The river area was devoid of life, all the ehrbivores having fled elsewhere. SPike, Lightfoot, and Goldeye cooled themselves off in the river, the cold water especially helpnig to sooth Lightfoot's leg...

Blackscale stopped once she was back at the remains of her kill, which her largely untouched, save for a few Compy bites out of the eye sockets. With not much else to do, the massive T-rex lowered herself, then fell asleep...

Selena returned the smile, understanding that no offense was meant by the lighthearted remark.

"Wow, and to think I havent even told you my name yet" the tan female added, now looking sheepish herself. "My name's Hazel. Pleasure to have met you all" She growled, looking to the small group. "They're good company...save the female allosaur, I dont really know her that well, but Blade seems to like her, so what the hell?" Aircrest replied, shifting about in his spot so that sunlight could fall on his green and black skin. Hazel shrugged, not really sure what to say to that. She dug back into the herbivore, taking one more slab of meat from its body.

Blackcrest watched as the dryosaur came closer he slowly opened his crests and readied himself to spit. As the the dryosaur came within 3 feet of him the dilophosaur jerked his head forward quickly shooting his acid like spit right into the herbivores eyes. The herbivore started screeching in pain as the poisen started eating at its eyes deciding to end it BlackCrest burst out of the undergrowth grabbing the herbivores neck in his jaws crushing the wind pipe and ending its life.

Meanwhile Chomper had just finished a hunt and was patrolling when he scented something he decided to check it out.

Ein had just came out of the thick jungle and into a more open area, a half-eaten Galli hanging from his mouth. He tossed his head back and swallowed the rest of the small herbivore. Afterwards, he used his tongue to lick the sides of his mouth the best he could before moving on, realizing a hiss that could easily be mistaken to have come from the throat of a vicious, large crocodile.

Thirsty, he moved on to the river. Wasn't very far away, it was just a few miles away from his territory.

As Goldeye, SPike, and Lightfoot finished their cooling down in the rive,r the three carnivores began to head off back toward the house. Lightfoot's pain almost immediately set in ocne he began to move, but by now he was able to grin and bear it. Spike's injuries had mostely healed by now, except for the permanent missing chunk of his sail. Goldeye didn't suffer any serious injuries, though her ribs being very close to her organs may post problems, though she ehrself didn't know of it...

After a long rest Umbra awoke hungry as usual. The carcasses he had feasted on before were picked clean by scavengers. A hunt was exactly what Umbra needed to kill his bordom along with his hunger. He stood up and lumbered west a little bit, happening upon a small group of corythisaurs. He lunged at them with his jaws agape. He grabbed one by it's neck in his mouth and began shaking it violently to insure it's neck was broken. He then began feasting on his recent kill.

The Elder watched silently, his gaze looking out across the ocean ahead of him, the Raptor perched on a large metallic protrusion extended from one of the buildings at the shore of this strange human land. beneath his feet, the harsh rusted metallic surface was broken up by patches of moss and lichen, which, against all odds, had begun to thrive on the structure with the rich, humid weather that now ruled this part of the world. Ripper watched the horizon over the ocean as the sun ascended inti the sky, it's silver and gold rays seeming to float like a layer of molten metal on the surface of the rolling waves before him. his mind drifted, for a few precious moments roaming free in the jungles he had known all his life....back on the island. the herds of herbivores of all shapes and sizes, moving from place to place in order to feed themselves, dragonflies buzzing past, snatching butterflies and other smaller insects in mid air, compies scurrying through the undergrowth, beneath exposed roots, around the feet of larger creatures, and over logs and stones in their way, constantly searching for scraps to feed off. his mind drifted through the old, overgrown, worn down corridors of the Lab Complex he had made his home...his whole family lay there. He was the last of that generation. the first born, and the last to die. as a flock of birds flew overhead, Ripper sighed, his mind oddly at peace. he sensed a change on the winds. smiling, the Elder Raptor turned, carefully descending the metallic pole towards the ground below...

Crusher turned to face the way he came, having crossed the bridge. the Rex made an amused grunt as he looked at his handiwork. across the bridge was a long swathe of destruction, vehicles crushed or casually knocked aside by the massive Tyrannosaur during his trek across the bridge. in recent times, every shred of amusement was precious. Crusher was a creature whose mind was programmed for survival. more so than most, if any. but even he felt the longing pain of homesickness. this was, regardless of past experiences, still an alien world to him. many of the benefits he gained by learning the details of the nature of his surroundings on Sorna, were lost to him in this new, artificial landscape. casting his thoughts aside, he continued onwards towards his family. with all the roaming he had done over the course of the previous days, he had decided that his current territory had the highest potential. though perhaps, in the following weeks, he'd move to force out the other residents of the territories surrounding his own. claiming the most heavily forested areas for himself and his family meant that they had a strong hold on the supply of prey in the area, as well as ample supplies of water. allowing other super predators to have a share of the territory's food supply, in exchange for preventing other predators from crossing their territory into Crusher's, would grant him similar benefits to what he had back home...and hopefully, it'd be the stepping stone towards securing a comfortable life for his family in this strange home...

as Fatalis neared, the Stegosaur came into view, feeding on the foliage, stripping the leaves off a nearby bush. Fatalis circled through the undergrowth until he was almost in front of the herbivore, before giving the signal to Pulsar to strike, charging, and leaping onto the herbivore's neck, a panicked groan coming from the herbivore as it backpedalled, shaking its head somewhat, it's tail flailing violently to prevent a strike from behind while it was destracted, Fatalis digging his claws deep into the herbivore's neck and shoulder as he kicked at it's throat in an attempt to slit it, hoping to cut off the herbivore's air supply...

Blade shot a wary glance at Aircrest, hissing "Not so loud" as quietly as he could while still letting the Raptor hear him...

Aircrest responded to the hiss with a wordless grunt and a flick of a clawed foot in the Allosaur's general direction, choosing not to say much else about the matter. He laid his head on the grass, enjoying the warmth of the sun

Selena chuckled, growling, "The pleasure's all ours, Hazel." She returned to the kill noting out of the corner of her eye Alira's amused roll of the eyes.

Taking one last chunk out of the Gallimimus, Hazel pulled her snout out of the herbivore. She nodded to Selena before working it down her throat. "Well Im full. Thanks Aircrest" She growled. Aircrest grunted again. "Dont mention it" He growled. Hazel turned about and headed to the lake, thirsty after her meal

Spike, Goldeye , and Lightfoot finally arrived back at the house, various mosses and ivy growing all over the structure. Oddly for them, the greenery on it reminded them of their old homes abit, back on the island. All three of them missed that wonderous place with it's varied environments, but no matter where they were, somethings never changed. Wherever it be on Sorna or in this former human community, there were things to kill to eat, water to drink, places to ambush from, and resting places. As they entered the house, Spike lowered himself onto all fours to enter, then fell asleep. Both Goldeye and Lightfoot also laid down onto their sides, then fell asleep. for them, the skills they homed back on Sorna had helped them survive here, and would continue to help them out...

...You're sure the air is safe to breath?" a slightly distorted voice said aloud, looking out the window of an apartment complex some feet into the air. "We would have never begun the operation if it wasn't. You're clear to breath normally, but keep the helmet on." a voice responded in his ear, the man pressing something on the helmet, causing a sharp release of air. The reserve tanks were cut off, the helmet now allowing him to breath normally. "What are you afraid of?" the man asked as he raised a long rail-like rifle, pointing it out the window, using the scope to look further into the distance. "We don't know what lives here, and there were unidentified vessels spotted at the docks." the voice explained.

"Pirates?" the man asked as he moved the rifle to view another angle of the street. "That's what we think. And the ships are huge cargo vessels...they were doing something here, and we intend to find out what." the voice explained. The man flipped a switch on the base of the rifle, causing the scope view to change, allowing him to see through solid objects. "Get moving. Head toward the docks, and report everything you find." the voice concluded before switching off. Returning to the normal view, the man placed the rail rifle on his back, carrying a small bag of provisions as he made his way down the apartment complex...

In one of the city's main streets, a lone Gorgonops patrolled the area, sniffing the area. Lurker had fared reasonably well here in this new environment. His wounds he had obtained from a fight with a raptor had healed, and he had fed very well. the gorgonops picked up a scent, one that he hadn't smelt in a very long time... Human... The gorgonops snarled as he proceeded down the street with caution, and for good reason. He knew that humans carried strange weapons that could kill even a Seismosaurus with one shot...

a low threatening hiss echoed in an alleyway to the side of the Gorgonops. "Well well...if it isn't the arrogant Gorgonops. back again?" snarled the Deinonychus as he stepped out of the alley, walking around the creature...

Aircrest rolled onto his feet a few minutes after Hazel left for the lake, walking over to the kill. He stepped around it until he was standing by its back, lifting a foot and bringing his sickle claw down to slit open the flesh on the herbivore's muscular thigh. He then rested the foot on the Gallimimus' side, bending down and tearing kill with his mate

Redtooth, having been scouting out the city alone for quite some time, was faring well. The Spino had moved to the dock area, which was his favorite fishing spot. Getting as close as possible to the water's edge, Redtooth gulped down some water, more intent on quenching his thirst before finding more food...

Howler paced back and forth impatiently. He wasn't very fond of staying alone with Renegade, and wanted the other three raptors to get back as soon as possible...

Lurker's eyes narrowed upon hearing the voice of Hellfire. The gorgonops turned his head to face the deinonychus, a low snarl coming from his mouth. He hadn't picked up the scent of raptor here, only human, so why was he here? "I did not come for a fight... I didn't even know you were here..." Lurker snarled, the gorgonops not in the mood for a rematch. All he cared about right now was the human scent he had picked up...

Rhojis and Sylicora crept through the undergrowth not far from each other. They had hung back a bit behind the others, and when they heard commotion ahead, both broke into a run. They weren't sure if they'd be able to find a place to latch onto the dangerous herbivore while avoiding its spiked tail and the other two raptors who would no doubt have already occupied spots near its neck. As they came closer, they swerved one after the other, away from the thrashing tail, eyes seeking out the best available place to strike the panicked Stegosaur. Sylicora slowed, hesitating to attack until she could be sure it wasn't going to suddenly turn around, watching the gray raptor speed off around to its other side...

Meanwhile, Switchblade's head snaked out the door of a rundown cafe, glancing down the street first one way, then another. She had checked the place thoroughly for signs of the familiar scents, but found only tiny traces of something that she couldn't even be sure was one of the same creatures. Taking a few steps out onto the sidewalk, she tilted her double-crested head skyward, pondering her next move. She didn't want to drag Rose all over the city, but so far, she hadn't had much luck since coming across the apartment where she originally caught the scents. Maybe she would try to find the apartment again, in case they hadn't abandoned it. Deciding that would be her best bet, the Lili pulled her gaze away from the soft morning sky and arched her neck, hearing a couple of soft cracks as her joints slowly loosened themselves...

"You didn't detect me because i didn't want you to. and do you really think i care if you don't want a fight? maybe I do" hissed Hellfire as he continued to circle, making sure to keep himself behind the quadrupedal carnivore to maintain his advantage...
