Dylan kept silent, but didn't keep his finger off the trigger as he waited to see if he'd need to start shooting. The merchants around him all picked individual targets, each having a different target than the next man. The queen, along with her childeren, continued on out of the kingdom with their eggs, before they soon found a good area to start up the colony...

Morleon shook his head. "You don't understand, human. I may assist the Collectors, but I am by no means their only source of business. That's not the important part, however. The important part is that they often trade advanced technology or a lot of credits for certain... beings..."

Krythnriin heads out to hunt, growing hungry, a group of saurians going with him.....

Jessica grunts. "You trade.... PEOPLE... for money? How DARE you....."

"Time we should kill them," Dylan mumbled to himself as he squeezed the trigger to his rifle even more, frustration making him want to shoot earlier. The workers put the eggs down in a pile near the queen, along with the soldiers as they began digging into the ground to start the colony...

Morleon shrugged. "Say what you will. The Collectors pay well. And their technology gives their buyers unprecedented advantages until the rest of the galaxy adapts the technology themselves. Believe me, I'm not the only one who has traded members of his own species to them. Fortunately for my race, they've seemed particularly interested in humans as of late. Lucky you, eh?"

Jessica snarls. "Yeah, too bad you won't be getting that payment....."

Dylan seemed to lose it at Morleon's last two statements, and shot his rifle directly at the Eclipse Merc's head. The other merchants began firing aswell, trying to be sure to get the well placed shots they were lining up...

Jessica draws her other pistol and begins to fire as well......

Morleon staggered back as the shots bounced off his shields, then dived to the side, behind a large metal crate as his mercs opened fire on the merchants, matching them blow for blow. Morleon shouted from behind his cover, "It's too late for you! The Collectors are on their way, and they'll be very interested in you and your dead friends!"

Jessica fires six more shots before diving into cover and reloading her pistols. She looks out form behind her cover to see if she can spot Morleon......

The merchants lower themselfs further into cover to avoid the shots, while Dylan calls out, "you're the only one's that'll be dead!" The queen's childeren continued digging, making a suitable enough chamber for the queen and her eggs, but continued with making the main area and tunnels...

Lurknig nearby in the jungle, Liinrettes watch the queen and her brood closely, curious as to what the creatures are........

Krythnriin and the other hunters head out into the jungle to kill a Lythr.......

"We'll see, human, we'll see!" Morleon growled back, popping up for a split second, sending a burst of Locust fire at one of the merchants, the rounds hitting him in the head and shoulders and downing him. Morleon crouched back behind cover, activating his omni-tool and making a Combat Drone appear behind Dylan's men, which proceeded to fire upon their unprotected rear flank...

Jessica sees the drone and fires at it two times with her pistols before diving into new cover.......

A few of the merchants quickly spun around and began shooting the drone, quickly bringing it down while the others began firing back at the Eclipse Mercs. A few of the guarding soldiers pick up the faint scent of the Liinrettes and begin towards them, hungry...

Even as the Drone dissipated, the mercs sent a hail of Inferno Grenades raining down on the merchants, enveloping their formation in a miniature firestorm. Morleon added to this, sending an Incineration Packet directly at Dylan...

Jessica fires into the eclipse soldiers again, trying to stay low before reloading.....

The Liinrettes back up a few steps, the lead one letting out a loud squak.......

Dylan shot the packet while it was in mid-air, saving himself as he dove back into cover. The merchants on fire either ran while waving their arms, or rolled on the ground to try and get the flames off of them. A hiss came from the largest soldier, which grew closer to the group of Liinrettes, looking hungered from the trip to their new home...

The liinrettes squak again, this time in unison, spreading their wings out to make themselves look larger while gettign ready to attack if they come any closer......

Goo-like slime began forming on the lead soldier's maw, which was actually the acid they used as weapons against large prey or predators. The warrior than launched it at the lead liinrette, while the rest swarmed in to attack the others...
