Hazel's thoughts shifted from her brother to the sound of distant rustling, heading towards them. A breeze would blow through, drowning the noise out for a few moments, but it would continue even after the wind passed. Aircrest's eyes shot open and his muscles tensed. As the sound of shaking leaves neared, he realized that what ever was coming at them was none other than the raptor he met the other day. Immediately, he prepared to strike...

Just waking up from a long rest, Umbra was a little sore from the passed events. Instead of marking the territory as his, he decided to just be prepared to fight, yet willing to run.

His mouth was dry with thirst as it was with every waking. He wondered to the shore of the river gulping down a large amount of water before shaking the sleep out of himself.

He then returned to the parasauralaphous he had killed previously which was reduced just to a few ribs, the tail and backbone, limbs and a crushed head.

He crept in the water again to submerge himself, his transparent sail protruding from the water, the sun warming the blood running through his sail veins. A few small, bipedal herbivores passed by to satisfy their thirst in the river. Umbra wasn't going to settle for one of those though. Then after a short time of waiting a stegasaurus wondered up for a drink.

As soon as it stuck it's head to the water Umbra lunged out of the water had it, grabbing it's head in his mouth, twisting to the right. The animal momentarily shrieked, but it was cut short by a broken neck and punctured skull.

Umbra then ripped open the torso and began eating his kill flesh, bone and gut until he had his fill. He then went back to the river to wash done his meal.

After his drink, Umbra began exploring the area close to the bend in the river.

Red Eye was still leaping from branch to branch, but now doing it at a slower pace than earlier. The scents were getting stronger now and he knew that he was getting close to the owners...



Now finished with the body of the Edmontosaur he had been eating, Rainbow scale now began to drack the nearly skeletonized body out of his territory. Though what was left on the kill wouldn't be able to feed more than one raptor, the giga wasn't going to take the risk of the smell of the kill bringing in another large predator...

By now, Aircrest could see the red tailed raptor through the leaves. He suddenly leapt off of his branch, landing on another a few feet infront of him. He walked the wooden tendril until he found a spot where he could jump to another branch that would put him infront of the raptor. He launched himself onto the wet branch, landing in a crouch on it, ready to pounce onto Redeye should he approach further. He let out a low growl "Who the hell are you, and why the hell are you here?"

[Iceking]

Upon hearing Aircrest leap onto a branch not far from him, Red Eye stopped leaping and growled:"To answer your first question, My name is Red Eye. As for what I am doing here, I simply stumbled upon you two while I was roaming about."

[C S]

"And Im going to assume you didnt smell the raptor that thought you were stalking him?" Aircrest snarled at Redeye. Though Aircrest met most of his friends and aquaintances by bumping into them by chance, those were always first time occurances. After their little stand off the other day, he assumed the raptor would keep his distance. Hazel looked up at the two raptors. Her brother seemed agitated, perhaps this was what he was talking about a few moments ago?

[Iceking]

RedEye growled to Aircrest:"I'm bored and I would like to tag along with you, if you are willing to allow me."

Umbra wondered off to the northwest, following the bend of the river. Small animals seemed to cower in his presence, even though he still had some growing to do. He had always enjoyed the presence of smaller animals, or at least the bipedal ones that had brought him from the island to this strang place.

They had always seemed very interested in him, for some reason or another. It was a form of affection he hadn't gotten anywhere else, and still hasn't gotten from any other source.

Umbra missed them since they had vanished. At times he thought he could get their scent, but it was either just reminiscent or his sence of smell playing a trick on him.

While exploring he happened upon a heard of corythisaurus that seemed troubled by the scent of fresh blood he had on his snout. Considering he wasn't really in the mood for any meal, he decided he'd go back to the bend in the river.

There he took another drink, quinching his and washing the blood off his snout. He then lied down on all fours and surveyed the desolate landscape.

"Right...." Aircrest growled, raising a scaly eyebrow at Redeye. After a moment of staring at the stranger, he shrugged. With the shifting wind, he couldnt smell any other raptors nearby, so this wasnt some weird ambush. "We're resting for the time being" He growled, relaxing slightly, but not letting his guard down. "Just dont hold us back when we're moving or give us reason to hurt you and you could walk with us, clear?" Aircrest hissed.

[Iceking]

Red Eye nodded to Aircrest and growled:"Perfectly."

Meanwhile, Shadowhorn had quenched his thirst and was now heading off in the direction of the alley way that he had claimed for himself. When nightfell, that was when he would hunt. The Carnotaur knew of the larger predators that would take advantage of the dark, but this strange island had so many new places to hide that he wouldn't need to worry about them as he would have on Isla Sorna...

"Great" Aircrest barked. "After we part ways, you might wanna get a hobby...or a mate. Both would be better alternatives than testing the patience of strangers" He growled sarcastically as he turned around and started jumping back to the tree he was laying in

Blade nodded, turning towards where he last saw the Raptor, depending mostly on memory to guide him, the rain having washed any traces of scent that might've reached here away. he hoped he'd have better luck at the meeting spot....it was going to be a long trip...with all the large predators fighting for territory in the area, he hoped he'd be able to avoid risky situations...


Fatalis barked as he neared his packmates, getting their attention. it was time they moved. the kill was starting to attract attention, and even after the rain, any large predator close enough would smell the mostly stripped corpse and likely come hoping for a free meal. he wasn't in the mood to have to deal with an angry, hungry superpredator...

When Aircrest landed on his branch, he saw Hazel make a motion with her snout towards a line of shrubs behind the tree. She then walked behind, making it seem like she was sniffing out something. Aircrest cocked his head and jumped onto a branch that curved part way around the tree trunk, landing lightly on it. He walked along it a bit before leaping off onto another, before dropping down onto the wet ground. "Whats up?" He growled quietly. "Who is he?" Hazel growled. "And why did you look like you wanted to claw his face off?"
"I told you" He growled. "I thought I was being ambushed yesterday. He was the raptor that I thought was doing the ambushing" Hazel nodded. "And your gonna let him stay with us?" She asked. Aircrest shrugged. "If he wants to follow us around, so be it. Maybe he'll get bored and go roaming on his own" Hazel looked slightly nervous. "If he gives us reason to, we'll drop him faster than you could blink" The green raptor reassured before jumping back up into the tree.

[Iceking]

Red Eye growled to Aircrest:"What hobby do you have?" He had heard the other raptor landing on two differant surfaces twice, but did not move, since the sounds had not been approaching him...

[C S]

Aircrest poked his head around the tree trunk, looking into the expanse of leaves. "Wandering" He he replied with a bark. It was a simple answer, but it pretty much summed up his activities. He was going to say "Toying with the super predators" but then, he didnt want to have Hazel lecture him about it...

[Iceking]

Red Eye grunted at Aircrest's answer to his question, then growled:"May I have your name?"

[C S]

"Its the same as yours, actually" Aircrest barked, giving no indication he was lying. Oh what fun he will have with this stranger...
Hazel's head shot out of the shrubs at what she heard. She looked up, seeing Aircrest leap to another branch. From there, he could see Redeye a bit better. She smirked at her brother's antics. He still had his old sense of humor

[Iceking]

Red Eye heard the sound of Aircrest leaping and by looking through a gap in the leaves, he could see the eyes of the other raptor and instantly saw that they were gold in color. He growled with a faint hint of ammusement:"Is that so? Your eyes do not have the color to suggest that your name could be the same as mine."

[C S]

"I know. Its weird" Aircrest growled dismissively before laying on the branch he stood on. "But thats what my parents named me" He continued with a bark. "If only Selena were here" He thought. "I wonder what she'd say in times like this"

Fyre was fishing in one of the rivers when he noticed he near Crusher's border... very near it. Great. Not only have I failed to catch any fish, but I'll probably have to run for my life soon. He started walking away and saw a wandering hadrosaur. He waited and then ran for it, grabbing it's neck and twisting it. He ate his fill then countinued to walk away from Crusher's domain...

((I have multiple things to say in OCC, the first being that:
1. I'm back and ready for one more shot at ISS. Hey, I can't hang out in the E-War all the time, can I?
2. About Fyre, while he is a piscivore and not suited for taking down prey, that never stopped any other long-snouted carnivore before, and it certainly won't stop him.
So yeah, that about wraps things up. And I now hover around waiting for posts that relate to Fyre, and also run to the RPGT E-War.))
