"No thanks." Darkness growled simply, waving a clawed hand at Selena. Walking forward, the dark raptor narrowed his eyes at the raptor near Aircrest, trying to identify her. "And who...is this?" he hissed, gaze shifting to Aircrest. "Please...please tell me this is who I think it is..." he hissed, maw once again showing a sinister smirk...

"A friend?" Aircrest said with a low hiss, anger building. As he regained composure, he growled sarcastically "Im going to assume you remember what that is?" as he stepped up to challenge the mutant. "Its funny. The first time we met, I fought you without knowing what I was getting into. Now that I know who you are...I cant believe that some time ago, you were in my place. Having to fight for those who you cared about...you can say thats another thing we have in common" He snarled. He spat into the grass. "Despite our similarities...there isnt a fraction of me that is like you. So lets settle this right here and now" He barked, muscles tensed and ready for battle...

Hazel raised a scaly eyebrow at Aircrest and the newcomer. Obviously they had some sort of history... but why didnt Aircrest tell the stranger she was his sister? She stepped back a bit, unsure of how to interperet the situation

Darkness laughed, the sound harsh and quite loud. "...You're serious?" he hissed, clearly surprised. "Seems you've finally snapped, hatchling. Come then, if your so determined to prove yourself." the dark raptor growled, shrugging, though his eyes remained locked on Aircrest.

Umbra growled in agreement "Yeah, that is a shame." He was starting to get a little hungry, and glanced over at the stegasaur carcass that was getting tempting. Not wanting to be rude to his company he glanced back at him.

Crushers response put him at ease. He growled "My relatives aren't much on brains. Guess that's why I've taken up such a reclusive lifestyle. It's less of a hassle and also less painful. I'm not really looking for an alliance, but if you're hungry, you'll find that I have a unique hunting strategy. Perhaps we can put our two strategies together for the occasional meal."

I haven't seen much of Darkness...but I don't think highly of what i have, Alira thought, her eyes narrowing. Without thinking about what she was doing, she turned her head and nudged Blade's shoulder with her snout in a silent show of comfort. From what she'd learned, he really looked up to the dark mutant. Admired him, even, despite everything. Darkness' words were a harsh blow delivered without a shred of remorse.

"Its funny what you can do when you've got nothing to lose. Even more amazing, what you can do when everything you've got is on the line" Aircrest snarled in response, stepping forward. Selena and Hazel- two raptors he loved dearly around a former psychopath. Darkness might not kill without reason, but it seems even petty reasons were valid in his eyes. And because of that, he would give it his all to make sure he couldnt get at the females behind him...

"And still you insist I am here to hurt them...funny, I don't remember mentioning that." Darkness hissed, scratching his chin with a claw absently...

"Theres many things you fail to mention, Darkness. Be it the reason for wanting my mate dead- not that I care any more- or...say...kicking me off a branch?" Aircrest growled, still walking towards the raptor...

[TyrannoTitan]

"Are you going to talk me to death, or are you actually going to do something?" Darkness snarled, annoyed. "I'd like to get this over with, I want to get something to eat before I die of old age." he added, yawning tiredly.

[C S]

"Not even I have that much to say. You are nowhere as old as Ripper, and even he's still jumping around" Aircrest snarled, breaking off into a run at the mutant raptor a split second later...

Darkness shifted slightly, getting into a defensive position, ready to move if needed...

[C S]

As he neared his enemy, Aircrest jumped to the side at an angle. He landed on one foot, turning on it as the rest of his weight came down, facing Darkness. He dropped into a crouch, flashing his claws a foot or so from the mutant's side, muscles tensed and ready to send the raptor sprinting into position...

"...Are you quite finished? I thought this was a fight, not a mating dance." Darkness taunted, unfazed...

[C S]

Aircrest pounced as Darkness opened his mouth, legs tucked under him and arms out stretched...

Darkness pushed off the ground with one leg, planting his other leg firmly, swinging his body around so that he was facing the raptor as it soared past, redirecting the momentum as his foot landed, sending him pouncing forward, legs lifted up, kicking the raptor's side, knocking him off course and to the ground.

Aircrest rolled when he hit the ground, dispersing impact and getting back to his feet, which planted into the ground. He turned to face Darkness and readied himself. A split second later, Aircrest kicked off once more, swinging his legs forward as he hurdled towards Darkness...

Darkness pivoted around once more on one foot, this time waiting until Aircrest was very close, back handing the raptor as he landed, causing his head to jolt to the side...

Aircrest let out a bark of suprise, leaning with the blow while he raised the leg facing Darkness, slamming his clawed foot into the raptor's chest, sending him stumbling back...

The dark raptor grunted, taking a few steps back as he readied himself once more...

Aircrest rubbed the back of his head, turning to face Darkness. "You had the chance to bite and snap my neck. You didnt. Why?" He growled. He wasnt going to let this turn into a game for the raptor...
