Alira caught the look and gesture and glanced swiftly at Selena, who was settling into a more comfortable position on the branch. She looked back at the male, tipping her head first one way and then the other with a neutral expression. She didn't have a problem with letting the raptor stay; in fact, Selena looked as if she were too tired to try and find another place to rest. Alira wouldn't force her to leave.

"Now you see what happens when you know what you're actually talking about? I don't kill without reason..." Darkness growled, thinking for a moment. "...only my reasons are as simple as 'I felt like it'." he snarled, shrugging.

"You can stay with us if you like Selena. would probably save you the trouble of dealing with whatever pack our two visitors were part of" growled Blade lowly, a smile on the Allosaur's face as he looked up tiredly at the Raptor...

"....So your still mad about the Selena thing?" Aircrest barked. It seemed pretty logical. The only reason Darkness hated him so must've been the fight they got into back on the island.

Selena let out a quiet, relieved sigh, shoulders relaxing visibly. "Thanks, Blade. And thank you, Alira," she added, looking down at the female allosaur. Alira nodded, closing her eyes.

Blade nodded, letting his head rest on the mossy root once more, a low growl audible. "Anything for a friend"...

Selena rested her chin on the branch, unable to help casting one last glance at Alira before her eyes closed. It didn't take long to fall asleep; it had been a tiring day.

Beneath her, Alira had slipped into a light slumber. Tired as she was, she was unsettled by the strangeness of this place, making it hard to relax enough to give up her hold on consciousness.

"I don't let such insignificant things effect me...unlike you." Darkness retorted blankly. "You were a blind fool who took no time to question my side of the story. That's the end of it."

"Oh yes. I'd ask you, 'Why are you trying to kill her?' when you are in the middle of taking her hostage- especially after hearing that you'd kill without a second thought" Aircrest hissed in his familiar sarcastic way.

Switchblade cracked a small smile, the idea of Crusher roaming the area for a while putting her more at ease. "That would be much appreciated... And good luck with finding.... territory." Just before she finished the sentence, the Lili paused, attempting to stifle a yawn. Lightly shaking her head, which gave a twinge of pain in response, she added, "Sorry... Had kind of a long day..."

"It shows you believe anything you hear, if nothing else." Darkness growled, shaking his head. "Usually one has to ask why, if he is risking his life. Even I have done this...though I usually didn't like the answer." he explained bluntly.

"I did know why I was risking my life for her, just not your intention for wanting her dead. Not that it matters now" Aircrest replied with a bark. "Like I said. I stopped caring about your motives"

"A good thing, too. You wouldn't like what you found." Darkness growled simply.

Crusher smiled. "Then you're entitled to rest. come on. there's a small lake not far from here. we can use that as our stop for the day before we look for Ripper" he growled as he turned towards the way he came...

Fatalis made a low hiss to gently wake up the others. it was dark now. Predators relying on ambush tactics would find them as little more than easy snacks if they stayed out here. Fatalis was good at detecting creatures surrounding him. very good. but not good enough to make it fool proof...

the Deinonychus drifted through the shadows. as the sun went down he had moved indoors. many of the smaller herbivores would do likewise to escape the likes of Carnotaurs hiding in the shadows, and he intended to capitalise on their fear. free food, minimal effort he thought with a smirk. using back doors and alleys he could traverse the dangerous city streets unhindered, and keep track of prey from the shadows. the eerie orange eyes in the dark were frequently the first and last things any creature saw before Hellfire struck, the death quick, clean, and most of all....silent...

The Lili gave a nod, glancing backwards down the black corridor. "Sounds good... Uh, let me just get down from here... Only take a second..." With that, she turned around in the small hallway and trotted back along the path, quickly coming to the stairwell and turning down its winding steps, moving a bit more slowly so as not to trip. When she reached the bottom, where the path split off in either direction, she shot a quick glance first one way, then the other before trotting to the door she came through, ducking out and trotting in the direction the Rex was heading, thinking that, this one time anyway, she might be able to sleep completely through the night...

Rhojis' dark amber eye opened halfway, the raptor semi-consciously wondering what had woken him before remembering the past day. Tail starting to uncurl, he tilted his head up to look for the raptor above him, still blinking to get his eyes to focus. On the opposite side of the tree, Sylicora yawned widely, claws flexing as her limbs slowly stretched themselves. "We leaving already?" she hissed groggily...

Crusher led onwards for several minutes before coming to a hault on the edge of an outcrop of young trees, most barely knee height to him, as was the case with most trees in this formerly tree-less place. ahead was a small lake. the Rex took a few steps forward, taking a drink, making sure the water was clean and safe, before layind down on the edge of the lake, curling away from it, knowing it'd be harder fro anything to attempt an attack from the water than the opposite direction, meaning he could afford to sleep facing the trees rather than the water...

"It's dark. we need to get into one of the human caves. too dangerous to stay out at night. Carnotaurs and the like" hissed Fatalis simply as he leapt out of the tree, hardly a rustle being heard as he left his post, landing with a faint thud on the ground by the Raptors...

Howler also groggily awoke, eyes half-open as he regarded Fatalis. He grumbled something underneath his breath, but didn't say anything aloud...

"Uneventful. Fatalis and his hatchlings too busy playing like adults to have any actual interaction." Darkness growled bitterly. "And yes, even I like to talk to others from time to time...doesn't mean I do it very well, though."

"I wouldnt believe it if I hadnt seen it" Aircrest replied dryly. "I mean, seeing you with a pack of mutants on the island, visiting Fatalis...talking to me right now...It would've blown my mind, really" He added, swinging his head back and fourth with each word...
