the Rex stepped forward, a rumbling growl coming from it as the Rex suddenly snapped his jaws, the loud thunk audible despite the roar of pouring rain around them. the Rex began to circle the two Ceratosaurs, putting himself between them and the Edmontosaur, eyes trained on the two predators...

"Hm....mutually beneficial....and there i was wondering if pterosaurs were even capable of thinking on such a reasonable level. I'm listening" hissed Fatalis as he eyed the pterosaur...

The two raptors passed through the runied straight. Puddles formed in strange breaks in the road. There were lines of circular depressions in the ground, almost like foot prints. And thats exactly what they were, bulky beasts heading through the desolate city. Some of the rusting cars had holes in their sides- the product of stegosaur tails swinging about as they walked. "Damn!" Aircrest barked. "I know... stegos could really leave a mark anywhere they go..." Hazel growled. "No, thats not what I meant!" Aircrest called out as he leapt onto an over turned car, claws clanking against the metal to get Hazel's attention. "I missed my chance to practice stego tipping!"
"....Stego tipping?" Hazel growled. "Jump on a stego's, bite its plates a few times and hope the suprise makes it fall over!" Aircrest barked to Hazel. "Came up with it when I was talking to Hellfire"
"Thats stupid!" Hazel barked back. "So is getting a Tyrannosaur to chase you down for the sake of a good time. Doesnt stop me" Aircrest growled dismissively. "...And Selena knows you do that?!" Hazel barked, running at the car before jumping, landing with a thump on the car's underside. "Im pretty sure she saw me in action once or twice." Aircrest growled matter of factly. He hopped off the car and started walking down the street again. "You can ask her if we find her" Aircrest barked as he went, barely audible over a booming thunder clap. Hazel cocked her head and jumped down from the car, walking after the green raptor

Razorwing glowered at the remark, but continued. "See, as a pterosaur, I have the ability to fly. If you let me scout out your potential prey before a hunt from the air, you raptors will have a much easier time killing whatever it is you want for lunch! All I ask for in return is some free food for me and my compy friend. It's much easier to eat carrion when you helped get it to that state in the first place, no?"

Hazel thought about what she was told, and she really couldnt believe it. "Aircrest, do you have any idea how dangerous that is?!" She called out to him. "Yes, thats the appeal!" He barked. "What kind of raptor wants a mate who'd risk their life like you do?! Would you be so willing to do something like that when you have hatchlings!?" Hazel hissed loudly. Aircrest stopped walking, allowing Hazel to move up to his side. "You know...I havent given much thought to that, becoming a parent" He growled. Hazel sighed. "You better start Aircrest, unless you want the past to repeat itself" She warned. She started walking off, leaving Aircrest staring at the ground, lost in thought and being pounded by the rain. "What're you doing!?" Hazel barked a few moments later. "Waiting for Selena to find you?" With that, Aircrest snapped himself out of the trance, breaking off into a run to catch up to the brown scaled raptor...

Shadowhorn was quietly walking down the street, content to roam even in the rain. With the stormy weather affecting visibility as well as picking up scents, the Carnotaur took advantage of these by changing his scales so that they matched his current surroundings, which would keep his location unknown from any larger predators that were possibly looking for a meal out of a smaller predator. The only problem that he knew would be presented was difficulty in picking up the scents of other creatures, which was making him rely on his eyes now more than his nose...

Lightfoot and Goldeye kept their eyes on the massive Rex circling them, every nerve in their body screamnig at them to run, fast. While Lightfoot's face was in panic mode, Goldeye remained strangrly calm, mroe in wonderment as to why a T-rex would chase after two Ceratosaurs than a lone Edmontosaurus, especially considering that Edmontosaurs were a Rex's main food item, only for the answer to hit her like a ton of bricks... This was the Rex's territory, and the Rex didn't want them in his land... Both Ceratosaurs, knowing that if they stayed, were doomed, turned and fled, as fast as their legs could carry them, the Ceratosaur's proportionatly long legs and lightweight bodies allowing them to move very fast, faster than a fully-grown T-rex could...

once again, Lightfoot was blown off his feet, slamming into Goldeye, the former having several shattered ribs from the force of the blow as a second Rex, older than the first, stepped forward, the graceful strides of the virtual Queen of Isla Sorna enough to inspire awe and fear in those who saw her. they had gone far too deep into the territory. they weren't far from the nest, and the second Rex's powerful sense of smell had identified their position easily, Rampage looking down at the two Ceratosaurs coldly. this would be the second time these two Ceratosaurs had invaded her territory...they wouldn't be allowed to leave. as the flash of lightning above illuminated the Rexes' faces for the first time, it was immediately clear that both were infuriated. they wanted nothing more than to slaughter the intruders. Hunter walked forward, closing the gap between himself and the two fallen Ceratosaurs, which would likely, after a blow like that, be too weak to run off so easily. Rampage's rumbling growl seemed to reverberate through the very air and ground around them, the angry mother of the Rex pack deciding which of the two she would kill first...and which would be left for her son to kill...

meanwhile, Crusher was elsewhere, nearing the North-Eastern tip of Manhattan, searching the area for prey, stopping briefly to glance out over the water at the surrounding land. as lightning ignited the sky in a brief white flash, the Rex's booming roar tore out across the waters of the Hudson, the Rex turning away from the water and heading into the city, tracking the fragments of scents that remained in the air through the rainfall...

Lightfoot and Goldeye Struggled onto their feet, both Ceratosaurs back-to-back as they looked at the Tyrannosaurs, Goldeye's mind racing as she realized what they had done. How had she not picked up their scents earlier? Only now could she pick up the smelly, death- filled odor of a Rex nest. Dangit! If she didn't do something, fast, both her and Lightfoot would be dead, and the last thing she wanted was death... " W-w-We're soory for intruding on your territory..." Goldeye hissed, her head lowered to the ground, in a submissive act, the Ceratosaur knowing that she had no hope of fighting off a ticked off T-rex mother and her son, Lightfoot also lowering his head, though the pain in his side made it difficult. "We had no idea this was your territory. Both me and my friend here promise to leave this area, and to never bother you two again if you can please let us leave here preacefully..." Goldeye snarled, the fear that was racing in her mind prevented her from maknig a good reason to leave, her eyes darting around, trying to look for an escape route...

Rampage moved forward, taking a long sniff of the Ceratosaurs. she picked up Crusher's scent on them. that gave her one obvious conclusion. they were attempting a revenge raid on his territory for something. a rumbling snarl came from the female, finally forming her answer. "No" snarled Rampage, the boom of thunder overhead accompanying a flash of light that seemed to shimmer eerily in the female's eyes...

Both Lightfoot and Goldeye sunk their heads even lower, before realizing thet they carried Crusher's scent on them. Dangit... So now both Rex's probably thought they were some petty revenge party... Unfortunatly, Neither Lightfoot or Goldeye had any evidence for their defence. Their only hope for survival was escape. Goldeye looked back at Lightfoot, the look in his eye tellnig her that, despite the broken rips, he could still keep up with her, just not as long. Goldeye could also pick up the scent of Crusher on both Rex's, meaning that the large female must be Crusher's mate, and the younger male his son... "I can see that you two are related to Crusher..." Goldeye hissed, trying to be as submissive as she could, wanting to show the Rex's that they had no malice intentions at all. "We have no intention of harmnig your nest, or Crusher himself... We were simply chasing a Hadrosaur and it fled into this area..." Lightfoot growled, hoping not to become a chew toy...

Lightfoot was blown forward and into the ground, Hunter's foot on his flank, the Rex's fangs ripping one of the Ceratosaur's thighs to bloody shreds. "Lie all you want, Ceratosaur....it won't save you" snarled Rampage coldly. "You.....won't live to speak of crossing my family a third time" she growled...

Gothmog awakens after many moons of slumber. He was weak, tired...... but full of hate, for some reason.

The smell of blood fills his nose. His eyes widen before he eats the remains of a small hadrosaur he had found dead nearby. The smell was from near the docks. He was certain of it.

Gothmog's eyes dialated with hunger and thirst. This may be his chance. Howeve,r he knew the ruler, Crusher, lived there, along with his brood. Gothmog decided to play it safe and wait until he was sure whatever was bleeding was dead......

Lightfoot howled in pain, the Ceratosaur trying to free himself from the T-rex's grasp. "WHat we speak is the truth! We have not come to bring you misfortune, but were only passing through, THis we swear!" Lightfoot bellowed in pain, Goldeye uncertain of what to do. Should she try and free him and risk getting killed, or watch and get mauled by the other Rex? The female Ceratosaur made her choice, and charged, Bashing into Hunter's Side, sending the male T-rex stumbling into Rampage, giving jsut enough time for Lightfoot to get onto his feet and for both Ceratosaurs to hightail it toward Spike's location, Lightfoot's leg meannig he could still outrun the Rex's, but wouldn't be as fast as he normally would, plus, the pain would really hurt.

The lumbering giga, looking quite dioriented, continues his long march towards the docks, drool dripping from the beast's maw, Gothmog sniffing the air again, catching the smell of blood, knowing the wounded creature grows nearer each step........

Hunter snarled as the Ceratosaur charged into him, his several ton weight advantage meaning he hardly budged, Rampage's massive jaws clamping shut on Goldeye's tail, dragging her back, dropping her at an angle that kept her from landing on her feet, the Ceratosaur landing on the ground on her chest instead, Rampage pinning the Ceratosaur with a foot, the taloned foot covering most of the Ceratosaur's torso, Rampage curling her toes on the Ceratosaur, wrapping them around the torso with near bone cracking force, as Hunter put more weight on Lightfoot. "I saw you enter our territory following the herbivore's scent" snarled Hunter. "Do you honestly believe a feeble attempt to lie your way out of your problem would help? this is the third time you've crossed our family...even our patience has it's limits..." rumbled the male...

"We were chasing the Hadrosaur toward our territory... We had no idea this territory was the home of a savage pack of monsters." Goldeye snarled, the pain almost unbearable, Lightfoot stopped moving, not dead, nor unconcious, but stopped wriggling for freedom, realizing that escape was futile. "Whom are we, mere Ceratosaurs, to try and get revenge on the greatest carnivore on the island and his family? You may think that what we speak are lies, but they are infact the truth... We bear no malice toward Crusher and you two... Nor to any other family members he may have..." Lightfoot growled, trying to act as calm as he could, the look in his eyes, being that of a being that had spoken what was true...

Gothmog's monstrous brown form begins to lumber towards the dock area, the smell of a couple of wounded ceratosaurs and two T-rexes. He knew the dangers of entering the area. but, Gothmog's hunger drove him to enter, in the hopes of getting a peice of what is left of the poor ceratosaurs.........

an infuriated snarl came from Rampage as she dragged her foot back, dragging Goldeye along the rocky ground, ripping gashes into the side facing the rocky ground below, the blood beneath the Ceratosaur flowing out, only to be washed away by the rain. "DO NOT try and beg forgiveness with compliments...they will do you no good now" roared Rampage furiously, the female's gleaming yellow eyes burning with anger, Hunter raking his toe claws along Lightfoot's flank...

meanwhile, amidst the tall buildings of northern Manhattan, Crusher walked, tracking the scent of a group of Anatotitan grazing not far from where he was...the Rex swept through the streets silently, the Rex's massive silhouette broken up by the surrounding structures, the Anatotitan oblivious to his approach due to their number breaking up the tremors of his strides amidst their own, the boom of thunder overhead distracting their senses with each explosive occurance...they wouldn't know he was there until it was far too late...

Goldeye endured the pain, realizing that the Rex was blinded with rage and fury, though there might still be the possibility that she could get out of this alive, as well as Lightfoot. "You refuse to believe us? Tell me, why is it that your so certain that we come here to haunt you when we didn't even know that this was your hunting area?" Goldeye growled, Lightfoot nodding his head, as if to reinforce what she's saying, despite the pain of being raked by the Rex's claws...

"That, in itself is a lie. you know all too well, you've been to our borders before. not far from here. to claim you didn't know despite the very heavily marked territorial borders, is further proof that you live off your own lies" snarled Rampage coldly, pressing down on Goldeye, the pain of it enough to make her screech in pain...
