"It didnt know I was a loner" Aircrest replied, his voice muffled as he spoke through another slab. "Either it was inexperianced...or really stupid. Not that it matters anyway. Its problems are over"

Not too far away from Crushr, Darkness, and Switchy, Lightfoot lurks at the edge of the forest, the Ceratosaur overhears the conversation going on, which intrests im deeply for some reason, th male Ceratosaur stayed silent, hoping that his camoflauge would prevent him from being seen...

Selena grunted her agreement. What she'd managed to pull from the galli Alira had brought down hadn't really been enough. The allosaur had eaten most of it before she'd left and Selena had had the chance to steal a few bites. Said allosaur growled, "You certainly sound it. Now that you mention it, yes, I am."

Renegade had eaten his way through a good bit of the hidden corpse he had found. He was starving from not eating for days, and wasting energy not being able to catch anything. He dug through more, not wanting to waste anything. Who knew when his next meal would be?

"Ya...I don't exactly feel like killing her..." Darkness growled plainly, yawning once again.

"I didn't specify what you did feel like doing in her regard. What i was asking was will you leave her alone?" answered Crusher, well used to Darkness' habits after all these years...

"Alright then. now we're getting somewhere....you two gonna help me bring down our meal or am i gonna have to do this alone?" growled the Allosaur...

Switchblade had simply been glancing between Crusher and Darkness, but at the raptor's words, had to resisted muttering, Well that's a good thing. As nervous as she was about the dark raptor, it irked her that he was so casual about the idea of slaughtering her. Even though her skills and size had grown since their last encounter, she doubted it would do much more than prolong her suffering if he ever did decide to make her life miserable... or end it altogether...

"Yes yes, that's what I meant." Darkness growled, slightly annoyed.

"Good to hear" growled Crusher, eyes narrowing at the tone of annoyance he picked up in Darkness' voice. he wasn't particularly convinced, but he'd likely let Switchblade have free access to the territory after the Ripper situation was done with...

Hellfire didn't say anything, continuing to feed, hunger taking priority over discussion at the moment...

Shredder, satisfied, lurched his way out of the water, feeling the slight stinging sensation that always came from the human's water, when it made physical contact with wounds or abrasions. He stepped out of the pit made by the broken, blue, spherical figure, that was obviously made by the humans, filled with water. It looked like it had used to be on a tall tower, but had fallen down, cracking open, and creating a large indent on the ground, a slight crater, which had then filled up with the water that used to be contained in the blue sphere...

"You kidding?" Selena barked, starting to pace with an eager gleam in her eye. "I've missed hunting with others." Alira added quietly, "And I owe you this much, at least." The black and red female rolled her shoulders, loosening the muscles.

"Dont choke, now" Aircrest growled after swallowing another mouthfull of iguanodon. He clawed a peice of flesh and stripped it away with his maw, working it down to his throat before downing it. "So....did Ripper give you my message, Hellfire?" He barked after.

Pulsar was in the shadows of the trees, dead center of Central Park, watching a small herd of Maiasaura, wondering if he should try his luck. He shook his head. He was too weak; he'd just waste more fuel and energy trying to catch them. He tried to jump up into a tree, but staggered, and tripped over an upturned root, and fell flat on his stomach. He tried to get up, and fell over again.
I'm too weak... he thought. He mustered his energy, and barely managed to get up, shaking slightly. His vision was blurry, and he took a few slow, weak steps, still shaking abnormally with each one. He needed sustenance, and fast, if he was to survive. He knew this was the last chance he may get for food, and so, against his better judgment, readied himself to hunt the pack he was so close too. He set off at a run, going at a slower-than-normal pace, and went after a younger looking, medium sized Maiasaurus, slightly away from the rest of them. The vulnerable dinosaur realized Pulsar's presence slightly too late. The weakened raptor managed to jump toward it, as it began running away, and got a slash off at it's flank, but Pulsar couldnt hang on, and fell heavily onto the ground, slightly injured. The herd, frightened, stampeded away, leaving the raptor on it's side, laying in the grass. He let out a sigh of frustration, and hopelessness. He once more tried to get up, and managed to crouch for a few seconds, before collapsing in a heap on the field again, his exhausted body and weak legs unable to support his weight.
He let out a loud call, letting it ring out so that any raptor within a mile would hear it, and know where he was. His eyes closed, and his breathing slowed as he fell unconscious...

The two glanced at each other again, Sylicora tilting her head slightly before her brother hissed, "Might as well come with you." He glanced at the door, about to start off through it when he paused. Sylicora paused too, narrowing her eyes slightly and hissing what Rhojis was thinking, "Did you hear something?"

Hellfire stopped eating, unmoving fo a few moments, before lifting his head and eying Aircrest. "Yes, he did" he hissed...

Fatalis nodded. "Can't tell what it was. whatever it is, it's a long way off. anyway. let's get going. the earlier we find out whether we've got a meal to go back to, the sooner we can decide whether we need to hunt anything. the later in the day we leave it, the more alert the herbivores will be. it'll be harder to hunt them" he hissed. and with that, he walked out of the building, heading for the kill not too far off...

"Alright then" growled Blade as he looked at Alira and Selena. "Let's see what we can find" he added as he loosened up, before setting off further into the forested area of the city, where he knew the herbivores would likely congregate for food...

"Great. Now I need to track him down again to say thanks" The raptor growled before tearing off another part of the sauropod. "So how've you been since I left, aside from hungry?" He snorted

The green raptor gave a small shrug, at which point she and Rhojis turned and walked out behind Fatalis. They still wondered about the sound, but the thought of food, or what could be waiting for them when they got to the kill soon pushed it out of their minds as they walked, keeping their eyes open for anything unusual...

The two females followed, Selena having to walk a little faster to keep up with the bigger predators' longer strides.

Howler followed close behind Sylicora and Rhojis, more keen on not getting separated than watching his surroundings for the time being...

Bloodsail had long since awoken, taking advantage of his sail to warm up quickly in the dawn sun to get the jump on the still-sluggish herbivores. He stomped through Central Park, following the scent of prey...
