"Those unfortunate enough to be involved..." Darkness answered.

"Then you do have my sympathy Darkness. For more than one reason" Aircrest hissed. "But my life concerns no one but myself. How I live it is my choice alone. Theres only two creature that I have a debt to pay them. When I do, that's when my life will have meaning." He growled, looking to the ground. An image of the elder appeared in his mind, moving swiftly through the old building back on Sorna. Another image of a raptor standing in a shade appeared in his mind after, her features obscured, leaving a dark silouette...

After following Fatalis in, the two glanced around, splitting off to different parts of the room. Sylicora climbed into a recliner, rearranging herself a few times before she seemed mostly comfortable. Her tail hung off the end of the footrest, neck somewhat twisted around so her snout sat atop a large armrest, limbs drawn up close to her body. "Hm. At least its soft..." Rhojis simply took a spot on the floor where a few articles of clothing had been left scattered in the corner. After kicking them into a small pile, he lay down, body lightly curved toward the middle of the room, glancing briefly at the others before closing his eyes...

"For paying back others? You don't understand the concept of selflessness, do you?" Darkness questioned, pausing a moment. "...You know, we are alike in so many ways..." he growled, smirking.

Howler found his own spot in the corner of the room, on a large, overstuffed armchair that barely fit his body when he curled up, though he had to admit Sylicora was right about how soft it was...

"No." Aircrest growled. "I cant see myself doing something for anyone just out of the goodness of my heart. I wouldnt be in my right mind" He added after a breif moment, looking up to the moss covered limbs that criss crossed above. With a sigh, he sorted "...How are we even remotely similar?"

"The inability to feel anything for anyone. Other then hate, of course." Darkness growled, shrugging. "Ignoring the constant slaughter, we are a lot alike..."

"You'd be wrong about that" Aircrest barked, keeping his answer vague. The only one living that Aircrest would willingly go out of his way for would be Ripper, as the elder had done for him once. Once his debt was paid, the raptor could go back on with his life as he had done so for years...

"I've yet to see any reason otherwise." Darkness retorted.

"Then keep your eyes peeled" Aircrest replied simply, readying his legs. "Well this was a good chat...but really, Ive got a busy day tomorrow" With one powerful kick, the green raptor launched himself into the air. He hooked his hands on a tree branch and hauled himself onto it, before kicking off of it and launching into the next tree, landing on a slightly higher branch, repeating until he found a suitable spot to spend the night...

Gothmog awakens from a deep sleep he had been in. He didn't know hwere he was, he was lost, and it was hard to see. Nonetheless, the giganotosaur rose shakily to his feet, taking in a big sniff of air before continuing to head west..............

Shredder perked his head up into the air, sniffing, before snapping his jaws in slight frustration. He's lost the trail of the animal he'd been tracking, due to many new, massive scents clouding the path. From what he could smell, he was dangerously close to another large theropod. The smell of fresh blood reeked, flooding the airways near him, presumably from the animal, or something it killed. He stepped closer into Central Park, warily keeping his guard up, moving eastward...

The massive Giga, still recovering from his fight with the Spinosaurus, looks around wildly in an attempt to find himself easy prey......

As night made things pitch-black, Shredder came nearer and nearer to the blood he could smell, hoping it was a free meal he could steal off of the big predator that was very close to it. He sniffed the air again, lifting his head high, before walking on. Abruptly, he stopped, concealed behind a shady patch of trees and woodland, to see a Giga ahead, looking for something. He searched for the meat and blood he could smell... after looking more closely at the Giga, it became apparent that the blood was coming off of it. Seeing that it was in no condition to fight, Shredder slowly stepped out into the open, in plain sight of the creature...

OOC: oh for god's sake. you guys were both in a perfect position to just knock yourselves out. night's been there for over a page and a half now. i'm FFing...

the sun rose over Manhatten the next morning, beams of golden light streaking through the towering structures of the city, shafts of light breaking through the clouds and washing down onto the ground below. the Rex stirred, eyes opening, cyan orbs glancing around, pupils narrowing to slits, adjusting to the bright light. the Rex glanced towards where Switchblade had slept, standing up. he wondered how he was going to find Ripper...that was practically the very definition of impossibility...but he had to try. Switchblade at least deserved to be with friends...

Fatalis stood up, getting off the overly soft couch, loosening up and stretching, a series of cracking sounds along his spine indication of how inadequate that spot was for rest. Though it did feel nice.. thought the Raptor. he let out a low hiss to wake the others. it was time to get back to the trees, and see if they couldn't make some progress. after that, he'd probably continue moving...with a kill as big as a muttaburrasaur nearby, it was almost guaranteed there'd be a larger predator there soon, if there wasn't one already...

OOC: Huh? I must've missed something.......

Gothmog sees the Spinosaurus, thanks to the fact that dawn had broken over the horizon. The Giganotosaurus lets out a loud roar, loud enough to awaken any creatures within a short distance. Despite Gothmog having the setback of being wounded, the Giganotosaurus stands his ground, the titanic dinosaur not going to let this Spinosaur take advantage of his weakness........

Aircrest laid on his branch, a leg twitching, his eyelids fluttering. Moments of his life kept playing out in his dreams. Seemingly random memories that his talk with Darkness had brought up. He let out gruff snorts through out the last minutes of his sleep, before his eyes shot open. His pupils shrunk in the rays of the yellow ball of fire in the sky. Panting hard, the raptor thought "Oh look...Darkness actually let me sleep the rest of the night..."

By morning, Darkness was sleeping comfortably by the lakes, perched in one of the trees lining the water. The shadows made by the tree almost completely obscured the raptor from view, making it a perfect spot to rest...

Switchblade's eyes snapped open at the sounds of movement nearby, the Liliensternus quickly becoming alert, a habit that had developed from many tense mornings of unidentified footsteps and close calls. This time though, she calmed again almost immediately, uncurling and getting to her feet, stretching out her sinuous form, already mostly awake. Her gaze landed on the lake's glittering surface and she moved forward, squinting against the rising sun as she left the patchy tree cover for the lakeside, lowering her head to the water for a tentative lap...

The twin raptors woke a bit more quickly than they had the previous night, though Sylicora seemed reluctant to give up her soft spot in the recliner. She waited until Rhojis had roused himself and gotten to his feet before finally pushing herself up with a stretch of her mildly cramped neck and hopping down...

Shredder chuckled, before moving forward in the direction of the roaring Giga, placing his feet down cautiously each time, his guard up once more...
