Eziok began walking over, prepareing the men for a lesson.

Azaria knew this region... her mother had once built a hive in a deep tunnel system, with only a single entrance, a cave.
It sounded simple, and it was a logical decision, the tunnel network would give her new brood access to the land, after they made a few adjustments, provided, she would be able to lay her eggs.

The archers stand in a line as their secondary instructor comes to them and help them out with their accuracy and skills with the bow and arrows they wielded...

"I'd prefer to see your city from the street" growled Septimus with a smile. "Meet me at the entrance to this arena, And lead me from there" he added, before spreading his wings and leaping off the stone roof, gliding to the ground, landing softly at the entrance, waiting for the guard...

The disciple narrowed his eyes as he looked at the merchant's wears. "What else do you have, friend? I'm afraid i have no need of such worldly items....the arcane, however, is of some value to me" he said...

Azaria could see the mouth of the cave on the horizon, the mist and fog seeped across it , shrouding it in the distance.

She bellowed out again in excitment, and charged for the cave.

Saurgu continues flying with the spy on her back, looking down at Draxon still and soon spotted another dragon... in the kingdom, interacting with those inhabiting the place...

The Dragon nods in satisfaction, following, glancing around at the civilians of Freyr-Lunge, trying to learn more about the people. their lifestyles, the quality of life they lived, whether or not they were happy with life, crime, if any, among many other things...

The rain started as a slow drizzle at first, a low lying mist rolling down and over the forest as it came down. Before long, anytime Desrium moved a plant water splashed onto his armor and ran down the metal plating. He continued on without fail, finding his way underneath the cover of trees after a short while of walking. By then the rain had become heavier, falling through the gaps in the tree tops and streaming down the barks. The forest had fallen quiet, and only the pattering of droplets hitting leaves met Desrium's ears as he journeyed through the woods. Moving along the forest floor, Desrium took notice of strange plants that started to become much more prominent as he walked forwards. He quickly realized that the bushes with broad purple tipped fronds were the very plants he was after. He got to work snapping off branches and slipping them into his bag, making sure not to get his map wet. The leaves so large that they hung out of the side of the bag. Water flew about in all directions as he gathered the fronds. Slipping through the undergrowth silently was one of the many lizards that lived in the area, attracted by the sound of rustling. Its body was a light brown in color, with rusty red stripes running down its body. Half its face was an orange-red splotch and its eyes were a piercing light green in color. The Frondfoot's frill was yellow with black spots in between segments. It eyed the armored being at a distance, bewildered by its appearance. It had never seen anything like it before in the forest. Desrium, preoccupied with gathering feed for Syria didn’t notice the creature as it cautiously moved closer. It was only when its snout was splashed with rainwater did it make any noise, a loud snort that sent a puff of vapor into the air. Desrium stopped pulling at the bush and turned around slowly to face the creature. His red gaze met its green eyes and the two were locked, staring at each other. The lizard reared up onto its rear legs, staring the armored being down with its forearms hanging in front of it and its tail swerving back and forth across the ground. Desrium simply kept eye contact and stood his ground. The large lizard cocked his head and the yellow flaps on its neck quivered momentarily before it eased itself back on all fours. As far as it was concerned, it wasn’t an aggressor, and as long as it remained passive it wouldn’t have anything to do with it or the others that called this part of the forest home. The Frondfoot moved over to a bush and bit down onto a couple purple tipped leaves, tearing them off with a sharp tug and working the vegetation to its back teeth, grinding it up before swallowing. Desrium returned to his task, thinking about the lizards. There seemed to be vibe of intelligence and personality the creatures gave off when one looked into their eyes…

Ferdinand continued down the street, peasants walknig down towards their farms, some of the more wealthy ones buying from the dozens of vendors lining the central square. "So where do you want to go first, Septimus? The Archives? The Mausoleum? The Temple fo Greshlynk?"

Aviva, always an early riser by nature, was already standing at the mouth of the cave, neck held in a graceful S-curve, green eyes trained on the skyline. Ruuva and Nex had not returned in the night. That wasn't so unusual; hunts could take days, every predator knew that. But Aviva had been hoping to speak to her parents and resolve the situation quickly. Behind her, her tail swept over the floor of the cave as she heaved a quiet sigh. As much as she disliked admitting it, she had missed Zar, and Ren, and her parents. And she'd missed her home. But now she was missing Arsenic, and anxious to get back to him.

"Aviva." The deep voice made her half-turn her head and give a hum of acknowledgement. Zar made his way quietly past a few still-sleeping Extraxl and joined her. His crimson scales glinted in the sunlight and his black eyes were kind as he looked at her. The golden stripe on his dark fin looked especially bright in this light. "I'm sure they'll be back soon," he growled, holding her gaze. For some reason, Aviva found it hard to look away; but look away she did, to survey the land that might one day belong to her.

"But will soon be soon enough?" she replied quietly. "I have a life outside of this one now, Zar, and I know there are friends waiting for my return." She paused. Her forked tongue flicked in and out a few times agitatedly. "However...I also have a duty. To the Extraxl, to Ruuva and Nex...to myself." Aviva sighed again. "Sometimes I wish I was not born to our leaders. It would make things so much simpler if I were a simple female with no more worry than where the wind takes me."

He was quiet for a little while, just looking at her. She could feel his searching gaze, trying to figure her out. "There are friends who can help you with your duties, Aviva." he paused; there seemed to be something else he wanted to say. He opened his jaws, began to speak, stopped, and looked away. She gave him a questioning look. "I..." he began. He stopped, took a deep breath. "Look, there's something I want to..." As he met her eyes, his voice trailed into silence; he cleared his throat and started again. "I know it isn't my place to ask you to stay. I know the unknown calls to you. I...I know you'll probably leave once you've spoken to the Matris and Sator." Zar seemed to be struggling with himself. "But...Aviva...if you stay, I...I really want to be there for you. To help you with...with leading the Extraxl. And...I guess...I guess what I'm really trying to say is that..."

Aviva caught herself holding her breath, searching his black gaze almost frantically. Was he about to say what she thought he was going to...?

"That I...love you, Aviva. I've loved you since we were juveniles. I remember looking at you, every day, and thinking how beautiful you were...and hoping that when you were old enough, you'd choose me to be your mate." Something warm and infinitely tender had crept into his voice. "To stand at your side when it came time for your mother and father to join our ancestors.... And I kept hoping, even after you left, that you'd come back. That I'd see you again. I kept reminding myself...when you came back...I was finally going to tell you how I felt about you." He paused. "How I've always felt about you."

Aviva found herself at a loss for words. But something in her heart had reacted strongly to Zar's words, and now she was feeling strangely giddy. Her heart was pounding against her ribs, and she heard herself say in a small voice, "You...you really love me?"

"Yes. I really, really love you, Aviva." He looked strangely afraid - of what? That she would say she didn't love him back? But that would be a lie - she did love him, more than she ever thought possible.

"I love you too, Zar," she whispered. "And I would be happy to have you as my mate." Suddenly, Arsenic and Vix popped into her mind. her heart seemed to constrict as she remembered that she might not be staying long. The moment of perfection - of wanting to stay here for the rest of her life, with Zar - was gone, leaving her feeling as though she'd been drenched unexpectedly in ice cold water. "B-but I...my friends...out there, they're waiting for me...I can't..."

"I'll come with you." His reply was swift and not thought out - an automatic reaction, tinged with desperation not to lose her again. Not after he'd just spilled his heart to her and found she felt the same way.

"No." The refusal was just as swift, her voice sharp and her expression suddenly cold. He flinched and looked away. Her tone softened a bit. "I'm sorry, Zar...I love you. but you can't come with me. And I...I don't think I'll be staying for long after I've spoken to my parents."

As if the mention of Ruuva and Nex had called to them, two familiar shapes suddenly appeared on the horizon. Aviva's gaze focused on them, and she scraped her claws over the stone beneath her. The confrontation she'd both dreaded and hoped for would be soon...

Neither Zar nor Aviva noticed one of Ren's eyes open and train on them for a moment, glittering with anger and pain before it closed again.

"Archane.... Archane... ooh! I remember now!" The salesman said as he pulled out of his possesions a massive piece of amber, roughly 3 feet wide and weighing several pounds. But it was what was inside that was of the upmost value... Inside, was the head of an Orochi, preserved for many thousands of years inside of it. It was not a fully-grown head, but it was rather large, and seemed to smile out at the disciple, as if tempting him...

Azaria 's trek was comeing to an end, she was only a few hundred yards from the cave. Once their, she would rest, and then maybe a meal...

Eziok found the recruits extremley teachable, they listened well, and remembered everything he told them, especially the effects of wind on arrows. So far, it was turning out to be a good day, besides his recent blackout.

Eziok han't had this much fun for years. Helping the young archers was actually quit thrilling for the older woodsman.

Azaria stood directly infront of the cave. She was here. This would be hers, no, it already WAS hers.

She leaned back and bellowed at the sky.

Ikargu looked at his daughter as she floated on the surface of the water, beginning to swim after a moment with his eyes still on her, as if expecting something.

The archers keep on doing as they are instructed, while Saurgu lands nearby, dropping off the spy and flying away moments later...

Azaria descended deep into the cave.
The cavern had naturaul blue light around it, a result of the crystals in the walls.
It would be a perfect place for a hive...
The matriarch curled up and began to sleep...
