"Right, right" Aircrest growled, turning his head about, snout pointed to the green cover of leaves over head as he collected his thoughts. "Well, there we were just standing around, looking at each other. It was pretty awkward for me because they were just clamoring about something I had no idea about at the time and then suddenly they look at me like some sort of maniac. Kinda like how I looked at that Redeye raptor we ran into" He barked. "If a raptor stumbled out of nowhere while we were talking, I would look at it funny too" Hazel growled. "Good point..." "They told me about the Tyrannosaur, Bladetooth. He was making life difficult for a pack of albino raptors and the gray one and her friends" Aircrest replied, tapping Selena's side with the tip of his tail when he said 'gray one'

"And neither was I!" Aircrest barked. "Granted, I had nothing better to do at the time, so I offered the group one of my best talents" Hazel widened an eye and growled "Please dont tell me you-"
"I decided to play bait" Aircrest growled. Hazel was silent for a few moments, trying to process what she had heard. The corner of her mouth twitched a few times before she hissed to Selena "You knew?! You knew and you still fell in love with him!?"
"Its not like we hit it off immediatly" Aircrest barked. "I was just a friend of her's at the time and she was someone I could talk to before going off alone again. That never happened...the going off alone thing"

Sylicora paused in the act of bending down to tear the Stegosaur's calf muscel open. "Whoa, wait. Me? Why not him?" she hissed in a slightly nervous tone, jerking her head toward Rhojis. "He's better at this kind of stuff than I am... What if I mess up again?" "Hey, you make it sound like I have skill. Do you think I feel any more confident about taking on a fully grown Stegosaur than you do?" the gray raptor hissed, shooting her a sidelong look and a wry smile before turning back to the leg and lowering his jaws to rip out a chunk. "Well... okay, no, but... I don't know about this," she finished, voice slowly dropping to a murmur. Once Rhojis had torn away a mouthful of meat, she moved forward for a bite, hoping the next time they came across a Stegosaur, she would be ready...

Switchblade was silent for a moment, the corners of her mouth pulling into a light, appreciative smile. She knew life probably wasn't the best it could be for Rose, and was glad her old packmate decided nonetheless to stick with her on her search. "That means alot too. I do appreciate this..." The Lili then turned to glance down the street again, checking that there was still nothing coming toward them. "Well, it looks to be safe out here for the moment... Want to get going?"

Fatalis chuckled. "You saw me. he didn't. that's why you go next" growled Fatalis simply as he continued eating. "In any case, i won't be hunting a Stegosaur again for a while. not unless we cant find anything else. by the time we hunt again, you'll probably have enough experience to be able to do that yourself. we'll all be attacking it. but you'll be taking the neck" he added between mouthfuls...

Hazel snorted a few times, trying not to laugh at what she had just heard. Aircrest, pretending not to hear growled "I bet your wondering where Howler comes into this story. Well he and his brother...Stone...face... happened to be Bladetooth's lackies...for some reason I never found out or forgot. Well, after I baited the rex into running over to a cliff side and Selena and her friends sent a boulder into his side which sent him plummeting to his death...we inherrited his lackies."
"Inherrited?" Hazel asked. "Not so much as inherrit...mostly them chasing after us for some reason I dont recall. Do you, Selena?" Aircrest barked

As the raptors conversed around the Stego corpse, Dragonfly scampered up, snatched a chunk of flesh, and scrambled away, back to where Razorwing was casually sitting, nestled in a small clump of weeds protruding from a crack in the asphalt. Howler looked up from his meal at the retreating compy, only to spot Pulsar for the first time. "Uh... hi there?" he growled, confusion obvious in his tone.
