The raptors both cringed slightly upon hearing about the Spinosaur attack, Rhojis particularly able to relate. "Ugh..." Sylicora recalled Fatalis' earlier explanation of the formation of their pack... After hearing his story, it made more sense. "That was... good of him... Now I kind of understand what you said before a little better..."

The raptor leaps onto the Giga's head, smashing his hand claws into the dinosaur's forehead, raking them along either side of its head...

Bloodsail, spotting the two Ceratosaurs trying to back away, charged again, circumventing the one-sided fight between Crusher and Spike and making a beeline for the smaller carnivores...

Spike, seeing Bloodsail charge at Lightfoot and Goldeye, roars at the Spino, warning it not to lay a finger on the two, or else, Spike then charged at Crusher, swiping upward with his usable arm, hitting the Rex square in the lower jaw, while Lightfoot and Goldeye shot off away from the fight, both Ceratosaurs heading toward the southern city section...

Gothmog roars again, this time flailing his head wildly, smashing down trees with his skull, the Giga hurting himself, but trying to make the raptor get off his forehead.........

Shredder was growing more and more anxious. He could hear it, and smell it.
Dinosaurs. Lots of them, most being seemingly large super-predators. It was as though there had been a gathering, the numbers were huge, compared to most times, and they were obviously fighting. He could hear fierce battle cries and challenging roars.
The camouflaged Spinosaur let his curiosity get the better of him, and wandered in their direction. They were very close by; he hoped to at least see a good fight.
With a start, he realized he had met some of these dinosaurs before, and brawled with some as well. Most prominent in his memory, he could smell the crazed Giga he had fought with earlier...

The raptor is flung off the Giga's head, but because of the dinosaur's frantic movements, the location of where the raptor lands is unknown to the Giga, giving him time to recover. Standing in the cover of the forest, the raptor could smell another scent, besides those fighting some distance away: Yet another Spinosaur. Never a fair fight with these mongrels... Darkness thought to himself, looking back toward the thrashing Giga...

gothmog decides to play it safe and leave the area for now, having wasted his energy on the raptor. why was he even bothering fighting it? It would mearly provide a mouthful if he had caught it. Nevertheless, Gothmog leaves the area until he is sure that the battle is finished........

seeing the attack coming, the Rex craned his neck, curving it backwards as he raised up and stepped back, the Spinosaur's swing zipping past his snout, missing completely, the Rex taking the chance to bite onto it's chest, twisting his head to the side to get a better grip before clamping down on it's chest, yanking back, several large gashes torn into the Spinosaur's upper torso, the Rex swinging his head to the side, forcing the Spinosaur to the ground, a low rumbling snarl coming from the Rex as he circled around the Spinosaur, watching it's actions...

"By the time he got around to teaching me what he knew, He was already longing for some form of achievement in his life. He didn't want out of the Loner's life like i do now, but he wanted to be able to look back at his life and know he had done something worth the effort. I suppose that's why he taught me" hissed Fatalis...

Shredder stepped out into an opening, only to find himself face to face with three other dinosaurs. He seemed to be blocking the path of two fleeing Ceratosaurs, running from a roaring spinosaur...

The gray raptor gave a slight nod of understanding, glancing briefly at his sister. Though she heard him just as well, Sylicora didn't give much of an indication of it, staring past Fatalis, across the room in thought. Before she came here, she thought that being a loner would be a great way to spend a life, even after the elder raptor she first met back on the island indicated otherwise. But now that she'd heard of yet another raptor who hadn't been satisfied with a solitary life, she started to wonder. After a moment, she murmured with a tilt of her head, "Guess being a loner must be a little different from what I though... But he must've done lots of other interesting things you could consider achievements too though... I mean, being so skilled, I'd think a Lone Wolf could do alot that we can't. I... don't quite understand why he felt that way..." She finished with an odd, somewhat confused expression, becoming aware of how much the comment showed her inexperience...

Still moving parallel to the edge of Central Park along a row of buildings, Switchblade suddenly slowed down and cocked her head, listening intently. For a few seconds, she heard what was apparently a fight in the distance, the sounds echoing dully off nearby structures and reflecting off pavement. Thinking it probably had something to do with the Rex she parted ways with a short time earlier, she sped up to a fast walk again, focusing once more on detecting traces of scents left by past packmates...

Ligthfoot and Goldeye slowed down, then sped to the right, bolting off the trail and into the underbrush, the trees in the area bein gjust wide enough apart to allow the Ceratosaurs passage, but too clumped together for a large mega-prdator...

Spike snarled in agony before risin gonto his feet, the onc emagnificent-appearin gSpinosaurus now a trainwreck, Spike panted heavilly, allowing the Tyrannosaurus to attack first...

The trees forced the two Ceratosaurs to move in single file, slowing them down enough for Bloodsail to snap his jaws down on one of the predator's tails and pull the Ceratosaur out of the undergrowth...

Ligthfoot roared in pain as he got yanked back. This was the second time his tail got chomped on, dangit! The Ceratosaur kicked out angrily, one of the clawed feet slashed Bloodsail right above the eye, forcing the Spino to let go, Lightfoot swiftly got back onto his feet and dashed off back nito the undergrowth and between the trees, Goldeye having slowed down so that Lightfoot could catch up...

Barely slowed down by the glancing blow, Bloodsail lashed out with a foreclaw even as Lightfoot struggled to his feet, catching his leg and tripping him again. This time, the Spino grabbed Lightfoot's legs in his jaws, dragging the Ceratosaur away from cover...

OOC: Mistaken identity strikes again!

Ligthfoot howled in pain, the Ceratosaur tried thrashing around, hopin gto strike some point of the Spino, then Goldeye rushed out of the firest, the female Ceratosaur lept onto Bloodsail's side, gougin gout deep gashes into his side, forcin gthe Spino to let go of Lightfoot and roar in pain, the Male Ceratosaur dashed as fast as he could into the forest, Goldeye lept off of Bloodsail and chased off after Lightfoot...

OOC: My bad.

Bloodsail, in a rage, slammed his tail into one of the trees, cracking the trunk. Roaring in fury, he turned away from the vegetation, knowing it was a waste of energy to continue tracking them down. Instead, he turned to the fight between Crusher and Spike. Maybe he could get a free meal out of the loser's corpse...

Meanwhile, a single compy slunk its way towards the corpse of the Muttaburrasaurus, taking advantage of the abandoned meal...

Crusher snarled lowly, snapping his jaws threateningly. the Spinosaur sickened him. for more than one reason. he had seen enough in his life to know that for him to leave such an impression on the Ceratosaurs as that, he was an outright self-glorifying bragger. the fact he was an utter coward and had so little fighting ability in addition to that gave Crusher all the more reason to loathe him. the Rex eyed the Spinosaur, watching for any sign of an aggressive movement...

"I suppose every Raptor has his own tastes, loner or not" growled Fatalis as he looked off out the window at the forest outside. "but," he hissed as he turned back to the siblings. "...one of the main things about being a Loner is that your life will be majorly built around self preservation. everything you do will be for yourself, and all achievements will usually be personal, forgotten the moment it's effect on you fades. living with others...well, your achievements last so long as others remember how you affected them. in his case, his achievement lives on to this day, because without him, i couldn't hope to be as good as i am now. in my case, this pack is my achievement, and one day, i hope to see this pack's success and growth as an achievement as well. at least, that's my goal. to make sure you four and any that follow, as well as the next generation that follow, live good lives, safe, happy, and fulfilled" he growled finally...

"yeah" growled Blade in agreement as he walked, choosing his direction randomly. "Hey...here's a question for you....what's the last thing you remember doing before those humans got you?"...
