The small pack of raptors soon reached their kill, Fatalis watching with an almost knowing look as he saw the raptor eating away at the corpse. "Oh yes, by all means, enjoy the kill" he hissed, more to get the Raptor's attention than anything...

"Been exploring. finding good hunting spots, safe spots to rest, possible retreats when i don't want to be bothered, good sources of water. several things. not that many Deinonychus here...pack and mate are still not on my list of priorities" hissed the Deinonychus as he continued to feed...

Blade soon found a scent that caught his interest......Stegosaurus. and by the smell of things, this one was alone. a young female was lumbering through the trees ahead, heading for a spot Blade had gone through the previous day. a water source. he glanced back at the other two. "OK. found the food. now we need a plan...Selena, can we trust you to distract it while we sneak in?" growled Blade...

"Exploring" Aircrest repeated. He marveled at the word, and started clawing at his kill, trying to eat his full so he can burn it off navigating this new place, and the regions around it if possible. After swallowing a few more bits of meat, he growled "Ive met a few old friends, strangers and nemesis since we last met, Hellfire. You can carry good conversation with Darkness. I know, it blew my mind too"

"Even the most pessimistic creatures have good days" hissed Hellfire with a smirk...

"I...doubt it...considering before we talked...we got into a brawl in a tree until we fell..." Aircrest growled. "I dunno. He said we were a lot alike. What a load of Brachio-sh*t, right?" He barked before sticking his maw back into the carcass...

Renegade's head snapped up, with a sibilant hiss, as he heard the unfamiliar voice. He looked slightly to the left, and saw the group of raptors standing there.
He let out a wary breath... perhaps if he could just talk his way out of the situation...
"Who are you?" He asked, trying not to make his voice sound aggressive...

"Oh...well, you see, i'm a Raptor....and these are my pack mates......who are...also...Raptors. what does it look like?" hissed Fatalis cheerfully...

"Can't say. don't know him well enough. i know he likes killing, but when taken into perspective, don't we all?" growled Hellfire. "Both of you are very persistent when it comes to something you want or otherwise are attached to. both of you have an interesting outlook on life....and both of you are more alone than most others...so i suppose, in a way, he's right. though you'd need someone whose known him for a while to really compare...Ripper could probably tell you" he added after a few moments of thought, continuing to eat afterwards...

"That'd be an interesting question. 'Hey Ripper, do you think Im like a mentally unstable raptor who has a grudge with everyone from his past?' I cant wait to ask him that" Aircrest barked sarcastically before tearing into the kill viciously, as if it was still alive. The last thing he could ever want was to be like Darkness. It made his blood boil. Despite his reasons for what he's done in life, Darkness was still a monster. It was an insult for anyone to even imply that they were remotely similar...

"We're here for the kill we took down yesterday" answered Fatalis simply...

"Get back to me when you get the answer. i'd love to hear what he says" hissed Hellfire with a smirk, continuing to feed, the flank of the Homalocephale skeletonised by this point...

"Of course you would" Aircrest said, pulling his head out of the carcass. There was still a considerable amount of meat left on its bones. "You can have the rest if your still hungry after that thing's bare" The green raptor snarled. He leapt over the iguanodon, heading to the lake for a drink.

Renegade slowly turned his head downward to look at the mostly-eaten corpse that lay below him, aware of his blood-painted snout.
"Uhh... I'd ssssay it'ssss a little too late to take back my actionsss..." he hissed apprehensively, slowly turning to back away...

"It's enough for one more feeding session....won't feed us completely, but i wasn't expecting it to after a night exposed to hungry predators. this IS a Muttaburrasaur afterall....plenty of food to go around" growled Fatalis as he walked forward. "Going somewhere?" he hissed once he was next to the kill. the legs still had a decent amount of meat on them, as did the tail, and the stomach was, though mostly voided of organs, still a good source of food, half a lung and a piece of the liver left, as well as the flesh of the unexposed flank. glancing back at the other three, he nodded towards the kill, silently telling them to eat. if it wasn't enough, he'd get something small and satisfying for himself later...

"Yes," Selena hissed quietly, already working on a strategy, her eyes locked on the target and trying to work out just what its reach would be if she accidentally got close enough to make it swing that spiked tail. She started to stalk away from the two allosaurs, keeping her steps quick and light and being careful where she put her feet. She kept her head low, taking advantage of gaps in the vegetation to check the position of their prey.

"Thissss meanssss you wont mind, should I continue eating here?" The raptor inquired, still suspicious that this was some kind of plot or trap. They seemed friendly enough, but you never knew for sure...

"We're all opportunists here. if you get a chance, take it. just because we killed it doesn't mean it's only ours. sure, the pack takes priority, but if there's something left i won't forbid others from eating what's left" hissed Fatalis...

Aircrest dipped his head into the water, blood running off of his jaws. He closed his eyes as he drank, trying to calm down. After a few moments, he raised his head out, water running down his jaws. For a moment, the raptor stared at his reflection in the water, before droplets fell into the image and sent ripples to distort it. He let out a sigh and then waded into the unnatrual lake, blood lifting off his claws and hide...

Howler shrugged and, ignoring the conversation, stepped forward and hopped onto the carcass, tearing into the base of the tail...

Fatalis smirked. "Trust me raptor, if i wanted you dead i'd've killed you before you even knew i was here. Besides, Why spill blood when there's enough food to go around?" he hissed...

Blade glanced at Alira, growling "Once Selena gets it's attention, we hit it from the sides. it'll likely see me as the bigger threat, but keep near the front just in case. once we have it on the ground, simply snap of the neck should suffice. agreed?"...

the stegosaur walked through the thick vegetation slowly, stopping occasionally to strip the leaves off a bush, continuing onwards towards the watering hole...

The siblings noted Fatalis' signal, starting to walk around to the Muttaburrasaur's open flank, trying to keep their move nonthreatening since noticing the raptor's suspicion. Not entirely trusting of the raptor themselves, the two kept a wary eye on him as they crouched down to pull out what was left of the kill's internal organs...
