"Fairly good, to be honest" hissed Ripper in response. "Crusher being the son of one of my best friends, i make sure to keep tabs on him. more so than most others i know...with the possible exception of a couple of Raptors, one of which Darkness hates to deal with, last i checked" growled the Elder as he glanced towards the Liliensternus. "So what is it you wanted to know, Switchblade?" he growled...

"This place is full of strange creatures" hissed Hellfire with a shrug...

Aircrest let out a shrill shriek, part of the call caught in his throat and warbling, which startled the giant birds. They scattered, their feathers fluttering as they darted through the under growth with speed to rival a raptor it seemed. Blinking a few times, the raptor shrugged aswell. "Strange" He repeated with a growl

The Lili blinked. Even though Crusher already mentioned it earlier, she was still impressed by the fact that someone who was a complete stranger to her had just instantly recognized her. "Huh... Well, I was wondering if you knew the location of a large pack of around thirty mutant raptors... Wait, how did you know I wanted to ask you something? I don't recall anyone mentioning that just now..."

Bloodsail, not even distracted by the small cuts on his legs, spun as Fatalis passed between his legs, backhanding the raptor into the bushes with a powerful swipe of his forelimb. The Spinosaur roared, waiting for the predator to reemerge...

As spike tried to nudge Goldeye awake, he turned to see Lightfoot emerge from the trees, the Ceratosaur out of breath having dashed so fast for so long. "I was beginning to wonder where you had gone off to..." Spike hissed irritably at Lightfot, the Ceratosaur shrinking back. "I just barely escaped from Crusher's grasp, okay?" Lightfoot panted back...

"Ripper has a problem with eaves dropping. Get used to it." Darkness growled, shrugging.

OOC: whoops....thought i had Crusher mention it to Ripper in an earlier post O.o

Ripper chuckled at the comment Darkness made, growling "I try and make a habit of knowing what others want of me. as your luck would have it, you two were discussing me just as i got within earshot. unfortunately exhaustion prevented me from speaking sooner. I've known you two were here since last night. was in a nearby human construct when Crusher found you and mentioned me". "As for your question....i can't say for certain...but i believe there are two large mutant packs, one of which has a few of Darkness' young among it's ranks, and the other...well, there are one or two mutants among them, but most of them are normal. I believe your friend.......Sandstorm, i think his name was, is with them. aside from that, there are a few small 3 to 5 member packs forming around the area. don't take my word for it completely though. i could easily be wrong. i know much, but nobody could possibly know everything" he added as he looked towards where Lightfoot had gone. "I hope i've had something of use to you" hissed the Elder as he glanced back at Switchblade, the Raptor's fiery amber eyes looking almost too powerful and alive for a creature of his age...

"That's more like it!" barked Fatalis' voice in the bushes, the Raptor leaping from the bushes and slamming into the Spinosaur's leg, climbing up and onto the sail. "I can see my pack from here" he hissed with a smirk, claws hooked tightly to the flesh, limbs pressed against the sail, ready to kick off and away if the Spinosaur tried to use the surroundings to get him off...

Roaring angrily, Bloodsail spun around, trying to use his long snout to grab Fatalis' tail and get him off...

Fatalis climbed further up the sail, closer to the front, right in the middle, out of reach of the Spinosaur's snout as well as it's claws, continuing to hack and slash at the creature's sail. it's name was becoming more and more fitting with each strike...

Bloodsail, in a fury, slammed broadside into a tree, trying to crush the raptor attacking him...

The Lili brightened a bit when she heard her long-unseen friend's name. "Sandstorm is in another pack? Haven't seen him in ages..." she mused, before her expression faded slightly. "Hmmm... Those don't sound like the pack I'm looking for... They're all mutants, apart from one other Liliensternus... Maybe they weren't brought here..." The Lili began to wonder if maybe she'd been right to think they were still on the island. She had no recollection of her own capture. It was possible she had been alone at the time, and the others had managed to escape...

Both Sylicora and Rhojis winced in unison, the green raptor hissing, "I'm beginning to agree with you, Renegade..."

Fatalis leapt sideways when the Spinosaur tried to slam itself against the tree, moving himself to a part of the sail that wasn't in range of the tree during the slam. the Raptor tore a strip of flesh off the sail, gulping it down. "Hm. normally i don't eat carrion but i thought i'd give you a gift to remember me by. See you next time fish breath" he barked, before kicking off, disappearing into the undergrowth...

"Possible. but don't lose hope. like i said, i know alot, but by no means am i all-knowing. they could quite easily be out there, somewhere i haven't gone yet" hissed the Elder...

Seeing Fatalis disappear, Bloodsail decided the meal wasn't worth being harried by a raptor for. He'd get his revenge soon enough anyway. With another angry roar, the Spinosaur stomped off, looking for a better meal...

Fatalis leapt through the doorway to the building, skidding to a hault, almost in hysterics by this point. "That...my friends...was fun" he growled between gasps, barely containing his laughter. it had been a while since he had entertaine himself at a super predator's expense...

Renegade said nothing, but hissed his approval at Fatalis' performance. Wordlessly, he stepped between everyone, and walked out the doorway; he saw a barred metal structure leading to the top of the building (fire escape), and jumped on the bars, making a loud clang every time his clawed feet made contact with one of them. He needed time to himself, to think his decision in joining the pack through more carefully...

Sylicora and Rhojis glanced at the black-striped raptor as he made his exit, but their attention quickly turned back to Fatalis. "Took the words right out of my mouth," Sylicora hissed, an impressed look on her face. Rhojis' maw curved into a smirk as he hissed, "For a second there, I thought it had you... how are you always a step ahead?"

The Lili gave a small nod. It was hard to maintain hope when one of the most well-informed creatures around hadn't come across the pack, but he was right. Maybe they were just in an unexplored area of this strange land. "Ah. I'll keep looking then... At least I know that Sandstorm is okay... Thanks for your time, Ripper..."

the Raptor lowered his head in what could be comparable to a bow, before looking at Rhojis. "Lots, and lots of practice, and a small dose of humour to keep the amusement in it" hissed Fatalis with a smirk. he wondered where Renegade went, but decided against going after him right now...

The Elder eyed Switchblade for a few moments, seeing the discomfort in her easily, though not knowing what else he could do to reassure her. finally, he resolved to let her say if anything else could help. "Is there anything else you'd like before i leave?" he hissed...

"I don't th-" the Lili started, then paused, suddenly seeing a chance to ask something that had been at the back of her mind for a long time, though she knew what the answer would probably be. "Actually... there is. Just out of curiosity, have you seen... or even picked up the scent of any other Liliensternus at all... anywhere? Since I haven't come across any since Thorn and his brother, I don't think I'm very likely to... just wondering..."

Sylicora tilted her head curiously. "How much practice have you gotten? As much as I've heard?" she hissed with a small grin, shooting a glance at her brother. " I've never seen any other raptor do that... without becoming a blood stain..."

Renegade finally reached the top of the metal structure. He jumped off the last wrung, landing cleanly on the roof of the building. The red-orange raptor looked deeply at the darkening skye, staring directly at the orange sun, lost in thought, searching for answers. But if there were any hidden above, they didn't reveal themselves. Renegade sighed and looked back down. He liked the pack's zest and enthusiasm, but he didn't seem to fit in at all with it. He stood there, contemplating, thinking...
