Silver climbed up onto Darkness' back and from there made her way up to his head where she stood with her chin lifted proudly. Steeltalon had to give a purr of amusement. "The mighty warrior!"

Silver nodded. Steeltalon laid back down in her sunny spot, watching Silver.

Hunter growled "Everything ends eventually. you'll have to forget that part of your life to forget the dreams about it.you know whose side your on. just ignore everything the other side tells you to do". they were nearing the cave...

Darkness left Silver to her business and walked over to the rock overlooking the stream. He climbed on top of it and layed down, thinking about his experiances. He kept glancing at Steeltalon and Silver and he couldn't understand why. Why am I still here? Darkness thought to himself. It was true, Steeltalon said he could stay so he could get better. He had healed a great deal and could now hunt again, so why did he remain here? And why do I defend the hatchling and female? I would never do any such thing for anyone but myself before...and now... Darkness thought to himself as he watched Steeltalon and Silver. He shook his head. I don't know whats wrong with me.. he snarled quietly to himself, as he slowly closed his eyes...

Rawhide just stayed silent and cautiously entered the cave. He still recieved those cold glares from the other raptors, but he tried to brush it off and walked up straight to SharpClaw, who was in sort of a panic. She looked like she was about to attacking something. When her eyes finally met his, she rushed at him and snarled. "Where were you? Speak quickly!"
Rawhide backed up at his mate's sudden anger. "I went to speak with Crusher. I am going to be staying with him."
"Oh, speaking with Crusher? Why were you speaking with Crusher? You were gone for a long time." She backed him almost out of the cave. The other pack members were watching with interest as SharpClaw was snarling and growling at Rawhide.
"You can speak to Hunter yourself." And with that, he ran out next to Hunter's side before she got a chance to pounce on him...

Hunter growled "Calm down, SharpClaw. Remember, tht's the sort of reaction that caused this mess in the first place". as he spoke, he caught one of the pack Raptors glaring at RawHide. Hunter turned his head to look it right in the face, which caused quite a bit of staring from the pack, who all turned to look at the Raptor. Hunter made a warning snarl, then looked back at SharpClaw. "RawHide's been having nightmares about the recent events and they're possibly caused by the cold response he's getting from the pack. these nightmares aren't exactly friendly ones. things have been heard in his nightmares that unless responded to properly could cause a repeat. keep in mind RawHide cares about you and RawClaw more than anything else. even himself. at least try and show him the same care he has for you. your mates, afterall. you should be standing by eachothers' sides when no one else will. now, RawHide's dreams are bothering him alot, so we've decided that he should stay with us for a few days, until he recovers from the nightmares. and then, he'll return, HOPEFULLY to a pack that's willing to take him in and treat him like a normal pack member, instead of STARING AT HIM AND GLARING AND HISSING AT HIM LIKE SOME INTRUDER!" he roared as he turned to look at a Raptor which was glaring at RawHide. a puff of vapour came from Hunter's nostrils as he stared at the Raptor in the face, his eyes eerily similar to Crusher's when he's nearing a rage...

Silver went down to the stream, bending her neck to drink the cool water. Once she was done, she slipped into the water and swam out to the deeper part, allowing her head to slip under so she could look around. Several fish swam past her, and Silver snapped at one almost as big as she was. Shaking her head, she managed to get it out of the water and swim to the bank with it. Silver threw her fish down and pinned it with one foot, starting to eat the fish alive.
Steeltalon happened to be watching and she noted with a flicker of pride that Silver was becoming an excellant swimmer and fisher.

The raptor quickly looked down from Hunter and retreated to the safety of the cave. The others decided to follow, not wanting to deal with the angry tyrannosaur. SharpClaw was the only one that stayed behind, taking in Hunter's words. She studied RawHide for a long time before finally barking something out. "Very well," she said softly. "Hopefully they will come to an end." She finally retreated back into the cave with the other pack members and made her way to RawClaw's nest.
RawClaw tilted his head. "What's wrong, mama. Why isn't papa coming back," he chirped.
"Your father's been having some issues. He's going to be staying with Crusher and his family until he recovers," answered SharpClaw.
Meanwhile, RawHide was making his way back to Crusher's nest with Hunter. He was a little broken by the cold greeting he got from SharpClaw.

Darkness wasn't sleeping, only resting. His eyes remained closed while his mind continued to work and think. I need something to fight... he thought to himself. Maybe if I fight something, something thats a challenge, I'll change back to myself and prove that these feelings are fake... he thought again. He heard splashing, and one eye came open, staring at the small raptor from the high rock. His eye closed again and he continued thinking. But what to fight? I can't fight Steeltalon or Silver...never...and I don't want that behemouth coming after me again, so what do I do? Darkness was in deep thought. Then, a name came roaring into his head. Onarus! he screeched out loud. He had almost falled off of the rock, and was now standing up. He looked around, and then layed back down. He closed his eyes again. That putrid waste of life escaped me once, but he will not do it again... he thought to himself. He would wait until later. Then he would set out to find his brother...

Hunter looked at the rather sad looking RawHide, and growled "Dont worry. there's nowhere to go but up from here. it'll improve. but getting rid of these nightmares is the most important thing right now". as they returned to the nest, Crusher looked at RawHide and growled "Are you tired? or are you in the mood to accompany me on a patrol?"...

Silver blinked in surprise, as did Steeltalon. "Onarus?" the little hactchling asked, licking some blood from her upper jaw. Her foot remained on the fish, even though it was dead now. Steeltalon's eyes narrowed in curiosity, but she didn't repeat Silver's question.

Silver saw Darkness' discomfort and shrugged his outburst off. She returned to eating her fish while Steeltalon started eating from the Camarosaur carcass.

Crusher growled "Very well. let's go". he then turned and headed towards the northern most edge of the territory to start the patrol. "What do you mean by difficult, RawHide?"...

Darkness decided to leave now. He got up and jumped off of the rock, landing next to the hatchling. He walked up to Steeltalon. I have to go. And I don't expect to be followed. he hissed as he looked at Silver. He ran out into the jungle and toward his first stop: Crusher's nest. This time you will not survive, brother... he snarled as he ran off toward the Tyrannosaur nest...
Darkness arrived and saw that Crusher was about to leave with Rawhide. Darkness snarled in rage at the sight of the raptor, but calmed down and revieled himself.

"When I came back, SharpClaw snarled at me and demanded me to tell her where I was. I told her that I was with you...but she didn't believe me and tried to attack me. After that, I ran to Hunter's side. Hunter explained what was going to happen and that the pack better change their attitudes by the time I come back. I have a doubt that they will ever change though." He growled in frustration. "They are fools. I don't think some of them deserve to be part of the pack."

Steeltalon nodded, knowing it was pointless to tell Darkness he was free to return if he felt like it. She knew he wouldn't miss her, and she wouldn't miss him. "Silver," she growled. "When you leave here, if you see Darkness, thank him for teaching you." Silver nodded. "Will Darkness be back?" she asked. "I honestly doubt it," Steeltalon answered truthfully. "But he might." She looked towards Darkness' vanishing form until he was swallowed up by the jungle.
