As Chopper and his small pack of 7, including his brother Brute, his mate FlameJaw, his 3 other siblings, and two juveniles from different packs approach the center of town after traveling on foot for two days for a new territory, Chopper growled at his pack to stop and rest. He then went to go find a nice place to rest.

FlameJaw got to the center of the city first, and started looking for the nearest water source so she could rehydrate. But first, she barked at her mate telling him what she was about to do.

Brute started to growl at some compies on the road, and his presence on the street frightened them to the point where they high tailed it into the alley way. Then he layed down to rest before his next order from Chopper.

Upon seeing the raptor again, Bloodscale snapped her jaws at it, missing on purpose, in an attempt to scare the bloody thing off. RIght now, she didn't want to waste energy on such a meaningless threat, but if this raptor persisted, she'd be really ticked off...

He seemingly faded in, once more, appearing behind the large rex this time, hoping it would actually attack him this time. He did not go back into the treeline again, instead waiting to see the trex's reaction...

Sensing the conversation had come to an end, Aircrest growled "Well, time to do what I came up here to do" as he flipped over onto his feet. He eased onto the branch and laid his bottom jaw on the bark. He closed his eyes and let out a content rumble in his throat, letting himself drift off to sleep

Chopper commanded his younger siblings to go search for a nest while Brute and the other two raptors hunt for some grub for the pack. FlameJaw went to a nearby creek to drink some water so she could be hydrated for a hunt or two.

Chopper found a nice little area in the town to rest, started digging a small hole in the pile of trash, then went to rest in it, so he could relax while his pack was out.

Crusher lifted his head from the kill, his jaws coated in a thick layer of blood, the Rex's rumbling snarl of satisfaction audible all around the area. with a grunt, the Rex left what remained of the anatotitan, it's tail still having a considerable amount of flesh on it, though not enough to satisfy a superpredator, and the head was relatively intact. the stomach and legs however, were all but gone. the limbs were crunched to pieces, and the flesh almost completely gone. as Crusher walked on, the numerous animals that inhabited the area, mostly rodents, though the occasional cat or dog, and sometimes compy, could be seen converging on the kill, their differences forgotten for the sake of enjoying the rare satisfying meal...

As Brute was creeping through the tall buildings hunting for compies and other small animals scavanging in them, he suddenly heard a juvenile hadrosaur moaning in pain. It had broken it's leg, and was falling behind the herd. it was large enough to feed the pack for 2 whole days, so Brute and his hunting group went for it.

Chopper was rolling around in the trash to help pass the time. After a few seconds of rolling around, he stopped and heard a distant roar. As this happened, he became very alert and growled for FlameJaw to come to his location.

FlameJaw had also heard the roar, and just before Chopper Made his call, she was already heading to him. She was alert of her surroundings as she cautiously moved back to the center of town. She knew that in a few weeks, she and Chopper would be mating again, and a large predator nearby meant trouble for the both of them.

"Ah." Sylicora gave a slight nod as Rhojis hissed, "Probably not something we'll be able to do for a while then." The green raptor's gaze flicked to her brother and she let out a short snicker. "I'm sure you'll improve faster than I will. You remember how well I did on hunts back home." Her eyes trailed away, wandering aimlessly in thought. "Could barely tell which direction a scent was coming from. Mistook the trail of a Triceratops for a Corythosaur once and almost landed us in major trouble. That was the last time dad ever let me lead..." "Oh yeah, I remember that-" hissed Rhojis with a light snicker, his voice faltering very slightly at the end, expression tightening for a second, the green raptor seeming not to notice. The thought of their deceased father still stung him painfully, made worse by the fact that he had neglected to tell Sylicora for so long. Thinking now wasn't the time, he put it out of his mind, trying not to look unsettled by the comment.

Fatalis eyed the two, conscern in his amber gaze. it occured to him that Rhojis hadn't mentioned his father yet...that would have to be addressed soon...it'd be dangerous to the pack if secrets were kept from eachother...

The dark of the night was suddenly cast back as a firery red orb crept over the Eastern horizon. The skies that were once overcast with dark storm clouds were mostly clear, putting the bright colors of dawn in plain sight to the denziens of the urban decay. One of Aircrest's arms hung off the branch, his clawed fingers twitching occasionally as he was dreaming. As he neared awakening, he started to mumble something and snorted. His eye lids opened, his amber eyes glowing in the shadowy tree top from the light of early morning sun. He lifted his head off the mossy timber and his jaws parted in a yawn, which ended with a few smacks of his lips. The moist air was cool in the morning hours, with the light breeze from the night before still blowing through. His gaze was distant as he came out of his slumber for a few moments before he regained focus. He looked about to the dinosaurs around him. Hazel was still asleep amongst the tree roots, laying her head on an outstretched arm, while her other limbs were tucked close to her body. His eyes then passed over to Darkness. He raised a brow. They slept in the same tree? Not too long ago, that was thought impossible. Whats next? They sharing the same branch? Aircrest suppressed a shudder at the thought, quietly making his way down the wooden tendril back towards the tree trunk, trying not to wake the dark gray mutant

Blade yawned widely as the sunlight hit his face, eyes opening, pupils slitting in response to the sunlight, the Allosaur rising to his feet and stretching, something between a groan and a roar coming from him as several joints cracked as they were loosened, the Allosaur shaking the sleep from his mind, walking towards the lake nearby...

Meanwhile, the Rex was already on his way. he had awakened shortly before dawn, and had made his move for home as soon as he had had a few mouthfuls of the previous day's kills, and a drink from a nearby pool of water. by now, he saw before him a bridge. the towering structure acted as a path towards his home, according to the mental map of the area he had built. right now, fog had reduced visibility near zero in the area by the shore. he considered where he had been. the areas he had reached, while pleasant where land was conscerned, were completely empty of prey. he considered having Hunter head that way to hold a patch of land for them when the herbivores eventually reached, to make sure that other predators didn't claim it first. but again, with so many nice spots en route, chances are it'd take months before any prey reached the area he had in mind. he decided to think it over as he headed home...he would decide when he reached his territory...

Aircrest was about six feet off the ground, having climbed down most of the tree trunk. He kicked off the bark and dropped the rest of the way down, landing in a crouch. The long grass rustled softly upon his landing. Aircrest stood up, hearing Blade's growl not too far away. He turned to face the Allosaur before breaking off into a jog towards the lake as well. He'd say good morning to his friend before going off to get something for Hazel, Selena and him to eat. He wanted to see the looks on their face when they saw prey waiting for them as soon as they woke up.

stopping at the lake, Blade crouched down, taking several large mouthfuls of water, savouring the feeling of the liquid in his dry throat. he had a bad habit of breathing through his mouth while sleeping. it dried him out very swiftly, so he made sure he was reasonably close to a water source whenever he slept. noting the Raptor nearing him, he made a grunt of acknowledgement, though he made no effort to stop drinking...

"Morning" Aircrest growled when he was to the side of Blade's head, a few feet away from him. He lowered his head into the lake, which bobbed as he took in some water before raising it again. He looked to the Allosaur and growled "Whats up? Dreamt you were standing in fire or something?" He growled jokingly

After a short silence, in which Sylicora glanced sidelong at a vegetation-packed alley in thought, Rhojis averted his gaze from his packmates, putting on a near-neutral expression and slowly uncurling his foreclaws, which he hadn't noticed were digging into his palms until that moment. "Wonder where Renegade is," Sylicora commented idly, adding in a slightly grim tone, "Hope he found the Rex before it found him." The gray raptor turned his head away slightly, mismatched eyes closing sharply in a half-hidden wince. He wished she would stop talking about things regarding superpredators. Everything she said just reminded him of Beryl, and of his own crippling fear of large carnivores in general...

"I doubt it," Howler muttered. "There's a reason we raptors avoid bigger predators, you know."

Blackcrest looked around his surroundings making note of the tool shed nearby and the small pond to his far left. he was looking for suitable prey but he couldnt find any.

"If he's anywhere as good as he made himself out to be, he'll be fine. Lone Wolves have a habit of developing otherwise suicidal passtimes. Harassing Spinosaurs, Rexes and Gigas became second nature to me during my time as a loner. Only reason i don't actively go for it now is because i don't want to give any of you three ideas" hissed Fatalis with a smirk as he walked onward towards a nearby stream...
