Bloodsail, as he left the area, suppressed the urge to snap back at the voice about what had happened thanks to the humans, but decided against. Why waste his breath talking to strange voices coming from the trees? For all he knew, it was just a figment of his groggy mind. Shaking his head, the Spino wished for the umpteenth time that day that the effects of the tranquilizers would wear off soon...

Kronos and Lehra continue following the scent of the parasaurolophus.........

As soon as Fatalis was sure the Spinosaur was gone he bolted back through the trees to Sylicora, hoping it wasn't too late. he stopped in a tree directly over her, prepared to drop from the trees and kill anyone that made a move towards her...

Now really finding himself to enjoy the company of raptors, Dawntheif moved on, seeing as the only thing theyd done was almost trample him and punt him througth the air. Growing irritated, Dawntheif began to run back the allosaur's kill-site running at top speed greatly surpassing the raptors, mainly because he was much smaller and more manuverable in the thick forest.

Sylicora spun around, eyes raking the vegetation around her, first one way, then the other, her head snapping back and forth, trying in vain to find the source of the sounds. She spun on the spot, confused and overwhelmed by the sudden onslaught of sounds, teeth bared as another high, hissing growl escaped her, this time mixed with a note of despair. What had caused the vibration she'd felt in the ground? Where did the many voices around her come from? Where was she? What was happening? Spinning around again, yellow eyes wide with more emotions than she'd ever felt at one time, she suddenly found her flank against a tree and screeched out again in a voice filled with anger, desperation and fear. Pushing away from the rough bark, she backed up a few paces, wanting to bolt, but not even sure which direction was which anymore...

Pulsar looked from Rhojis, who had come back looking as if someone had died, and Howler, who may as well have been speaking a different language.
"Will no one tell me what's going on?" he growled, baffled by the strange turn of events that had just taken place...

Astus found the young female backing up towards his position. He let out a quiet growl, looking down at her with black eyes that were somehow softer than Siri and the rest of the pack were used to seeing. Siri and Inculta revealed their positions, the dominant female's confident stance giving away her rank. She watched, waiting for the youngster to calm down, sympathy battling with what needed to be done in her mind. The internal conflict was almost visible in her heather-colored eyes. Inculta appeared to be the only one unmoved, his golden gaze unreadable. "Easy young one. We won't hurt you, unless you give us reason to," Astus growled, in a rare show of gentleness.

Renegade surprisingly stood up and walked toward Howler and Pulsar, glancing at Rhojis as he retreated to a corner of the cave. It was the first time he had significantly moved in hours
Looking meaningfully between them, he hissed, "We should go find those two. They may be in more danger than they realize. I've seen my fair ssshare around here, and there are some viciousss packs all around..."

"Just great, why must these things be everywhere?" Though Dawntheif as hid silent and unmoving in the bushes. A young raptor had gathered his attention, and Dawntheif had considered it to be prey, if the beast was wounded, wich he had thought earlier, but now seeing it upclose, it was perfectly healthy, just a few cuts here and there. But then a pack a raptors had shown up, the lead one, who had punted him a few moments earlier, had almost stepped on him when she revealed herself. Now only a few inches away from the raptors lethal Ducalw, Dawntheif sat silently waiting for the animals to leave.

Fatalis landed from above with a soft thud at Sylicora's flank, studying the others warily, showing no hint of his emotions or intentions to them...

Rhojis gave Howler the best nod he could while his head rested on the ground, then glanced briefly at Renegade, hissing, "They'll probably be fine... Well, relatively speaking..."

Sylicora jumped visibly and took an instinctive step away from the raptor behind her, yellow gaze snapping to each several times before lingering for a moment on the stranger who had spoken. She was still breathing fast through clenched teeth, but didn't make a move to run, whether out of fear or the speck of comfort the raptor's words had given her, she didn't know. She jumped again at the sound right beside her, instinctively raising a clawed hand, but slowly relaxing after realizing it was Fatalis...

And then there were two, Siri thought. "You're trespassing on our territory," she growled, gaze flicking between the male and the female the three pack raptors had pursued here. "State your names, and your reasons for being here."

"Well you may be sick, but at least your in one peice" Hazel said after a short pause. "Im glad you didnt go play your games with the giants while you were gone"
"Yeah...well...you know...if you really felt that strongly about it...then of course I wouldnt do...that..." Aircrest growled awkwardly. Hazel shook her head. "You've lied to others in their face and kept perfectly calm about it, but now your stumbling over your words?"
"Hey, theres a difference between lying to a stranger and lying to someone close to me" Aircrest growled. "Its probably the only trace of decency I have left"
"Well isnt that sweet?" Hazel growled teasingly. Aircrest started to snicker, interupted by another loud sneeze. "Im not a complete jackass...as long as you and Selena still live, that is" He growled after with a few sniffles, shaking his head as he tried to clear it. It had no effect.

Renegade looked at Rhojis, his brow ridge furrowing slightly.
"Are you sssure?" he asked the raptor. He knew deep inside of him what his real fear was, for him and the others. There were plenty of raptor packs that may have been completely harmless, perhaps even friendly. But, though he would never admit it... he dreaded running into anyone from his own old pack again. He had managed to escape the first time, though if they had been toying with him and let him go he didn't know. Then again, before the humans had brought him back to this island, when they were learning to climb trees... he shuddered, thinking of it. He had never told any of them, but if any of the others had been injured, or even killed, by the Dromaeosaur, he would have been responsible...
He closed his eyes, clearing the thought.
What are the chances of him... or any of them... finding us again, here? he thought. Somewhat reassured, he opened his eyes, turning back around to return to his spot on the floor...

"I'm honored," Selena growled, having been woken by Aircrest's repeated sneezes. The amusing banter between the siblings had kept her awake, and now she couldn't help but join in. She went on in a teasing tone, "Me being alive keeps you from being an as*hole to random strangers? That's reassuring. I should stick around a little longer."

The big black raptor standing behind Dawntheif had shuffled around a bit when the other raptors arrived, and the sharp tip of her duclaw peirced the skin on Dawntheif's back. Dawn theif let out a loud pained hoot, and unknowingly rain straight at the largest male raptor in the gathering.

Howler eyed Renegade strangely as he walked away, but ignored it, turning back to Rhojis. "Come on, Rhojis, cheer up! You did the best you could, you know that, and I'm sure Sy knows that too. I bet you anything that her and Fatalis will walk right back in here soon enough, and they'll be fine."

Inculta's foot shot out, knocking the the Eoraptor onto its side and pinning it in moments. He went on watching his mate and the intruders as if nothing had happened, though his sickle claw hovered above the smaller predator's neck in a warning; I'll deal with you when this is over.

"I never said that" Aircrest growled. "Just that I wouldnt be an a*shole to you two. Its too much fun making a joke about life and all who live, with the exception of you two...maybe Blade and Switchblade...its a habit of mine to make fun of Hellfire...and Ripper...well, he makes fun of me almost as much as I make fun of him. Funny thing about that is my jokes about his age is how I show my respect...if that makes any sense"
"Aircrest..." Hazel growled. "Hardly anything about you makes any sense"
