Steeltalon ran over and knocked Silver to the ground, holding her there with one foot. "Where were you?!" she growled, her fear turning into anger. Silver's eyes widened. "I was at Crusher's nest with Darkness and there was another raptor there and then we left," she explained in one breath. Steeltalon bared her teeth furiously. "Why didn't you tell me you were leaving? I thought you'd gotten yourself killed!" Silver, her temper so much like Steeltalon's, got angry. "Well I didn't," Silver snapped, struggling out of Steeltalon's grip. Steeltalon spat furiously and turned her back, stalking over to a sunny spot to relax. Silver went to the rock that overhangs the stream and laid down on it, closing her eyes with a quiet hiss.

Darkness heard the arguement outside. He sighed, and rose from the ground. He sulked out of the cave and over to Steeltalon. ...She was only following me... he growled, not looking at Steeltalon. I shouldn't have went....Its my fault. Please don't take it out on her... he growled quietly.

Steeltalon glanced at Darkness and raised her head with a sigh. "I just hope she can learn to tell me where she's going beforehand," she growled, switching her gaze to the off-white hatchling. "Or there's going to be a problem." Silver heard Steeltalon and growled angrily.

Hunter thought for a bit, and growled "The only way i can see to fix it is to do something that not many would do, for her. in the mean time, do the things she likes for example, she wants you to watch Rawclaw. watch him, and teach him something useful at the same time. take care of her. show that you care often. a nuzzle every now and then goes a long way. make sure she's happy, and if she's not, find out why, and make her happy". Hunter saw a dead anky hatchling. he picked it up, and bit down, crushing it's bones and eating it. they continued...

"Hmm," Steeltalon muttered thoughtfully. Silver ran over and tried to bite Steeltalon, only to get pinned down by one of Steeltalon's hands. "Wonder where she got that from," Steeltalon growled sarcastically, amused. Silver growled bravely and tried to fight her way out, but Steeltalon kept a tight grip. "You want out?" Silver nodded, struggling a bit more. "Just don't go running off," Steeltalon hissed as she released Silver.

Darkness was surprised by this act from Silver. Play fighting or not, it was odd for her. Then, it hit Darkness. Play fighting... he growled out loud. He and Steeltalon could teach her how to fight....then it wouldn't be as bad if she was out on her own...

"Hm, I will be trying that Hunter, thank you." They continued on in silence. Rawhide's eyes were focused on the ground. He was deep in thought. Make her happy, watching over RawClaw, teach him something useful. Ok, I will be doing that when I return from my stay with Crusher. Will my nightmares ever end? He wanted to think that they would, but he had a deep fear that they would continue on.

Steeltalon looked at Darkness, surprised. "What?" she growled, keeping an eye on Silver.

Silver blinked at Darkness. "What do you mean?" she asked. Steeltalon stood and arched her back in a stretch. She wasn't exactly sure what kind of fighting training Darkness meant.

Steeltalon nodded. She glanced at a tree she had slashed at regularly to keep her claws sharp and her fighting skills ready. Silver followed Steeltalon's gaze to the tree and blinked curiously. "Battle training like what Steeltalon used to do?" she asked. Steeltalon shook her head. "Not quite. I didn't have anyone to spar with. But you do." She nudged Silver towards Darkness.[/i]

Darkness was hurt already, but he didn't mind. Yes, you do. he growled to the small raptor. Now, show us what you can do. Darkness growled as he backed up. Just makes sure its not lethal. he growled, glancing at his cuts and then at Steeltalon. He turned back to Silver and waited to see what she would do...

Silver flashed past Darkness and bit his ankle, then jumped onto his back and dug her killing toes in, careful to make sure they didn't go too deep.

Silver nodded and backed up a little, calculating every move carefully. She was smaller, so she could be able to use that to her advantage. Silver ran forward again and lashed out with a killing toe, giving Darkness a cut on his lower leg. Steeltalon was watching nearby, to make sure things didn't spiral out of control.
