Hellfire sighed as he saw Aircrest bolt, only upping his place slightly so he could see where the raptor went, not in the mood for a race...

Once Rampage reached the nest, Serena snoozing quietly alongside Lightning, the female turned to face Blade, Alira and Selena. "So...what is it you wanted to know?" she growled, Blade glancing at Selena, then back at the female...

"Aw, your no fun!" Aircrest called out from the next roof, having jumped over to it. He was about to keep going, but as he was about to make a joke, he noticed from the corner of his eye, Hellfire was still on the other roof. He turned to face the Deinonychus, sickle claws tapping on the ground as he waited...

With their backs to their new packmate, the twins didn't yet notice Renegade approaching, Rhojis too focused on not losing his balance to notice much else. "Whoa. I'll make sure to watch out for that from now on..." hissed Sylicora. Rhojis was finally starting to stand up straighter, though he did so tensely, swaying slightly. "Think I can do the dropping like a rock part without the help of unstable bark," he muttered, his sister giving a quiet snort.

Renegade made his way forward, ending up next to the tree Sylicora and Rhojis stood on, seemingly struggling to stay up. He couldn't figure out why they wouldn't be able to; climbing was almost second-nature to him, he had done it so many times before. There was always need to when he was alone, to escape from larger predators, or to ambush prey; it was a necessity, he couldn't remember ever not being able to, and so the concept had nearly become alien to him.
He casually walked up to the tree, and jumped upward, avoiding the bottom completely. As he was in the air, he hitched one leg up, and dug in, using his scythe-like inner toe claw to hold on to the tree. He then used that as leverage, and pushed himself upward into another jump, landing lightly on the branch opposite the twins, glancing around at the others...

Selena, to Alira's surprise and faint annoyance, had found a perch on the dark allosaur's back. The raptor caught her eye and shrugged faintly, an apologetic move but not one that suggested she was going to move. Both females turned their attention to Blade and Rampage, Selena making sure her claws wouldn't cut Alira's skin by accident.

Hellfire calmly followed, leaping across the gap between the roofs effortlessly, walking towards Aircrest and soon past him. "You never learn" hissed the Deinonychus calmly. "Didn't rushing into the water to find a horde of crocodiles waiting for you teach you anything?"...

"We've been looking for Crusher or Hunter...someone whose been brought to a place like this before" growled Blade. Rampage nodded. "Any particular reason?" she inquired. "Several things, but mostly we want to know what they think their reasons were for bringing us here" growled Blade. "Well...Crusher might have a hunch, but Hunter doesn't as far as i know. you could talk to him if you like....he should be patrolling the territory...though his probably somewhere around the southernmost border of the territory, by the human caves that brought us here" suggested Rampage...

"Well of course I learned something" Aircrest barked. "How the hell do you think Im still alive?! Obviously, wading into water is different than leaping over gaps, and what spaz of a raptor would fall through said gaps just going for a jolly run, much less, experianced loners?" He growled as he trotted after the Deinonychus. "And you wonder why you dont have any stories to tell! Actually, I think I have another to tell you. Happened a long time ago, when I first met Selena. Wanna hear?"

Resisting the urge to hit Aircrest over the head, Hellfire sighed, nodding. "Do tell" he hissed...

Sylicora glanced over her brother's head at the raptor on the opposite branch. "Hi Renegade. Back so soon?" Only then did Rhojis chance a look to the side, commenting with a half-smile, "You got up here pretty quickly. You don't seem to have much trouble climbing, unlike some of us..."

"Its about this T-rex...forget his name, but he somehow made everyone in a barren wasteland on the island fear him" Aircrest growled. "I dont know how, but he did. On second thought...the only thing I remember aside from meeting Selena is how we killed it. Not much of a story, huh?" He added after a bit of thought

Renegade looked at the twins for a moment, sidelong.
"Yeah... I don't sssleep well these days..." he trailed off. In answer to Rhojis' comment, he added, "I guesss it must be a lone wolf thing. I've had to be able climb, in order to survive, sssince I was... I cant even remember..."

Spike let uot a sigh as he rested on the floor of the building, both Lightfoot and Goldeye looked at the wounded Spino, knowing that with those wounds, hunting for food for him was out of the question. The two Ceratosaurs looked at each other, then went deeper into the building, wondering what else was in this former human home...

Zheja trotted back toward the human cave he and the pack had been calling home, soon hearing a commotion inside. Fearing that they had been discovered, the black and white raptor bolted toward it. Upon reaching the inside of the structure, he was greeted by the sight of a lone strange raptor practically surrounded by the pack, though it didn't seem to notice, focusing on the one in front of it: Amberstripe. Luckily, Amethyst was nearby, just as agitated as the others. "What the hell is going on here?" Zheja hissed to the female, who did not relax. "I haven't the slightest idea, Zheja. She apparently claims Amberstripe is a monster or something. Claims that he isn't who he says he is." their makeshift leader explained, Zheja staring off after the statement. "Why does that sound familiar..." he growled, mostly to himself. "Focus!" Amethyst snarled, gesturing toward the newcomer.

"What is wrong with you hatchlings? How many times must I explain?!" the raptor snarled, baring her fangs at Amberstripe, who remained calm, strangely. "Who are we to believe? One of our own, or you, stranger?!" Tyreal hissed back. Zheja stepped in front of the lot, staring eye to eye with the newcomer. "You!" the raptor hissed, ignoring the others. "You...know what I'm talking about." the raptor snarled, grinning. The raptor seemed older then them all, but many scars across her body told them that she was far from defenseless. "...How the hell do you know me?" Zheja growled, though he remained calm, silently doubting the raptor's sanity. "I've heard about you...how strange, this family reunion..." the raptor growled, chuckling. Zheja was even more confused. "Family? You better start making sense..." he growled threateningly, taking a step forward. The raptor waved a clawed hand at him. "Don't kid yourself, whelp. Don't you recognize your own flesh and blood? Isn't that right Rainus?" the raptor snarled, almost spitting the last word. Zheja stopped. That name...he knew he heard that name before, from his father. Rainus was-

"Rainus?! HE is Rainus?!" the black and white raptor exclaimed, looking toward Amberstripe, who once again remained unfazed. Come to think of it, the raptor did match the description...how had he been so foolish? "Always the one to ruin a good thing..." Rainus growled, standing slowly. "Always one to never know when to keep their mouth shut..." the gray raptor snarled, voice growing more menacing. The white female scoffed. "Come then, little brother. Let's finish what we started." the raptor snarled, finally showing some aggression. Rainus launched himself forward, smashing forcefully into the newcomer, sending them both rolling out of the building, Zheja and the others exchanging very confused glances...

Jagged Eye woke up, late into the morning. He was laying on his side on the rough ground. There were four buildings around him, their alley ways intersecting at the square the allosaur slept. Said alley ways were barely big enough for him to fit through, much less bigger predators who could have taken advantage of his week state since his fight with the Carcharadontosaur. By now, the half blind allosaur was back at full strength, and so he got back to his feet. He'd do a patrol of the small block he made his territory and then go on a hunt...

The small predator was on edge. It was bad enough that she'd been caught by humans and brought here, where she could be snatched by any random hungry predator. But what was worse was she couldn't see this strange new environment. At least she'd had some time with vision before now, so she knew what the jungle looked like. And, though she seldom admitted it even to herself, a small part of her longed to be able to see it again. Back on the island where she'd come into the world, her senses had guided her well - she knew where trees were and where a clearing began. She could scent her way to streams and prey, and even hunt to a certain extent, though what she caught often wasn't very big. Her nose and ears guided her, and she'd learned to work with what her surroundings told her rather than wandering aimlessly. Starspot and her pack had really helped her out there. But here...here she didn't know what anything looked like. She was pretty sure she was lost, turning corners at random in the fading hope of running into someone she knew. The young raptor, lost in thought, almost slammed muzzle-first into a tree, only just managing to avoid it in time. The scents here are all strange and cluttered, she thought, gritting her teeth. The scents of fresh water and healthy trees are overlaid by the smells of death and decay...and with these weird caves everywhere you turn, it's impossible to know where I am. For all I know, I'm going in circles. Rose cursed as she nearly tripped over a curved root. She had no idea where she was, or if her mother and father had ended up here too. She let out a quiet snarl. "This...is hell," she growled under her breath, distracted for the seconds it took for her to smack her face off a low branch. A half-stifled yelp of pain escaped her. "Damn it!" She rubbed her sore muzzle with one clawed hand, sightless amber eyes glaring. "I hate this place..."

Aircrest shook his head. "Nope. I cant remember much else" He growled, spending a few moments to comb his mind for details. Details he couldnt find. "I guess Ive 'played' with giants so much that one encounter doesnt stand out against the rest" He added with a bark. "Aw well. If I didnt remember it, then it wasnt that much of an adventure" he finished saying. Without warning, he broke off into a full on sprint across the roof, shooting over the edges onto the other buildings. His silence doing it showed that he wasnt doing it for the thrill of the chase or anything. He just wanted to get to the jungle oasis to do a bit of thinking, maybe scout out the area....

Rose lifted her nose to find out if she was close to a clearing...or at least a water source. Some place she could rest for a while, and get a drink that didn't leave a bad taste in her mouth for days afterward. Her mouth and throat were dry, and she was getting pretty tired of dodging trees. She thought she could pick up the scent of fresh water, but the wind bent around those odd caves in strange ways. It was hard to tell what direction the scent was coming from, or if she was imagining it. No point standing around burning daylight, she decided, trusting her nose and starting to follow the scent as best as she could.

One last kick off the top of the last cave sent the raptor soaring over the running water below. A dull thud and the rustling leaves signalled his landing on a branch. "Back in the trees" the raptor thought, looking down into the depths, trying to find the dark outlines of crocs waiting in ambush. There were none. "Nothing escapes my eyes" He added, grinning as he waited for Hellfire

Rose felt her foot catch on a root and let out a string of curses as she tripped and found herself falling down a small hill. She came to an abrupt stop by the side of one of the caves, underneath a large fern, and just stayed there for a minute listening to the sound of her own breathing. A couple of places on her sides and shoulders throbbed with dull pain that would probably fade soon. "What did I do to deserve this?" she wondered aloud, referring not only to her blindness, but to the whole situation she was in. Slowly, she rolled onto her feet and stood up, having to stand there for a few seconds before she picked up the scent again. Stepping more carefully now she resumed her hunt for the source.

The raptor cocked his head at a distant rustling. It sounded like it came from behind, so he twisted about on the branch. The street was almost entirely flooded out, with bits of the sides above the water, but even then it was a slick walk. The tree he was on burst out from the ground near the stream, its roots stretching well into it. It was covered in vines and drooping leaves. It was unlike any tree he had seen on Sorna- a weeping willow. There were growths of plants on the ground around the area, probably relying on the supply of water...
