Aircrest about to retort but cocked his head at the sound of Ripper's swift disappearace. It was quiet and if he had been caught up in conversation, would have definitly have missed it. He blinked a few times before looking back to Hellfire. "Hellfire, how old were you when you took a mate?" He growled, genuinly curious. "And how old was the 'Golden Olden' who was just here when he took his?"

"Well.....i was about....16 when i found my mate......20 or something when i lost her and my daughter" he growled, genuinely surprised that he could talk about it so calmly. "As for Ripper....you'd be better off asking him. though i'm almost sure it was long before i was born, if he even had an actual mate" he growled, turning his head over to where Ripper was, seeing an empty space. "But it seems that'll have to wait for another time" hissed the Deinonychus with a grunt...

"I see..." Aircrest growled, thinking. In a few months or so, he'd be 16 himself. "And your...what?" Aircrest grunted, examining Hellfire's features for signs of age. "30? 40? Funny how time passes" After another pause, he barked "About Ripper though... if he had a mate, either they went their seperate ways or...they went their seperate ways...if you catch my drift"

"Well, from what i know of him, he seems not to like talking about it" growled Hellfire with a shrug. "Whatever happened, he doesn't like to be reminded" he hissed...

"Then I think its time for a new subject. You know, incase he's watching." Aircrest growled, looking up to the sky, which had transitioned in the familar deep blue. It was mostly clear now, the patchy layers of clouds long disbanded and drifted off in the seemingly endless expanse. "Nice weather, huh?" Aircrest growled, his gaze still pointed upwards. "Hell of a lot better than yesterday...no pun intended"

Rhojis and Sylicora continued to eat in silence, the gray raptor knowing he'd have to pay extra close attention to every hunt they went on from now on so he'd be ready when the day came that he was called on to make the kill. Sylicora also felt a bit more pressure, knowing she'd be first, but not knowing exactly when. To ease the mildly discomforting thought, she let her mind wander, thinking about the growing pack and what they might be doing in the near future. She wasn't entirely comfortable about Pulsar's sudden arrival, and got the impression her brother wasn't either, coming from a family that was very isolated, but figured that if Fatalis wasn't worried, there was no cause for them to be...

Hellfire stared at Aircrest, a very unamused look on his face. he was just about to snarl something when an enraged bellow boomed behind him, a fairly large tree trunk flying overhead and slamming into two more trees, shaking them violently as the tree trunk hit the ground, severly damaged by whatever launched it. "Oh look. a flying tree trunk. yep. there's your crazy, Aircrest. it finally happened. now we have to watch out for flying TREES" he hissed unamusedly...

Aircrest looked at the fallen tree, leaves raining down from the two trees it slammed into and wood splinters scattered about the area. "Well what do you know?" Aircrest barked. "Another fallen tree...the other is not too far from here, and I think we found what knocked that one over. Just when I thought this place couldnt get better, it did. Now I can bask resting on an incline" Hazel's eyes were locked on the timber, lost for words. "This is your life?!" she hissed after a moment of silence. "Told you" Was the green raptor's response, shrugging. He was more interested in what launched the tree to begin with...

as a pair of bushes were pushed aside, a large, dark skinned Triceratops stepped out, entering the creek and walking across, a low grumbling growl coming from the herbivore. "This place is horrible. there's nothing decent to eat ANYWHERE. if i ever get my horns on a human i'll turn them into trophies" grumbled Erebus as he literally walked through the creek, to the other side, and between Hellfire, Aircrest, Hazel and Selena, practically challenging them all to so much as DARE to look at him twice, the furious triceratops burning for a chance to vent his anger. Hellfire gave the herbivore a wide gaite. he had seen rampaging bull ceratopsians before...and it was terrifying, even to him. the amount of destruction they were capable of causing was almost unimaginable...

Aircrest simply stood his ground, watching as the giant lumbered through. He cocked his head at what the herbivore was rambling on about, but other than that, did not move. Hazel stared after the triceratops, completely dumbfounded, slightly unerved by the tremors with each of the hulking creature's foot steps

"Welcome to my world," Selena muttered to the fan female, shifting away as the Triceratops lumbered by. She didn't want to end up impaled on the angry herbivore's horns.

the herbivore slammed its head sideways into a young sapling, barely higher than the edge of it's crest, the tree snapping feebly, the triceratops lumbing on into the treeline, Hellfire watching it go. "Well that's the most interesting thing that's happened to me today" hissed Hellfire once he was sure the trike was out of earshot...

Selena snorted. "Give it till sundown," she growled. "Who knows; something even crazier might happen."

"I want to fall on a T-rex's head again. That was fun" Aircrest growled shortly after. "You had to eat one of those? And by eat I mean con a carnotaur?" He barked to Hellfire. "Has it always been like this for you? Even before you met Aircrest?" Hazel growled softly, feeling her rappid heart beat in her chest

"Sometimes," Selena growled with a shrug. "I've had days where things that made absolutely no sense happened to or in front of me. Since I met Aircrest it happens more often, though."

"since i left pack life, yeah" he hissed. "shut up, Aircrest. contrary to what Ripper said, i at least ate a large amount of it. got 4 meals worth of food out of the thing before i gave up when i realised i had barely scratched the surface" he growled as he eyed the Raptor...

"Like I said. I'd have been asleep before I finished a leg. And what a nice sleep that would be..." The green raptor replied before making a contented rumble in his throat. "No wonder your all friends here" Hazel growled, laying her head on the ground as she calmed herself down

Selena chuckled. "Indeed."

"Aw, does someone need a nuzzling?" Aircrest growled, glancing over to Hazel. "No. No I dont" Hazel hissed, her voice wavering slightly. Aircrest shook his head and walked over to his sister, laying down by her side. "The trike's gone, you know. Its alright. No need to be scared."
"Im not scared...it just took me by suprise!" She grunted, shifting about where she laid. Aircrest blinked a few times before growling to Selena "Eh... little help here?"

Selena bumped Hazel's neck with her muzzle. "Sure it did," she rumbled. Lowering her voice to just above a whisper, she added, "It scared me too, believe me."
