Copper jaw was roaming through the city streets, not hunting or looking for water, but simply roaming. He glanced about the human vehicles strewn about the street, still feeling some interest about them despite having seen many others since he had arrived here. The rex hadn't been challenged by any other predators for the warehouse he had claimed for himself. "This can only mean that they are claiming areas located further in the strange jungle" he thought to himself...

Lurker turned his head back once again to face Hellfire, the gorgonops readying himself for anything. "Just let me pass... I only came to investigate the scent of human in the area..." Lurker growled, befor econtinuing on his way. He still remembered how his last fight with Hellfire went, and he didn't wan tto relive that bad memory...

"Fool. this entire ISLAND smells of the humans. Have you ever thought of why so many fear them? they're dangerous. only an idiot would go TO the scent. a fresh scent means more humans have arrived. humans kill what they can't capture. looking at your size, they will kill you outright, without a second thought. Or haven't you considered that?" hissed the Deinonychus...

"Morning," Rose murmured sleepily, hearing Switchblade stirring. The blind raptor lifted her head and yawned, stretching. She'd curled up in a corner and rested her chin, staring at whatever was in front of her and feeling her useless eyes drift slowly shut until she finally fell asleep. Her dreams had been particularly cruel this time, swarming with memories of seeing her environment. More than once she'd been teased with glimpses of her parents' faces; Silver and Rawclaw. Her heart clenched as she wondered where they were, if they were still with Starspot's pack, and if they were worried about her. "Slept well?" she asked her companion, trying to take her mind off of her family and the pack that had taken on a burden like herself. She couldn't hunt, couldn't really fight, but they'd still accepted her. She owed them a lot, and now she didn't know if she'd ever find them again.

Ein approached the flowing river, leaning forwards and lapping up the water with his tongue into his dry mouth. After a nice drink, he lifted his head and looked around. He saw a basking Deinosuchus on the bank across the river, that was about it.

His nostrils flared, sniffing his surroundings. His lip curled, showing his dirty, bloody teeth clenched upon each other.

He hunched his head low and moved into the trees again, disappearing into the vegetation.

A few moments later, Aircrest pulled his bloodied snout from the Gallimimus, the upper thigh and part of the shin almost completely skeletonized, with bits of hanging flesh gripping onto the pale bones. The bits of walking, running and more walking from the day before was sustained by eating a juvinile iguanadon, but was ultimately burned out by the time he found Selena. He felt much better now. He stepped back from the kill and looked to Selena. "Want to head off soon?" He growled the female. He thought about revisting the old resting spot he came across the day he decided to go looking for Ripper.

A dull thump sounded behind the group of raptors, Darkness finally leaving his perch in the tree. Craning his neck from side to side, the dark raptor began to walk away from the others, intent on finding something else to do...

The man walked on, the color of his lightly armored body changing continuously to match his surroundings, making him difficult to spot. The rail rifle remained on his back, now holding a sub-machine gun, slowly making his way down the empty streets toward the docks. The city was eerily quiet...he thought he could hear the sounds of animals in the distance, but they were too far for him to identify...

How long had it been? The young raptor couldn't tell. They had been at it for hours...maybe days. Who knew? All he knew was that it was going no where. He knew this, but they did not. Zheja found himself laying on a sidewalk, watching the two older raptors battle it out in the street. The fight, however, was beginning to take its tole on the two. Although they were bloodied and battered from the fighting, the two were quite capable of avoiding each others' attacks. If not for this, they surely would've died from blood loss by now. The fight had slowed to almost a crawl, the two combatants panting heavily as they attacked slowly and lazily. Zheja had half a mind to kill one just to end it...

Selena swiped her tongue around her muzzle, cleaning her lips of blood and bits of flesh. "Got a place you want to go?" she growled, cocking her head.

Alira had moved off to have a drink of her own. From Aircrest's words, it seemed he, Hazel and Selena were about to take off. Alira had half a mind to explore a bit more on her own, but she had said she'd stay with Blade and she didn't intend to break her word. Unless he gave some sign that he was tiring of her, at least.

"I already knew that, raptor... " Lurker snarled, not even bothering to llook at Hellfire. "I was jsut going to take a little look to see if there wer enew humans here... I ain't going to jsut present myself as target practice for them.. I'll be hidden in the shadows, of course... Jus tgonna poke my nose in, see what they're upto, then get out of there..." The gorgonops knew that humans were dangerous, but his own curiosity was gettting to him. He jsut wanted to see what was going on...

"Somewhere I stumbled across when I was paying Ripper a visit. was a good resting spot, a nice fallen tree to bask on, a creek not too far from it. You interested?" Aircrest replied, running the flat sides of his claws down the back of his neck

Pulsar, upon seeing Fatalis charge the stegosaur, had begin to run as well, going sideways in a sweeping sprint, making his way around to the other side of the distressed stegosaurus, which was isolated and by itself at this point. He lunged at the creature's side as he neared it, jumping up onto it's flank. Digging his claws in, he swiped the herbivore, just at the base of its neck and beginning of its shoulders, trying to reach its windpipe and end its life quickly, as he waited for Fatalis to do the same on the other side...

as Fatalis repeatedly kicked at the throat, the herbivore shook, rearing up for a few seconds before slamming back down, Fatalis' claws raking down it's side several inches, imbedding themselves deeper, while also giving him a perfect angle to take out the through. giving one last powerful kick, the killer claw made contact, ripping right through the herbivore's throat, a gurgling gasping sound coming from the stegosaur as it's windpipe was ruptured, Fatalis kicking off to let the kill suffocate and drown in it's own blood, to minimise injury while it died. the Raptor circled around, watching his handiwork, the herbivore now panicking, it's mind beginning to shut down due to lack of air, it's movements becoming spasmodic and unsynchronised...

Pulsar hung on, using the stegosaur's spasms and twitching to his advantage. He swung himself up, so was on top of the stegosaur's neck and shoulders, bringing his foot down on the creature's head. As it invariably dropped to the ground, he spiked his claw downward, forcing it through the herbivore's skull and brain...

Fatalis watched as the herbivore shuddered and twitched involuntarily, the creature dead, the Raptor nodding to the newcomer that had helped take it down, before walking towards one of the siblings, noticing they had moved...as if planning to attack themselves...

"And you think an overgrown quadrupedal predator your size is going to be able to hide from the humans? you're more naive than i thought" hissed Hellfire...

Pulsar lightly stepped off the dead dinosaur, not showing any aggression or malice toward it.
He paused, looking awkwardly at the other raptors, letting them have the first of the meal, as they had helped him take it down...

Renegade looked around, crouching down and allowing himself to rest. It was obviously going to be quite some time before the others returned, and he may as well take advantage of that. He gave Howler a passing glance, neither friendly nor spiteful, casually indifferent of the other raptor...

"I know I can be unseen by them... If a large predator can hunt in this desolate place unseen, then so can I..." Lurker snarled as he continued on his way...

Hellfire chuckled, amused at the idiocy of the creature. how was it possible for something so stupid to live so long? "Do as you like....but when you're taking your last breaths...remember what i said" growled the Deinonychus as he walked off inwardly taking guesses as to how long the Gorgonops would last while charging at the human...

Fatalis made a single loud bark, summoning his pack, the call echoing impressively for a creature his size. he hoped it'd reach Howler and Renegade...but had his doubts. they weren't too far away...but the surroundings didn't help sound go far, so he wasn't sure a raptor's bark would be sufficient to get the attention of his packmates...

Hazel came back from the lake, water dripping from her snout and her once blood stained claws rinsed clean. From the looks of things, they were in the middle of discussing something. "Whats going on?" She growled, cocking her head. Aircrest turned to her and growled "Thinking about heading out"
"Ah... well, good luck to you two" She replied, bowing her head slightly. Aircrest raised a scaley eyebrow. "Your not coming?"
"You...want me to?" Hazel asked, looking back up. Aircrest sighed and shook his head. "Its been...years since I last saw you, Im sure not letting you wander off just a day after I find you again, and Im damn sure not letting you wander off in some place we hardly know anything about!" He barked, rephrasing what Hazel told him the day before. Hazel looked to Selena and growled "You dont mind?"

"Not at all," Selena growled, looking from Aircrest to Hazel and back. "You know how to get there from here?" she asked, not exactly wanting to get lost.

Howler stopped as he heard the echo of a raptor's bark. It might have been Fatalis. Then again, maybe it wasn't. Deciding that it couldn't hurt to find out, he followed the sound, letting Renegade decide whether or not to follow...
