw, hiding your selfishness behind good intentions? Once again...I am not surprised." Darkness growled mockingly.

[C S]

"I really should thank you for that, actually" Aircrest growled, looking at the raptor. "You brought some things to my attention last time we spoke... things about myself that I'd like to change. So, thank you Darkness. Like I said before, Im too tired to debate with you"

[TyrannoTitan]

"Just know that it was not my intention to help. My intention was to hurt." Darkness growled proudly, smirking.

[C S]

"You havent realized by now that I couldnt care less of your intentions?" Aircrst hissed. "It'd be a waste of effort trying to find out what drives you to do the things you do" He growled matter of factly. "Regardless, I still have some gratitude...even if its misplaced"

[TyrannoTitan]

"And I take that as an insult." Darkness growled blankly. "If I didn't feel like tormenting you, you'd be dead right now...just so you know." he continued, yawning.

[C S]

"Life must be pretty boring for you, huh?" Aircrest growled, laying his head down on the grassy floor. "So much to see and do...and the best thing you can do to keep yourself occupied is kill and torment?" He asked. "And Steeltalon fell in love with you....how exactly?"

[TyrannoTitan]

Darkness shrugged. "It remains a mystery. She wasn't exposed to the...'real me' for very long, though. Maybe that has something to do with it." he growled, staring off into space a moment, thinking. He let out a suppressed sigh, before turning his attention back toward Aircrest...

[C S]

"You must miss her" Aircrest said simply, looking past the raptor. His gaze staired off into the forest as recalled his own memories of past love...

[TyrannoTitan]

"Don't get sentimental." Darkness snarled, suddenly agitated. "Steeltalon took the coward's way out, and left her family to rot. I was left to pick up the pieces. Not even the mongrels we took in and treated as friends ever helped what remained of our family." he continued, anger rising, though obviously not at Aircrest. "As I said...having a family changed me...but when it all fell apart...some of that change went with it." Darkness snarled, flexing his claws instinctively.

"Blade and Switchblade?" Aircrest growled, looking back at Darkness. "They left you after she died?"

[TyrannoTitan]

"Blade had no part in it. He left long before then to pursue his own goals. But yes...the accident prone waste of space known as 'Switchblade' was involved." Darkness growled, shaking his head.

[C S]

"Harsh" Aircrest growled as to what Darkness said about the liliensternus. "But...understandable" He couldnt understand why his pack would just abandon him, especially after losing the one he loved. It would be like him finding Ripper keeled over one day and just walking by...-
He shook his head. No wonder the raptor was so bitter.

[TyrannoTitan]

Darkness nodded, but then stopped for a moment, realizing something. "...How do you know Blade and Switchblade? Last I checked you were just Selena's lacky...and I don't think I'm old enough to start losing my memory..." he growled, intrigued. He knew that both Blade's scent and Aircrest's scent were outside the cave where Fatalis and his ilk were living...but he thought it was just a coincidence.

[C S]

"One, I was never a 'lackey'." Aircrest snarled. "Two, I ran into Blade back on Sorna, and again after I left you this morning. I met Switchblade not too long ago, just by the lakes"

[The Kingpin]

Blade chuckled. "I plan to" he growled. looking up at the faintly lit sky, the indigo wisps finally overwhelming the gold, orange and red of the sky as the sun disappeared beneath the horizon. night had finally grasped this dead island. Blade let his head rest on a moss covered root, before glancing at Alira, gesturing towards Selena, as if asking her opinion of her, or, more precisely, whether to let her rest with them for the night...

"Interesting. I might have to pay Switchblade a visit sometime..." Darkness growled, smirking.

"Ussually I'd try to stop you" Aircrest snorted. "But in this case... do what you need to do"
