Silver shook her head. "Nope," she growled. She blinked curiously. "Why?"

....Would you like to learn? Darkness growled, looking at the shimering water. He was starting to love swimming...

Silver looked at the stream, then at Steeltalon, not at all sure this was a good idea. she looked back at Darkness and nodded. "Sure, I'll give it a try."

green eye looked at razor edge. he was wondering what razor edge was going to say. he growled:"maybe it's because of what."

Great. Darkness growled cheerfully. For some strange reason, he was in a cheery mood today. He gestured for Silver to follow him, and they both got off the rock and down to the stream where it was shallow. Darkness stepped into the deep end and showed Silver how to swim with her legs and arms, even though one leg and one arm were limp. Darkness came out of the deep end and showed Silver the shallow part. He waited to see what she would do...

Silver did her best to copy Darkness' actions, swimming out to him and climbing onto his back. "Like that?"

Steeltalon opened one eye to see Darkness teaching Silver how to swim. With a small grin, she closed her eye again.

Ghost and Bloodrose had found a small cave near what they had determined to be a game trail. It feels good to find someplace cool to sleep in doesn't it Bloodrose? Ghost growled softly. Yeah, I agree and it gives us a place to live. Bloodrose barked in response.

Ghost looks out of the cave toward the trail where he watches the many species of herbivores traveling. As good as this seems on the outside Ghost knows inside that they must get help soon if they are to stop Gutripper.

Yes, very well done! he growled. He let Silver get off and she swam to him over and over until she was part fish. You can come into the deep end if you want. he growled as he swam toward the deep end. The stream is too thin for any predators bigger than fish. he barked as he dove down under and brought a fish back up to the surface. He killed the fish and threw it toward Silver. Darkness swam back and forth, waiting to see what the young raptor would do...

Redtooth had eaten is fill of the Camrasaurus carcass, but didn't want to leave it at his relxation spot, lest scavengers take over. Instead, he decided to drag it to someone else's territory so they could eat it. He decided to give it to Steeltalon, to make her feel better.

Silver let the fish sink before diving under to retrieve it. She was enjoying swimming and being able to swim well. When she popped up with the fish in her jaws, she swam over to Darkness and climbed back onto his back.

Enough swimming for one day? Darkness growled. He was getting tired. Swimming with one leg and one arm is tiring... Darkness growled to the young raptor. You can continue if you wish. I'll be just over there. he gestured to the sunny spot a few feet from Steeltalon.

Silver nodded and swam back to the shallows, knowing it would be dangerous to go on swimming in the deeper part of the stream. She carried her fish with her, a prize for her to eat later. Silver decided to rest on the rock before continuing to swim. Maybe eat her fish while she was out of the water. Climbing out of the water, she hopped up the rock and settled down.

Redtooth popped his head out of the trees, above the rock Silver was lying on. He had the neck of the Camarasaurus carcass in his mouth and was dragging it. He growled, through the dead dino, "Hi, Silver. Where's a good spot i can drop this off? It's a present, so Steeltalon can get better."

Silver turned her head and blinked. "I think you can lay it down in front of the cave entrance. Steeltalon will notice it." she chirped, blinking at the spino.

Redtooth hissed, "OK, thank you." He dragged the carcass to the cave and silently put it down. On his way back, he growled to Silver, "Tell her I sent it when she wakes up." He walked back to his lake spot.

Silver nodded, taking a small bite from her fish. she swallowed it and took another bite. The meat sang with the flavors of the wild.

SharpClaw managed to catch a lizard. She gobbled it down quickly and made her way back to the cave. On her way back she was wondering if she could ever trust Rawhide again after what happened to him. Was it a good idea to leave him alone with RawClaw? What was he doing right now? I have to get back to the cave. She went into a run and tried to make it to the cave as fast as possible.

When she finally arrived, she immediantly went to check on Rawhide and RawClaw. Rawhide was sleeping and so was the hatchling. She cautiously went over to the sleeping pair and froze when Rawhide woke up. "Hello, SharpClaw. Did you manage to catch something?"

The female raptor didn't look into Rawhide's eyes. "Yes, a lizard." She gazed down at the sleeping form of her hatchling and nuzzled him.

Silver finished her fish and dropped the bones into the water as she had seen Darkness do. She laid down on the rock and stared at the water. It shimmered and danced in the early morning light. Steeltalon woke up and yawned, freezing when she caught the scent of blood and spinosaur. She glanced around for Silver and saw the hatcling resting on a rock overhanging the stream. Glancing at the caves, she saw a dead camarosaur. Silver looked over and saw that Steeltalon was awake. "Oh, the spinosaur said that's a gift so you can heal," the hatchling chirped to Steeltalon. The older female sniffed the carcass before daring to take a bite, knowing what meat tained by hemlock sap or age smelled like. Not smelling any diease or poison on it, Steeltalon took a small chunk and swallowed it whole.

Darkness walked over to the spot he mentioned and layed down, trying to dry himself. He saw Steeltalon eat from the corpse. Darkness barred his teeth, not trusting the Spinosaur. He shook his head and layed it down on the soft grass. The day was beatutiful. Silver was happily eating the fish, and it looked like Steeltalon had finally settled down. Darkness sighed and closed his eyes. He made sure to listen to every sound in the jungle surronding them: the foot steps of Compies, and grunts of Ankylosaurs, the soft moving of the stream...Darkness would flick his eyes open to check on Silver, but then he would return to his rest.

Steeltalon turned from the carcass and walked over to Silver, standing beside her on the overhanging rock. Silver ran down the rock, deciding to show Steeltalon how well she could swim. "Wait," Steeltalon growled, seeing a large fish swimming slowly down the stream. When it was right under her, Steeltalon pounced, landing heavily on the fish and sending them both under the water. Her first assault had snapped the fish's spine, and Steeltalon fastened her jaws around the back of it's head. Silver let out a cry of terror as Steeltalon and the fish both vanished from view. Steeltalon, under the water, was swimming strongly towards the surface despite her broken leg, dragging the heavy fish with her. Her head broke the surface and she gasped for air, holding the fish tightly in her jaws. She wouldn't give up her prize. Steeltalon swam toward the shallows and climbed out of the stream, dropping the fish on the bank. "Forgot I could do that," she growled happily, testing her leg. It held perfectly, though a bit of pain lanced through her. Silver ran over and stared at the fish.
